If 90% of the pump cycle is manipulator, and 10% are suckers, and the same for the dump cycle, the result is not much profit for manipulator.

Surely some TA and Fibonacci numbers predicted this roller-coaster, right?

3x every year (or 10x every two years) increase is roughly a long-term multi-year trend, so far.

5900*3*3*3= 160k

But to avoid disappointment, I wouldn't hope for more than 2x every year.

5900*2*2*2= 47k

That's would be enough for me to retire in 2020 (or maybe 2021).
It could go flat at 50k, I don't mind.

The trend might hold in the short-term, like for the next 100 days.

As for the long-term... I wouldn't even try to guess. Too many things will happen.

Two datapoints are enough to define an exponent, so I chose two similar super-fast jumps over 3000 and 5000.

That translates into approx. 0.75% per day growth, and it might reach 9000 at the end of 2017:

Nah, "Russia ban" is out of the question. Putin was on TV just now, discussing cryptocurrencies, said "I'm aware of Central Bank's position" , but "it's important not to create too many barriers".

It will take a week or so, to reach the "normal" 4700-4800 range.
