Steam dropped bitcoin support citing "high volatility" as a motive. When amazon stock jumped from $18 to $1,200 over a period of years, was this high volatility a bad thing? If bitcoin's value increases from $6,000 to $16,000 over a period of months, and HODL'ers benefit, this high volatility is bad? Where does the idea of high volatility being an unnecessary evil come from? Are there good arguments or evidence which support the concept of high volatility being a negative circumstance? In a sense, volatility simply means the price of something moves a lot, its not that bad if the vast majority of motion is in an upward direction? Stocks from a company and Bitcoin has different purposes. The bitcoin it's meant to be used to make payments and be spent, considering this, a high volatility can be a problem, but, this is just my opinion. |

I've just sold out. The fees are absolutely ridiculous and it is going to kill Bitcoin. Bitcoin cash is better and the only thing keeping Bitcoin alive is the people that love it just too much.
Bitcoin needs fixing real fast, because it's already too late.
If your intentions it was to just keep holding, then you don't needed to get concerned about bitcoin fees to the point of selling it all. |

Bitcoin has gone down from $19000 to $16000 which is a drop of $3000 . This couldn't happen without a reason and the reason for the dump is the pump of BTC. Coinbase announced the support of Bitcoin Cash and as soon as this happened the founder of the largest Bitcoin site announced that he has sold all his BTC and have exchanged them for BCH. Coincedently this guy happens to be a good friend of Roger Ver who is the owner of Bitcoin Cash. This couldn't be a coincedence but a well planned strategy for another pump and dump. As the pump which was done a month back this one seems to be carrying out pretty well as BTC has gone down and BCH has spiked up all of a sudden.
Yeah, sure. The saddest thing in this whole history is to get another proof of how much bitcoin price is subjected to decision of some few people. |
