you unlocked ur wallet?
Greetz Steve
it's not telling me anything. i've typed in the password and the timeout but i don't know if i'm doing it correctly. what would be the right syntax for that? when i do the password and timeout on its own line i get the same 32601 code. walletpassphrase yourpassword 60 Where 60 is one minute for example.I got confused first time i found out about this , that i actually had to write "walletpassphrase" then the actual password after that

I believe the true power and potential of blockchain can also be achieved by approaching crypto as a commodity. It is more understandable.
As someone said in a 2014 topic "there is a small niche in the market that has not been exploited. As more money gets poured into this digital game, there will be those sanctuaries for high priced coins, few people can afford to buy-in and that's what makes them special."
These are untapped and un-exploited markets, eventually we are going to see a huge boom for these small supplied currencies."
We are still in the early days of "crypto-commodity", but i believe UNO and BTB will have first mover advantage.
The growth potential is huge, and many don't realise this yet.

Hope there's gonna be a lite/electrum wallet someday, the qt wallet is a little unstable and it's taking ages to sync

|

So where do you send QRL from Bittrex? directly to an ETH address? or will there be a separate wallet?

Woah, 0.3 PH/s, too much sudden hashpower, needs to be more sustained

So i've been thinking, supposely people around here have portofolios, and lots of coins. But let's be honest, it's quite difficult to regularly/daily check each and every coin for updates (there's a lot of them), and most importantly, to check for a hard fork/swap.Some around here have full-time jobs, and maybe they don't have that much free time. Whenever i see the words "Hard Fork" in a coin topic, i feel a slight pain in my stomach, thinking what consequences will follow, more precisely, like people missing a Hard Fork/Swap because they were busy, they had personal problems or they were just keeping the coins in cold storage without knowing what a Hard Fork/Swap is.
There's no need to give away any coin names, as i'm sure many of you around here are familiarized with the concept of Hard/Fork and stories about lost coins.
Now, the ideea is, to create some type of system, more specifically, a regularly updated list (maybe hosted somewhere), so that people won't miss any Hard Fork info/Swaps/Wallet updates, basically, any procedure or instruction that will avoid any catastrophic events, like losing your stash.
Now, there are many aspects and implications of this concept.
-Firstly, the list of Coins that have a Hard Fork/Swap planned should be created by some criterias Popularity/Rank/Quality. -So, in case there will be a Hard Fork happening, it would be recommended that the list should be updated by devs, and legit people that have the right to represent a Coin from the list.
So, i was thinking for example:
1.Coin A - Hard Fork happening on (insert date here) instructions here (link to ANN/specific message in the coin's topic) 2.Coin B - Hard Fork happening on (insert date here) update wallets 3.Coin C - Hard Fork happening on (insert date here) prepare for swap, instructions here (link)
I'm waiting for some opinions on this matter

Strange things going on with the PRO network. I sent a small amount to Cryptopia but so far it hasn't appeared & the TxID doesn't show in the block explorer. As a check, I send a small amount to another wallet I control on a different rig - that never appeared either & the TxID also doesn't show in the block explorer.
My clients are the latest versions with 4 connections each - yet my deposits are vanishing into oblivion - any ideas anyone?
I succesfully made a few payments between cryptopia and the client, i used v0.10.1.2 version (same as the one on cryptopia) , was the client synced completely?it's usually recommended to sync a QT client before sending anything But i have another theory regarding this issue, maybe the fact that there's only 1 connection on the Cryptopia wallet, and if that connection sometimes has issues, it could cause delays or something like that, being dependent on that single connection

Also, Prototanium (PR) looks interesting (SHA 256 POW)
"Prototanium is based entirely on the 0.10.x branch of Unobtanium but supports synching and using the testnet chain of Unobtanium instead of its own blockchain! Therefore; Prototanium is an exact copy of Unobtanium in terms of mining rewards and technology. And it also shares the Unobtanium testnet blockchain."
Very rare (250k total supply just like UNO), current price is 0.4$ (0.1$ one week ago)
2$ target price

Hello everyone, Today, i throw in AEON AEON is a Monero Fork with small improvements: -Fast Syncing -Blockchain Pruning -Optional Lightweight Transfers (As a CryptoNote coin, payments are still anonymous by default. But unlike Monero, AEON also allows for non-anonymous transfers. This is a faster and cheaper option for non-sensitive payments, like transferring to/from exchanges) -AEON's lightweight PoW (CryptoNote-Lite) allows for faster verification of the blockchain. -1 MB scratchpad allows AEON to run efficiently on mobile devices alongside regular laptops and desktops -Same maximum supply of 18.4 million coins as XMR So, how i see things here, AEON has only 1% of XMR's value (55$), development and community looks quite active, and it seems to be something like Lite-Monero, so 10% of XMR's price (5.5$) would be a realistic prediction.

Looks like the 250 sats buy wall was broken, today's volume looks interesting ... A huge buy wall around 250 still Somebody bought some but it looks like but the buy wall is still there. Pretty high volume though considering small coin, small exchange etc... Oh you're right it's still there

If you desperately want to use SD Cards or USB drives/flash drives go out and by three high quality ones The smartest thing i have heard today. I recommend the same approach, but instead of flash drive can be used quality CD+R disk. You can add information to it, with no afraid to erase previous session. How long will a CR+R disk last compared to a flashdrive? A CD will probably last more, i have a Bach Concert cd from 87' and it still works
