Never do any transactions to any unknown users just like a basic rule especially newbie accounts except if that user is trusted and just made a new account for business purposes. Not all newbies are scammer sometimes they're owned by bounty/signature campaign manager.
You're right not all newbies are scammer maybe few of them are owned by bounty campaign manager. Or maybe in order to avoid these things you should stick to your trusted campaign manager. In my case I only participate to campaign that were managed by my trusted campaign manager and it is all worth because I can assure that his campaign was not scam. choosing a trusted manager is the main benchmark before deciding to participate in it. it's true not all beginners are scammers because there are some big projects that create new accounts to run its campaign program that can be done by itself, but on the other hand he must have escrow so that campaigns can be trusted by everyone |

recently there have been many failed ICO projects and are able to bring the money that has been invested by people who join the project. many factors led to the collapse of a project, one of which the project did not achieve token sales target until the end of ICO, some even took the opportunity to collect some money that has been entered from the investor so that it can take advantage for personal interests

I know that there are many kinds of alternative coins existing today, but is it better to have that many coins instead of having just a few? What are the benefits and harm in having that many alternative coins?
it all depends on how much capital we have to buy more types of coins that we will make as a form of investment. but before deciding to invest in some altcoins should do more research on the altcoin we will invest, by choosing a potentially long-lasting altcoin and having a high trading volume. if all the altcoins we choose to serve as investment assets are very potential, it is clear we will gain greater profits and have variations in profitability depending on each coin we choose |

Crypto market is highly volatile, and of course can be influenced by the value of coins that are already trusted by investors (bitcoin), when bitcoin prices decrease automatically altcoin value must have the same thing, therefore bitcoin is the main horn of the market cryptocurrency

I disagree. I think the best time to invest is now. It is possible that the market will go up again and we should not miss this chance to invest. The only thing that I agree with what you said is researching before investing. It is common knowledge to know where your money is going. Knowing the potential and the demand for the product is a must. For ICO's, I would recommend that you check the whitepaper and the team behind it. The most important part is to trust you instinct. If you thought that there is something wrong. Maybe there is.
I also agree with you, I consider the current downswing could be the all-time low and it's the best time to buy any altcoin or even bitcoin, there is no such prediction that determined the exact time for the bull to run but we can determine the best time to buy, anyway it is our responsibility to choose the right coins to invest whether it is by our intuition or research as long it is favorable for a better result at our side. if we believe crypto will continue to grow for the future, then there is no time most appropriate to buy bitcoin or altcoin because no one can ensure the daily crypto price movement even many people who believe cryptocurrency will continue to increase its price in the future |

I would suggest you to choose the coins with values less than $10 as well as the top listed ones. Litecoin, ETH, BCH, Monero, NEM and NEO. Select few best tokens with best projects and best teams. We do have so many ICOs getting in but very few survive. Just go through the details given in white paper and in road map. Just watch out for their growth Investing in tokens can make you so rich at times make you dissatisfied with nothing.
Neo and Monero are well suited to use as current investment assets, trading volumes on both altcoins have good growth to be used as investment assets and potentially for long periods of time. |

Agreed best way of getting through this dip is holding till it gets high, if you are thinking about holding of your bitcoin I would suggest you to buy some coin as well, after that do nothing but just holding your bitcoin you have bought to hold, because doing so will surely give you good amount of profit, as at the end of 2108 price of bitcoin will start pumping high. indeed many people believe that by the end of 2018 bitcoin will pump high, the best decision for now that is by holding bitcoin and some can be used to be more developed by doing short-term trading to get a little profit |
