Binance and HITBTC are excellent exchanges and very decent. I always enable additional security such as Authenticator so it can't be in the plow. Security is crucial because it keeps the digital assets we store. When Binance happens hacking, I am not worried because my assets are still secure.

Here have spesific board for Hardware Wallet, you can post about hardware problem there Why not bought a new wallet where you can find more secured, looks more good and nothing to worry about security. Well, base on what you did you should be fine since you generate a new private keys but I’m not sure if its a legit wallet or not.
