761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin FUD's and China status? on: September 21, 2017, 08:00:34 AM
Ok just to clarify when do you guys think the chinese government will announce whether they will ban bitcoin mining? Just to confirm is it the date of 18th october next month?

Also on 18th october next month will we know chinese government will bring in new bitcoin trading/tax rules instead of a ban or a sooner date?

If the chinese government ban bitcoin mining then what price do you guys think bitcoin will dip or bottom out at? Will banning mining will make bitcoins rarer and more expensive as there's no miners to mine them for demand?

Also why people saying china banning bitcoin is good?
762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin FUD's and China status? on: September 20, 2017, 10:47:31 AM
JP Morgan Jamie Dimon buying tons of bitcoin causing a price pump from the bottomed out dip, will a dump follow this?

What about chinese exchanges closing at the end of september, will this cause the price to dip again or price has been already reflected for this?

So the end of october we will know whether chinese miners will be banned or not from the China government 19th congress? Ok from this if chinese miners get banned then segwit 2x wont happen or vice versa?

Or is bitcoin is free from all this FUD now and will rise steadily and healthily to $5000 ATH?
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Which Coins has Decentralised Exchange Tech. in their Roadmap? on: September 15, 2017, 03:21:03 PM
Since all this this ban of exchanges in china the next logical move is decentralised exchanges.

I believe associated coins will definitely moon.
764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Clarification on China Status and BTCC Exchange and Chinese exchanges on: September 15, 2017, 09:45:50 AM
Really confused at the moment as I keep reading different things/rumours, is it temporary or permanent, Will exchanges will re-open after obtaining new license from government  Huh

There's no official statements from the china government, everything is just rumours so far  Angry

Or can someone point me on the official china government website of course google translated of crypto statements.

765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Clarification on China Status and BTCC Exchange and Chinese exchanges on: September 15, 2017, 09:39:19 AM
Ok when you guys will predict that Huobi or the next big china exchange will make an announcement to close its doors? I believe this will bring the next big dip to under $2k  Shocked
766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Clarification on China Status and BTCC Exchange and Chinese exchanges on: September 15, 2017, 09:35:36 AM
China is 30% of trading volumes.
That's the issue.

$3500 * 70% = $2,500... (maths are not correct, but "ballpark", it tells us that $2,800 is possible)

China brings around 30% volume to the markets correct? You sure its around that 30% figure as I have read and seen different figures.

So bitcoin price should drop further 30% correct?
767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Clarification on China Status and BTCC Exchange and Chinese exchanges on: September 14, 2017, 11:34:27 PM
Ok who's next to close its doors (temporarily, voluntarily or forced by government ban law)?:

- Huobi
- Bitfinex

Shall I assume the next closure will knock off a further around $1000 from bitcoin Shocked  ?

768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Clarification on China Status and BTCC Exchange and Chinese exchanges on: September 14, 2017, 11:30:26 PM
I think it's not a ban imposed by the government of China on ICOs but it's planning to make regulations and same is true for exchanges in China too, Chinese government has decided to introduce licencesing for exchanges. BTCC isn't going to shut down it's going to suspend trading from September 30 which I think can be resumed but this is all what I understood from reading a few post on social media. Also it's being said that China is doing it all to accumulate more bitcoins. There may be some truth in it I guess.

Ok but why BTCC temporary suspending trading from the end of september? Is it because of simply website maintenance?
769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Seeking Clarification on China Status and BTCC Exchange and Chinese exchanges on: September 14, 2017, 11:02:15 PM
Will BTCC exchange shut down voluntarily at the end of september or the china government shutting them down?

If voluntarily then why BTCC shutting down end of the september? Is it because they are 100% sure and know that in the future the china government will ban bitcoin exchanges?

Is BTCC the biggest bitcoin exchange in china? How many exchanges are there in china?

This shut down of 1 chinese exchange knocked off under $1000 value from bitcoin overnight.

If other chinese exchanges start shutting down one by one then does that mean further drops of $hundreds from bitcoin price? If so at this rate bitcoin will reach $0  Shocked

Without china bringing volume into crypto and bitcoin then how much you guys think bitcoin will bottom out at?
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cant believe a Tweet can cause $billions blood bath on: September 13, 2017, 05:42:32 PM
Ok when you guys think all this FUD will go away so bitcoin price will stabilise/recover?
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cant believe a Tweet can cause $billions blood bath on: September 13, 2017, 12:16:26 PM
How will the CEO of JP Morgan do an audit on his staff/employees to see whether his staff is dealing in bitcoin before firing them  Huh
772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cant believe a Tweet can cause $billions blood bath on: September 13, 2017, 12:09:45 PM
Ok to summarise:

We got some banker from JP Morgan with FUD

Charlie Lee Litecoin creator with FUD

China banning ICO's FUD

China banning exchanges FUD

Anything else I missed?

With all these different types of FUD's in a short space of time it does this seem like a coordinated attack on bitcoin. It cant be by coincidence that all these FUD's happen in a short space of time. Charlie Lee is for Cryptos unlike fiat bankers so don't understand his position  Huh

With Segwit 2x in november and if the motives of the above FUDer's were price manipulation then surely they should already know about november segwit 2x and that will bring the price down anyway. So why couldn't the above FUDers wait till november segwit 2x for cheap coins if the FUD's are really about price manipulation?

773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Cant believe a Tweet can cause $billions blood bath on: September 13, 2017, 08:54:37 AM
Has the china ban been confirmed yet by its government as I can't see anything?

These rumour tweets should be banned by Twitter as they can be false or incorrect.

When will this china ban FUD fade away?

If there really is a china ban then how long does it take for the chinese government to pass and implement this law?

Just to confirm its chinese exchanges only? Mostly all exchanges are online so does that mean chinese exchanges can bypass this ban law by moving their websites out of chinese servers onto western servers where the ban does not apply?
774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lighting Network and Segwit 2x newbie questions? on: September 12, 2017, 12:11:03 PM
Ok so there wont be no hard fork come november as segwit2x will be a soft fork instead?

775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest Me a Coin, And I'll Tell You What I Think on: September 10, 2017, 10:08:32 PM

Isnt the internet already decentralised? Nobody owns the internet now right i'm not understanding  Huh
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which Alt coins can I buy directly with Fiat? on: September 09, 2017, 11:31:28 PM
Apart from ethereum which Alt coins can I buy directly with fiat money especially in £GBP?

Does it work out to be cheaper if I buy bitcoin first to exchange for Alts or is it the same really?
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Alt Coins are not Triangle Pump & Dumps? on: September 09, 2017, 11:20:05 PM
SONM sound interesting so why it's dumping and no triangle pumps for it yet?
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Game: Revolutionizing In-Game Transactions / E-sports. Time to Buy. on: September 09, 2017, 11:37:19 AM
Price has dipped now because of that stupid china and bitcoin going down thing.

So factors like these can affect the growth of an altcoin no matter how good the news are on a altcoin?
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Breakout alert Iconomi @$5 ST target of $8-$9 value on: September 07, 2017, 10:18:50 PM
Iconomi price looks like it's bottomed out. Surely it cant go lower? Must be a pump for it soon right?
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Which Alt Coins are not Triangle Pump & Dumps? on: September 07, 2017, 10:14:11 PM
Which Alt Coins will survive in a decade out of several hundred alt coins on the market now? I assume the ones will survive are the ones that are useful.

Im looking for coins that dont have a history of triangle pump and dump charts. Looking for coins that has slow stable reliable growth charts with the obvious a few small dips here and there.
