5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cgminer Running Super Slow? on: April 22, 2013, 05:13:49 AM
Have you tried any other miners? I know for me litecoins mine way slower than they should on cgminer.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocoin Mining Information -- find the most profitable coin to mine! on: April 20, 2013, 01:57:00 AM
Hmm, this site is telling me that TRC is up 300%, and telling me I would mine 27coins/day. Yet after a night of mine at higher than normal speeds I only mined 4. I pretty sure something is off with the site

Do you need to be a relativity large miner to use the p2pool or can it be done with a small setup?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Novacoin worth Mining? on: April 18, 2013, 07:24:25 AM
For mining with cgminer/guiminer-scrypt do I need to do anything different other than putting in the new urls?
10  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Double-bet-on-lose method applied to bitcoin gambling on: April 18, 2013, 07:08:57 AM
I remember reading a story (Can't say it was 100% true, but you never know) that was basically about 3 guys that where in vegas playing roulette, on martingale. They kept betting black, but the wheel landed red 31 times in a row. All 3 men and everyone else at the table was broke.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Novacoin worth Mining? on: April 18, 2013, 06:36:43 AM
I'm looking at dustcoin.com right now and It's telling me that with my minimal setup I'll make a little bit more mining Novacoins instead of litecoins. However I haven't read anything good about Novacoins so I was wondering if it was even worth it.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [LTC] [PPS] [Stratum only] ltcmine.ru - Litecoin PPS mining pool (2.5%) on: April 16, 2013, 03:28:53 PM
If I live in North America will joining this pool reduce my earnings significantly because of the lag?

I had been mining on notroll.in using easyltc until today, and now I can't get it to run with wemineltc.com? Does anyone know what if I need to do anything different to setup? I also tried using cgminer with the .bat file that was created but I was only getting 50khashs/s, when I normally get 380khashs/s
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EasyLTC--The Easiest Litecoin GUIMiner! on: April 16, 2013, 04:52:36 AM
Downloaded your miner a couple days ago and was really liking it. However after the notroll.in fiasco I wanted to switch to another pool and haven't been able to get it to mine on any other pool. Is there anything I can change?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [TUTORIAL] Solo Mining Litecoins Guide--Windows! on: April 16, 2013, 03:35:40 AM
Now, I know that for solo mining bitcoins it basically isn't worth it without ASIC, but what about with litecoins? How many KHash/s should I have to effectively solo mine?
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just watched a little under ten million USD get transfered on: April 14, 2013, 11:36:53 PM
God damn I wish I had 1% of 1% of that money....

You are aware that's only 1000$ right?

It is? Then I only have about 20% of that too
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's your Mhash/s? (Pissing contest here) on: April 14, 2013, 11:35:53 PM

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I get a Litecoin wallet? on: April 14, 2013, 04:57:06 AM
but if we are talking 1000+ LTC then use a real wallet, encrypt it, and back it up at least 3 times.

I'm dealing with less than 100, most of the time less than 10 LTC

I am not a rich man
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I get a Litecoin wallet? on: April 14, 2013, 04:25:05 AM
Why not set up an account on btc-e.com and use that as your LTC wallet?

https://btc-e.com/exchange/ltc_btc

dont follow this advise ^

OK, then is there an online LTC wallet, or one that doesn't require me to download 300K blocks

What's the problem with downloading the chain?

I am surprised at how many people don't use offline wallets...

I normally do use offline wallets, at-least that's what I do for BTC...

I just don't want my computer to download the entire blockchain right now, I want it to be mining or running DoTA
