My laptop is 6 years old and basically doesn't work any more. I have 31 BTC and can also include a few USD if it's a relatively new machine. PM or post with offers.

Received my bitbills today! Thanks for the professional service. I'm going to give the 1's and 5's out as gifts. Haven't actually tried to redeem any, so hopefully someone else can verify that process goes smoothly.

I like the idea, and may order from you soon but just as a suggestion I think you need to make your page a little more appealing. Put some pictures of tasty ground coffee beans, explain the flavor of the specific bean... something right away to at least give me an idea of what I'm buying.

I don't think this idea is sustainable in the long run. It seems kind of wasteful to produce a physical one time use product like this.
Can't it be used over and over again until someone finally decides to convert it back to BTC? These could be traded around a bunch of times and always store their value until the final owner decides to upload the money.

Great idea. The homepage colors make my eyes want to bleed though!
Lool, what would you suggest? I was considering changing all of the green to grayscale... Or, click on the FAQ page, and tell me what you think of the colorscheme there. Anything that isn't so bright and more neutral. Color isn't bad, unless it's overwhelming.

And all this is asuming people will pay the fee which is optional...
Stupid noobs don't get opinions until they grow up and take their heads out of their asses ... READ forum ... all questions answered already .. issues solved .. move on .. Quit making comments that you don't know shit about ... asking -> good .. telling stupid shit -> bad Easy there turbo. This post is way worse than anything else in this thread.

How would someone verify if the money is actually forwarded on to the charities?
Don't you think it would be more beneficial to the community to work on getting these charities to accept BTC directly, rather than converting the $ for them to USD?

Economy / Marketplace / Re: WTB Hand holding service (teach me to buy a computer, set up mining program)

If I may make a suggestion or two... (sorry bidders)
1. Bitcoin production is less than the actual amount you get from the mining in most cases. 2. I suggest learning more about building computers, Linux distributions, and basic programming knowledge before attempting this.
Also, I appreciate the suggestion. I'm going to have a discussion with the poster that's helping me, but the rig will be as much for personal use as for mining. I only hope to recoup some of my costs by also using it to mine.

I'm a senior computer engineering student at a top university and have been doing research on supercomputers(both hardware and software) with the university for the last 3 years.
I have plenty of experience building computers, and picking out prebuilt computers. I have helped countless friends and family members pick out computers or parts, but don't participate in the online community as much as nster.
I have a lot of experience with both linux and windows. I have also used bitcoin mining software on both platforms.
I'm also familiar with the best mining parts for the money, and the best places to find them. I'm especially up to date with this generation of computer parts since I recently bought parts for my mining rig and did a bunch of research.
I've used most of the available miners and pools, as well as mining solo, so whatever you want to do, I've already done it.
I also have experience overclocking, so if you're interested I can help you with that as well.
I'm going to go with nphard for 20btc. I can't do anything until the end of this week, maybe as far out as Monday but if you want to PM me your BTC address I'll send you a couple coins to hold your services and we can work out some way to better communicate to get things going. Thanks!
