301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 04, 2018, 04:59:53 AM
GDAX just came back up

Coinbase is down too.

Good! Let's just focus more on bitcoin and altcoin markets rather most of the volume just rolling in and out fiat-btc.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did crypto become mainstream too early? on: June 01, 2018, 02:22:03 PM
Crypto is very very far from being mainstream. The money all around the world is nearly hundred trillion dollars and crypto market is not even worth half of a trillion dollars. This is not negative because this means that our room for growth is still very wide.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ☑ [ANN] ☰ [ ICO 06|04|2017 ] ☰ Humaniq — Discover the unbanked on: June 01, 2018, 06:43:31 AM
This will be a tough journey in the road to success. Africa their main target will not be easy too. But I like how the team continuous to work with effort. Today they are attending a world fintech event in London trying to establish networks with IBM, Western Union and Microsoft. Hopefully they can make a  good partnerships with those giant companies.
A year ago, such news would have raised a very good price, but the times are different now. We can only hope for partnership with major players.

Because there are too many coins out there in the market. The competition is getting tougher. Every project needs to step up. A huge community is becoming a good help. I believe Humaniq can make partnerships with big companies in the future if they continue with their sheer determination.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: June 01, 2018, 06:11:47 AM
The fact is there is always the high chance that lowly capitalized coins will move faster than those in the top especially bitcoin. It is basic. It only takes several millions of dollars to move coins that are still worth few millions than those sitting in billions that would take also billions to make it double in price.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia is going to accept crypto! on: June 01, 2018, 06:00:49 AM
I am also confused on what is really Russia's stance on crypto currencies. It won't be that bad I think as there are too many Russians that are leading big projects like Waves and even Vitalik himself is a Russian with a Canadian citizenship though.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Janus [JNS] Blockchain secured global business - Ignis || Ardor on: June 01, 2018, 05:18:52 AM
I love the design of the ETC CASINO it really looks stunning!!! LOOKS like our dividends every month will get more and more plump and JANUS is very cheap at the moment..

Maybe I'm missing something : what casino are you talking about? Any link please?

Yeah, I'd like to see it too. And what does it have to do with Janus?

Janus is becoming cheaper than expected compared to last year. Did the team having some dialogues with some trading sites? Some coins that are all hype and not really necessary made it into some exchanges so Janus won't be having that much problems offering into their markets.
307  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money for school fees. Invested in bitcoin. on: June 01, 2018, 04:40:21 AM
Very bad decision. I guess this guy failed on his investments. I am thinking what happened to him now, possibly out of school or maybe asked pardon on parents. It is too volatile and bitcoin came from its ath so deep correction was expected early this year.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are still buying Bitcoin? on: May 31, 2018, 02:16:24 PM
If people buy Bitcoin at $8,000, they will get 100% profit only when Bitcoin reaches $16,000. If it takes 5 years to reach $16,000, people will earn more money from Gold and Silver than from Bitcoin. Silver is giving 20% to 35% profit in one year.

Mining cost of one Bitcoin is $5,000 or more. When Bitcoin was $400 or $800 it was understandable because people had to just spend $400 or $800 to get one Bitcoin and $1,200 is super high profits when Bitcoin started from $1.

People are still buying bitcoin because they all know that they can be rich if they have it because the price of it is unpredictable and it is increasing unexpectedly. Just like what our investor said buy in a low price and sell it in a high price.

Can someone challenge the maker of this thread into a bet? I am willing to take that bitcoin will reach $16,000 again before year 2023 starts. We can choose some top people in this community to serve as escrow.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡[ANN]⚡ ▐░Espers [ESP]░▌▐░PoW/PoS░▌▐░HMQ1725 Algo░▌ ▐░New Features░▌ on: May 30, 2018, 08:51:53 AM
I love the idea of an old coin with 25% POS being supported by an active team.   Let's keep this thing working, I would love to ad it to my list of low entry high staking coins with good teams.

Be great to get on one more exchange.

Yes. More exchange please as the volume is still lower. Maybe cryptopia is possible. I think Espers is a big community so maybe there is a good chance to join the lists of exchanges providing polls on which coin they will add next.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ☑ [ANN] ☰ [ ICO 06|04|2017 ] ☰ Humaniq — Discover the unbanked on: May 30, 2018, 08:37:19 AM
Humaniq team has done lot of testings and work in countries of pilot project in Africa and experience and feedback which they got from these countries can be helpful and implemented on other more easily. I think U.N mission to deal with aids and such activities should study the business model and work on ground realities on those remote areas. Humaniq need some picking up point to have real start.
It is hard to imagine that many countries will support this project. I like the idea of the project very much, but it all depends on the regulators of those countries where this project can potentially work.

311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: True BTC believers on: May 30, 2018, 08:11:50 AM
Believing in Bitcoin is good but not with blind eyes. Buying and selling in good positions is better than holding all year long.
Exactly yes trading can give a more profit than holding for a long-term if anyone wants a quick money to earn study the trading system buy low and sell high.

