...

I can indeed verify your identity, i am going to submit a request to the admins for you to correct this situation.
2  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: January 18, 2017, 04:18:45 PM
You are indeed right, if you assume development and support is free. But in order to keep developing, innovating and to keep people working there are just bills which need to be paid. Haasonline started as a hobby project in 2013 but just has grown towards a company, so selling a product and keeping administration is a normal to do.

In addition i would like to notice hat there is always a big difference between open-source and disclosed source. At open-source you can see developers going straight to there goals and at disclosed projects you can see the scope is always much wider. For example, most open-source crypto bots do not have a interface, but we do because we got the funds to make this.

Its also the company formula to keep innovating. We do not stop development, we just keep expanding the feature set and adding in new features. Its not abnormal to suddenly get a new bot because thats exactly what we do with the sales. Its a circle, license sales create income, we use it to keep growing and expanding and on the end we all benefit from it.

It is common knowledge that good traders keep there strategy disclosed. I am not gonna discuss this. Same goes for the effects of running a strategy.

Let me share something more interesting... we have adjusted our sales prices. Sinds we are selling the haasbot licenses into bitcoin we must adapt the price from time to time. In this case we have adjusted to the $1000 price levels and this has resulted into a price drop of 30% on all the licenses.

The beginner license was 0.17 BTC and has become 0.12 BTC
The simple license was 0.30 BTC and has become 0.21 BTC
The advanced license was 0.45 BTC and has become 0.32 BTC

In addition i would like to wish everybody a happy 2017 from the full Haasonline Team. Lets hope it will become a fantastic bitcoin year again. Smiley

Sorry, but that doesn't really make sense to me - if you take away my method of making money, how does that change anything?

It changes a lot because if you disclose your ways then others will copy it. The more people who copy and use it, the less profitable it becomes.

For example, i can post a working strategy over here and it will be working very well. But by tomorrow other have read it too and have set it up as well, after all we all want to make profits. As a result i can predict that the strategy will not be good anymore, too many people just want to trade at the same time.

I know not everything is listed on our website at this moment, but if you read the forum and wiki carefully then you can see we have taken this in account. We do have a few bots which are pre-setup and they are working good but that is only because they are all unique, they all trade at there own moment so the problem of having many users who want to trade at the same time can not be happening.

We do not have a trial version, sorry. This is software is designed to make money, so having a trial version does not make a lot of sense. But of course we do understand some people want to have a look first and we got several things prepared to be able to do this. Feel free to write me or krach a message to get more information about this or just send us a support ticket on the website www.haasonline.com

I'm just very curious, but given the lack of activity here or on the forums, the risk of even one month is not worth it for me really.

Curious though why you say a money-making product doesn't make sense to have a trial?

A trial for money making software does not make sence because why should a company make costs on production and servers and all just to give you a free way to make money? No company will do this, they will always be some method setup to compensate for this.

Let me give example so its easier to understand. Lets take TradingView for example. TradingView is offering you a free trial, you can register yourself and then you can use there services for free for a x period. It looks interesting, but if you look closer you will understand how it really works. For example, each script you make is not yours. So if you work a real long time to create something very good then its not yours. Think about this, this is what really happens at trials.

We at Haasonline have said from the start to respect privacy, this means when you get a service or product from us, its yours. We do not have to compensate for anything because its all paid for. As a result you get total privacy and i think with money making software this is just a must.

This gets me to people who use it and the postings. When somebody has setup a good strategy then this somebody is not sharing it. We are all humans and we want to gain the most, so about 99.9% of all the people who trade will not tell you how they do it else they lose there advantage. This is why people do not share there results, they keep it disclosed. So its normal to see this happening.

As for trial goals... of course we fully understand people have questions and we are ready for this. We got a demonstration server running and we use this to show what the software can do. We also try to go in the depth if somebody has a specific method he wants to use for trading. We have learned over the past years that this is much better to do it this way because it just more personal. Everybody can use help, so why not give it directly? Smiley

Oh yes the prices are getting high again and that is good of course, we love this for trading, but we have enabled the MOON coupon for a 30% discount. Its valid for new users and for upgrades.

