Bitcoin opens up the gambling market for American players who can't play using their US Dollars  Cool

Not sure if it qualifies, but it definitely stimulates spending.

I don't see how you calculate it, but if that is the case, then you should seriously consider taking advantage of it.   Wink
1947  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | 1% House | Instant Betting on: May 25, 2013, 02:49:28 AM
What if someone had a botnet of say 500,000 pc's. Bitcoin is notorious for DDOS attacks, which origin from large botnets, and some of the botnets have 300-500,000 pcs or more. So what if someone pointed that artillery towards the sha?

Would it then be solvable in minutes/hours? Just asking a theoretical question.
1948  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bit777.com Casino | New Promo: 30% Refunds till Monday! | 50+ Casino Games on: May 25, 2013, 12:39:28 AM
Yes, dooglus.

Time: Thursday 9am EST - Sunday 11:59pm EST
1949  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bit777.com Casino | New Promo: 30% Refunds till Monday! | 50+ Casino Games on: May 24, 2013, 10:30:59 PM
Total Deposits minus (Account Balance + Total Withdrawals)

This accounts for the period of Thursday morning to Sunday 11.59pm. We will refund 30% of whatever net loss you might have during that period if you have any.

I hope that explains it.
1950  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bit777.com Casino | New Promo: 30% Refunds till Monday! | 50+ Casino Games on: May 24, 2013, 01:47:59 PM
Dooglus, yes we are aware of the concept. The issue is that we have 50 games and each has to get both its flash and server modified to submit and exchange extra values (the seeds and hashes). We have already arranged it, but it is a time consuming process that will take its toll. Truth be told, we came from the real money gambling world, and noone has ever heard of provably fair over there, so we came unprepared. In order to become competitive with the other establishments we WILL implement it, we will not have it any other way.

TradeFortress you will get your refund Monday morning. To address your mini QA session. Any casino, both online and land-based offers bonuses, go to Vegas and you will get $75 to play on slots, go to the Borgata in AC and you will get $25 for Blackjack. Same is for online casinos. Go to any online casino and you will see bonuses up to 2-300%. A good example would be: http://www.32red.com/ They are a publicly traded company on the London Stock Exchange and are highly regulated (and not rigged). They offer 32GBP deposit bonus on 10GBP, meaning 320%. So how is that non -EV for them? They look at the long-term play. Bonuses are only means to attract players. Every player has its cost or as it is called CPA (cost per acquisition). In 32red's case a player costs them 145GBP after all the bonuses and the affiliate commissions, and the average Net profit from a player they get is 472GBP. So they have close to 300% return on their acquisition investment for each player they bring. This varies on a per country basis, and the marketing channels used so it is not exact science. I am giving an example of how a negative EV for the casino is actually positive. This is the common practice in the gambling industry.

So in reality the question should be not why we are giving a bonus, but why no other bitcoin casino does it.  Cool

In the meantime, if anyone has any doubts of the integrity of the software, you can contact our software provider, or we can arrange it together, and review the software. They literally showcase it on a daily basis.

We have the best software, the most games, the largest experience in the field, the best bonuses, and the best CS. Once we have the provably fair so all you guys can sleep safe...why would anyone play anywhere else?  Wink
1951  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bit777.com Casino | New Promo: 30% Refunds till Monday! | 50+ Casino Games on: May 24, 2013, 03:33:10 AM
This one seems shady, would like to see provably fair.

We are working on that but it isn't as simple or fast as it sounds. We are preparing a major upgrade that will include provably fair and a few other important options. In the meantime, we welcome the idea of an expert from the forum to review our software, so we can put the "shady" assumption aside.

I assume we won't receive an answer.

To any players or competitors that read this: We are open to and will discuss any wrongdoing on our end if there is such.

We will not tolerate any false accusations by competing casinos.
1956  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinobit - LIVE ROULETTE - No Registration - FREE 0.01 BTC on: May 23, 2013, 04:05:06 PM
Hey CasinoBit, will you man up a little and address your own accusations?

Being ignorant only proves you know you are in the wrong.

If you can't back your own accusations, just don't do them! What a shame... where is your dignity?
1957  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinobit - LIVE ROULETTE - No Registration - FREE 0.01 BTC on: May 23, 2013, 01:24:51 PM
CasinoBit what you said is incredibly rude, offensive and full of undeserved hate towards us, and the very least you will have to do is give an explanation to the community and to us.

Note: We have not had ANY interaction with CasinoBit in the past, EVER. So the motives behind his comment are very unclear to us.
1958  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinobit - LIVE ROULETTE - No Registration - FREE BTC on: May 23, 2013, 04:19:04 AM
I gotta say though there are like NO players at the table that ever bet black/red, Even/odd or the 1-18/19-36. Theyre always betting individual numbers...I'm only 19 and never have been to a casino but it makes me wonder if people at casinos here don't usually bet the 50/50 ones in roulette as well.

Did you see this thread.  It's about how Bitcoin gamblers play differently than "real" gamblers, and might be related to your point.

I guess more Bitcoin users play to win rather than play for entertainment without giving it thought, winning a bet on black and doubling up your funds doesn't seem that hard. I also don't appreciate the link, wouldn't want to turn it into a discussion as it is simply my personal opinion rather than of the company I work for but the individual who has started that thread is nothing less than a thieving liar and I would avoid bumping his threads or giving him attention.

I would happily participate in that discussion if it was started by say, Erik Voorhees, or anyone else who is at least half credible in my books.

Still have not received the .04 btc and no transaction has shown up in my wallet as being unconfirmed. Can you please provide the tx link for it. Thanks

You can acquire the "out" transaction in history, I can assure you it is bound to appear and confirm, we have been paying out for some time.

Casinobit, didn't want to post on your thread, but can you explain on the basis of what grounds are you claiming "but the individual who has started that thread is nothing less than a thieving liar" ?
