Modular power supplies often don't offer a large number of dedicated PCI-E power connectors but have other 6 pin connectors for peripherals and 4x2 connectors intended for CPU's.
My questions are:
1.) If I were to get the correct cable could I re-purpose those peripheral 6-pin connectors for PCI-E/Vid cards?
2.) What about 6pin splitters? If I was going to use lower watt cards like 75 watt, could I get away with splitting the 6 pin connectors two ways?
3.) I'm interested in this Asus B250 board with all the PCI-E slots and it has molex connectors on the board. Does this mean one doesn't need to power the riser directly because it's being done on the board? Or do you need to run power to both the riser and the molex connectors on the board?

Windows free too, who said we need to pay for windows? only HOMO that pay his windows. All my windows rigs are stable for months. I think windows much better than Linux, see amd driver, miner, most of it in windows, for Linux you need to wait more time. So why stick to LINUX?

Start with filling all of the black PCI-e slots first then move to filling the white ones.
Hmm interesting. On Asrock website they advise to put first vga into full slot. Than start from the closest to CPU and follow in order. For me it is worked well. This was advised by an Asrock tech. It worked for me  I did however have the full slot filled first as well. Thanks for the post. I am going to try this all again and check. There is CD came with the mobo, I did not used it so far. Does the CD needs to installed prior to usage? Please confirm. I never use any of those mb cd, just update windows till no update, then make image for backup/clone later and only need once install windows, all other rigs are using that clone. |

The pool get block frequently now. Don't worry much about that, hope you guys can keep mining hard. Cheer. I don't know why these days the Network Hash Rate is so high that make more difficulty for miners. Any suggestion?

Try mining there with 15khs for 20+ hours, got blocked and rejected by server lots of time and no total due till I quit. |

i'm going to buy one myself, does it detect all the 13 gpu without doing anything?
i think i can do a 1500 watt-one -cpu build with 12x 1070ti underpowered at 55%-60% tdp, i see no reason to push the gpu at 90-100%, the gain is minimal...
For me, max I can get stable only 12 GPU (AMD), can get 13 GPU but 2 last card will get halved hash. For that 12 AMD RX 5xx using 1300-1400w. 1500w PSU I think can go for 1320w max on wall. 1500 corsair can go much higher on power in , on wall i mean like 1600 Since PSU efficiency 90% so max on wall is 1666w for 1500w PSU (100%), but rule said 80% from that that's why 1333w max on wall. |

Where did you get the TRKC address from? you can try Offline Wallet Generators to get it.

Microcenter near me has EVGA SuperNOVA 850 Watt 80 Plus Platinum Modular ATX Power Supplys for $164.99.
Would two of these be ok instead of a 1300w or 1600w Platinum? Any pros/cons to using 2 separate PSUs?

Using 2 PSU good too, the problem is PCIE cable. Each vega need 2 x 8 pins, and I don't know how many PCIE that PSU supplied. As I see on web https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=220-g2-0850-xrPCIE Cable 2x 700mm, 850mm (m) 2x 700mm (m) (I think they got 5) so you need to buy 1 more cable for each PSU. ^ Extractly, 1 Vega need 2 x 8 pins ! Don't have enough cable. And the cable don't sale individual... I use Corsair RM1000x for 4/5 vega (it comes with 4 PCIE (6+2)x2), with that you can easily fit 4 vega. |

Just got my aftermarket vega 56 and it's using hynix memory.
can i still flash it to the manufacturer's vega 64 bios from reference cards? (samsung)
or which vega 64 bios can i flash to?
I don't flash my 56 vega to 64, and I still can get 1950 h/s using core 1375 mem 950. |

Always buy best item, so you wont need to troubleshoot. ^^^^ This.... You get what you pay for. Personally I love 8 GPU rigs to me that's the sweet spot. Go for that, much better than 6 and of course less troublesome than 12. Of course you can add more later if you use H110/B250 motherboard. |

Can someone give me a recommendation for the best power supply for 6x Vega 64 build. Was going to go Delta 2400w Server PSU but they are out of stock everywhere. Looking for a plan B, links appreciated.
6 Vega only use around 1000w, so any psu with 1200+ enough for this or maybe 1500w for safety. |

I wonder why the Network Hash rate Cryptonight Pool is increasing abnormal. We doubt there is an Ddos or flood the Network. Is there any solution to reduce or control it? Thanks

Why go for 1500w? I think that too expensive, better go for 1000w or max 1200 and then add 1 more psu later (1000w or 850w)