@Myro~n:
We do not have a trial or demo version of our software. But if you reach out to the supportdesk then you will find we do have a live demo version running and we do have a hidden cheap testing license. Its present, but not publicly promoted.

For affiliation its also good to reach out, Theo is our is the chief of affiliations and he is able to help you more then you can expect. For example, we got some special tools for affiliation too, like https://twitter.com/HaasTrading1 for example.

@mohamedzaki:
We are aware of the problem which is happening in Egypt, you are not alone, its looks like the ISPs has blocked our website. We do not know why, but we are reaching out to get an answer and to get it undone.

If you send me a message with your username on the haasonline forum then i can upgrade it for you so you can see the hidden parts too.
8  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: August 10, 2016, 09:58:24 AM
There was no special reason for the downtime. We did observed it too because we do have monitoring tools setup but we where not working on it. It could only been the host who went briefly offline.

If it happens please know that our systems do not fall that easily. We got many servers tracking data from several locations and its all setup as a "fail-over" construction. I can not claim its impossible to break, but we did our best to make it hard to break.

People who where running the haasbot where not affected by this downtime. The Haasbot is designed to track prices native, independent from our servers. Our server do send prices, but as a backup protocol. In the event both methods break then there is a last line of defense which is our history server. If that last one breaks as well then its safe for us to say the API of the exchange is just down. (eg like we have seen with Bitfinex recently)

BTW Feel always free to send us a message to support@haasonline.com in the worst case the website and forum is offline.

We have just release version 3.0.22 and this new version introduces our second way of doing arbitrage. We had the triangle arbitrage already supported but now we are also supporting inter-arbitrage, working at 2 exchanges at the same time.

This new bot type is an high risk bot type based on our tests, so at the moment its positioned at the Advanced license but it will be upgraded to the Professional license later on because of the risk involved. Its an real professional bot type, its not for beginners. If you test it, do it with caution.

In addition... i saw margin trading was requested, the past week we have been working on this and our new version also has support for margin trading now. The only thing left to do for us is to expand this to our custom bot types, then its all done and supported all the way.  Cool

Just as an small note... on our forum and on our bugtracker you can see an lot of interaction between the users and the team. It might be interesting to see that as well. Wink
11  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: March 09, 2016, 01:18:21 PM
Ok, and what would you recommend the minimum balance across all accounts be to use the arbitrage trading?

The recommended trade amount per arbitrage bot is between 0.1 and 0.2 BTC.

But if you go over to our wiki at https://wiki.haasonline.com/ then you will be able to find much more information about the arbitrage bots and there recommendations. For small questions i would recommend to send in an support ticket, send am PM or to create an topic on our forum. This way you get the answers as well and this topic will not turn into an slow chat.

No offence, but slow chats are just not really wanted in an more public topic like this, people who read things here just are looking for an good overview or the last news and things alike.  An slow chat does not contribute to it, instead because its specialized its just better to go in deep inside an topic on our own forum at https://forum.haasonline.com/. This advantage of this is that more people are looking into it and are likely to answer and respond.

Yes absolutely, without an doubt.
13  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: March 08, 2016, 04:30:38 PM
I am sorry this is very hard to tell without some more information. Like how much do you put in and on which exchange do you run it.
14  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: March 08, 2016, 11:23:22 AM
Sure its good at it, its just math and logic. An arbitrage-bot is doing nothing more then number crushing. It get all the price updates are looks for tradable routes. The routes are calculated with the fee and the spread taken in account and then the outcomes are compared. If there is profits and it meets the given threshold then it will issue 3 orders one-by-one. The arbitarge bot will try to do these 3 trades over and over again.