Sometimes when you are busy with your job and business it is better to just invest and hold long term. Opportunity costs so it depends which one you will prioritize most. In trading there is also no assurance to gain regular profit compared to a regular job or an already established business.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success? on: May 29, 2018, 03:14:18 PM
I don't think Telegram determines the success and failures of a project. But of course having good numbers of members in a Telegram group is also an advantage as it means there is also heavy interests.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest to Ripple? on: May 29, 2018, 02:20:51 PM
If you are looking for profit stability then I think Ripple is one of the good coins to pick. Technology wise it is also good and there are lots of giant companies in the world interested in using it. In crypto Ripple is considered by most as centralized and should be in the stock market rather.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO VS ETH on: May 29, 2018, 11:24:54 AM
NEO is a competitor of ETH but it is no where near the amount of development that is happening on the Ethereum platform. There are already hundreds if not thousands of tokens and applications being developed on the Ethereum platform and many are even successful with their product.

There are even some coins that are probably better threat to ETH than NEO like EOS, NEM and Stratis to name only a few. The Ethereum alliance seems like they are getting bigger and soon they will start to dominate.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Deal Coin - Decentralised P2P Lending Eco-system - $15M raised in 3 days ! on: May 28, 2018, 01:23:31 PM
Congrats to the team, I just saw that they raised 17 million usd recently, let's hope we will reach atleast 20 million at the end of the token sale.

The uncertainty of the current market is making ICOs kinda hard especially hard caps. $17 million is already very impressive and there is still ample of time to possibly hit the maximum cap. We will be banking on the team's potential to develop this platform as this is already considered successful.
As stated in the website, that is only 34%, I don't know if the figure is constantly updated or now but I think they still have more time
to raise more money. Usually, investment will just come late in the ICO especially if they are doing a great job on the marketing side. Good luck, I hope for the best, possibly a sold out one.
Usually the figure of the collected money is updated via a script that does this automatically in real time. Even if it's fiat money.

Yes I also noticed many ICOs before that have real time automatic updates. Lately I can see more sites are not doing it. I don't know why but anyway Deal Coin is already a big success and stakeholders still have more time to market.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we heading for full recovery now? on: May 28, 2018, 12:52:39 PM
I also thought we were heading into a great recovery few weeks ago but it didn't. There were some fuds lately that caused panic and doubtfulness especially on people that are not really properly educated on crypto technologies. But as always recovery will always come. Patience is badly needed in this young market.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HST][ICO] Horizon State - Decision Token - voting platform - sale over on: May 28, 2018, 09:24:28 AM
I am very curious to see how the voting process for Hadax/Huobi will work out for HST this week. It would be great if we as a community could manage to get listed there!

It's been great for HST to get listed there. I am not just sure how big HST community is. I haven't visited their telegram. I noticed that top exchanges are mostly adding coins that are already traded in Kucoin.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Is your bitcoin earnings enough for you to start a business? on: May 26, 2018, 04:28:41 AM
It seems like this sounds fun, a lot of users are already successful and starting a real business from bitcoin, they make restaurants, electronics and even hotels, but I have not got like them but I will follow it because I'm confident with the future of bitcoin.
Oh wow how is this possible man actually i am hearing for the first time...it can be possible for those who bought bitcoin at a very early phase and got profit of atleast 10-20 times...other than that i dont know how can someone start a business with a bitcoin profit..may be very few of those.

It is easy and not late. Pour in millions of dollars or even hundred thousands in order for you to gain big amounts in short span. You can also study and learn how to trade. Arming yourself with knowledge is the best way. And as always, the bigger your capital then possibly the higher the returns.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀✴️🚀✴️[ANN]-[Perucoin]-🚀✴️🚀✴️The ICO that will change Peru on: May 26, 2018, 04:01:21 AM
This is a good idea. There are things that are worth consideration. Is electricity rate in Peru so cheap compared to current mining difficulty? What is the current stand on the Peruvian government on crypto? Is this coin going to follow government rules or will just go on as long as t is not also prohibited? I wish luck on this project trying to widen the crypto stretch.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange KuCoin and KuCoin shares on: May 25, 2018, 05:44:35 AM
I think that this exchange has a good future. It is developing very actively and will soon be able to compete with the largest stock exchanges.

I think Kucoin will probably survive but not do as well some of the other exchanges, it's new trading interface is worse than the old one and is more reminicsent of a basic DEX exchange than a fully fledged managed exchange, it does not have a easy way to sell off you dust (Binance has a 'one-click' option for this).
I'm not saying that it's a terrable exchanged just that there are better ones out there, I'd only use Kucoin if it has a coin I want and no one else has it.

Kucoin is still very young and still have lots of time to improve. There are already many new exchanges and the older ones are also trying to become better so in order to retain a good market they're gonna need to compete.