So yes it works and it works nicely. But if you look down to the essence of an arbitrage bot then you can see it depends on market instability. Thats triggering it. The profits are based on tiny price differences, so in overall the profits are low. Its all about doing the trading route as many times as possible as long as the instability is present, thats the multiplier for the profits.

I can tell you how amazing the arbitrage bots are, i can overwelm you with cool screenshots. But as an company we have 1 goal and thats to help you get the biggest profits. We do this by telling you just fair how its like and we tell you what the best ways are based on what we do.

BTW To all users, if you read this are you are NOT running version 3 already please go to our forum (https://forum.haasonline.com/) and grap this amazing version. Its an full rewrite of the software, running very high-end and for the current moment we are doing the final tests runs. We are having an look if it works for everybody and if it does, then the release will follow soon. But before this time all features are enabled on all licenses "so it can be tested". Take your advantage out of this!
16  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: March 07, 2016, 12:10:13 PM
The pair or coin type does not matter, as long as you can inter-exchange it. Like Btc/Usd, Ltc/Usd and Ltc/Btc. You can exchange those inside an triangle setup and that is how it works. You can control the pairs which are used and the trigger percentage, the logic inside the bot will check all the possible routes for you and triggers when the given profit are found.

All bots are taking the fee in account, but they also do an little bit more. They also watch the orderbook (aka the price spread) in order to see if an trading route will be profitable or not.

BTW Do not focus yourself to much on arbitrage, sure it looks interesting and this indeed works. But the real profit numbers are made with the trade-bots trading on an leverage or by alt-coin investments.

Ik weet niet of het zal helpen maar haal vaak is je wallet ID alzijnde URL opgeslagen. Als je die zou kunnen achterhalen in je geschiedenis dan kom je in ieder geval bij de login. Wellicht dat je hier iets mee kan.

18  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is e-coin.io trustable? on: October 30, 2015, 12:01:53 PM
It very hard to say how much can can trust an company, it has to prove itself over time.

But i can confirm e-coin.io does deliver. Personally i got this VISA debit card ordered and it arrived nicely. So far it looks good. Smiley
19  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: October 23, 2015, 01:46:57 PM
Its hard to talk about the benefits (or drawbacks), its really just another way of doing arbitrage. I could say cross-arbitrage is easier because it requires less trading and the triangle is more complex. But it all comes down to doing market orders on the end so how much different it is really?

We do have an Linux beta version availible on the forum (OSX too), but its still beta because sometimes we get reports it works fine and sometimes it looks like its not fully stable. I just am fair about this part. We are trying to nail it down, but it has proven to be an hard one because its really totally random. No real clear pattern has been found yet. On our own forum we have an active topic about this and the developer responsible for it is present as well to assist.

Edit:
I am not fully sure about the root access. But what i do know the software uses Mono as a base and it requires to send and recieve data from and to the internet. (you can use an white list of course) And the software must be able to host an website to show its own interface. (this can be setup local and enclosed with localhost or with an public IP adres, like at VPS/VPC setups)
20  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: October 23, 2015, 10:47:11 AM
Yes the initial plan was to drop the arbitrage abilities, but when we placed version 2.3 inside beta we got an pretty load of comments from our userbase about this decision. It was more used then we even realised.

So to correct the situation we as a team have decided to let it return. It will make an comeback after the 2.3 beta release and we are having a look if we can empower it a bit more. So in conclusion, we are NOT dropping it after all, we plan to expand it instead. Smiley

There are many ways to do arbitrage, the one we have implemented right now is by doing arbitrage on 1 exchange. This means this exchange has to have 3 pairs to make the arbitrage cycle complete. For example bitstamp will not work with 1 pair, but Cryptsy, Bittrex, Poloniex and BTC-e will work.

About Cryptsy... we support them and we know there are rumors going around. We track them as well and we try to get an hold of whats going on exactly. As up till today we have found no indications there are true bad things going on. Official channels deny everything and we do not believe anybody who has an account over there will be in harm. But we keep our eyes open course, if it changes we will issue warnings directly.
