121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: January 18, 2023, 07:41:16 AM
I don't see any boring part of seeing your money grow. without having any effort like sitting? People that I've known want to have passive income like business and they are working hard so sitting on the couch and seeing your bitcoin holdings grow overtime is good. But it takes time unlike trading when you can win a certain amount on that day or week unlike holding takes years before you can see that you gain profit. but again it depends on the person since my self I prefer both so I do allocate money to both.
Most of the investors haven't come into cryptocurrency see it for a space to come and make money then leave. That's just it, you come in, accumulate as you want and walk away. Only to come back when ever your ready to accumulate some more and leave.

Well, there are sides to this even. Given that, what is given is taken from someone or some place else. Its why we've got Aak and Bid in our orders. Depending on the market situation, one might make profit from being in either position  from time to time.

Trading and hodling offers different advantages or securities.
In trading, you get to operate on a high level of risk to reward ratio. You find yourself putting out more which could always take either ways in either profit or lose bit, this occurs more frequently and so, you've got some real chance of doubling or been robbed of your portfolio in the shortest possible time.
When it's got to do with hodling, the dynamics to doubling comes with the time you put in and even might not be commensurate with the wait time in years. One thing remains for sure and that is, profit but, its coin specific though. Bitcoin remains the most recommended for hoding if you may. DYOR.

If you win a trade and earn a profit for sure there are trader around the world that lost it. That is really the life in trading if you win someone should lose if you lose someone should win it is the cycle and it never breaks that is why it is only rare who can earn a lot of profit in trading that is why others tend to walkway once the get enough profit for the day or for the month. On the other hand, holding is also great as long as you can control your emotion and less effort but again having control of your emotions are difficult so you should be prepared.
That's how trading is that we can't keep making profits because there will be times when we lose,
trading is also not that easy because it requires preparation,
in holding self-control or controlling emotions is so important and indeed it is difficult to practice.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich Mindset vs Poor Mindset : 6 key differences on: January 17, 2023, 08:40:48 AM
In general, the thoughts of rich people are always positive and always ready to lose their capital, always ready to gamble or sacrifice the money they will use.

They always dream big for their family and other reasons, and "They always think Big, Big Dreams, always dare to fail, and So on". That's how they think they take whatever it takes not just doing all their best only.
It's true that the mindset of the rich is more or less like that and the mindset of the poor will be different,
Environmental factors also influence the formation of mindset,
those rich people will think how to double their money and be ready for risks.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I be worried? on: January 16, 2023, 08:11:16 AM
Yes, A.I-based crypto projects seem too early to be used as projects that we use as investments. I don't know what it looks like and what those projects offer. For this Metaverse, we still have to wait while the project has not received a response from many investors or the project team is still working and ensuring that Metaverse can benefit its users.

We'll see what the next trend is, and if these A.I-based projects can get a good response from investors, there's a possibility that those projects will grow even more in the future. Right now, we should focus on the state of the market because the market is now better than before.
It seems so especially for now investors are focusing on the Metaverse project,
so AI-based projects may not get as much attention,
let's hope because honestly I hope AI-based projects get a good response and support.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: January 15, 2023, 11:55:23 AM
I recently made some money through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, and I'm considering using it to purchase some Bitcoin. Only a tiny sum, roughly $800, is involved. What do you suggest doing right now? Purchase some Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency with a promising future.

What replacement coins would you recommend?
In my opinion, investing in Bitcoin and altcoins is still very feasible in 2023, especially if you started last year and see for sure that you have already made a profit from Bitcoin,
but for altcoins if you want to invest there, make sure you really analyze from a fundamental point of view, because altcoins are really very prone to being scammed,
there have been lots of cases like FTT, SOL, CEL and a few more coins, so be careful.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Every passing year seems progressively worse on: January 15, 2023, 04:22:47 AM
We're now entering 2023, and things aren't looking any better. Inflation keeps worsening, energy and oil prices are extremely volatile, while in our case in Greece and Italy, despite MWH being the cheapest it has been since the invasion, we're holding the record for the most expensive energy prices.

On top of that, a few days before 2023, half of the U.S.A. is suffering a terrible blizzard, with temperatures even reaching as low as -50C. Climate change is real, and it's only going to get worse in the following years.

I'm not sure if everything has gone downhill in the past few years or if I'm overexaggerating and making it sound worse than it really is. Perhaps my sitting all alone in my bed on New Year's Eve isn't helping.

Anyway, happy new year to everyone and good luck on your bitcoin endeavors!
I witness it occurring. Decade after decade, year after year. People become more reliant on technology as society develops through technological advancement dehumanized.
Being born in 1970 and having spent my formative years in the 1970s, the best decade ever, makes me very thankful.
Even the 1980s weren't all that horrible. However, things have only gotten worse since then.
we love technology so much - but this technology especially the smartphone has changed the lives of people altogether.
most of the time - my mother gets so much lost in phone that I quietly leave the room. It is not only the kids who are being affected - its equally affecting adults as well.
This is ironic, of course, because it is we who make technology, but we are actually enslaved,
Whatever the technology, there will always be positive and negative sides,
so we as humans must be wise in using it.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 15, 2023, 04:06:05 AM
Have you checked your BNB right now? I hope you didn't sell yet after two days because right now the price of BNB is better.

BNB is one of the top altcoins, even if there's a fud I still see its future on a good side and with that I'm also planning to increase my holdings even on its current price because this is not a bull run yet and we might see a better price in the next few months.

Don't sold if you don't need the money, there's no better NFTs compare to BNB, I'll still choose it over the other project.
This is the point, if you are worried about the prices and all that, and suddenly the price changes in a much better way, you would regret it. This is why I am a long term investor because having time on my side would mean that I get to do whatever I want to do and not really have to worry about anything at all.

Too many people are worried about the situation we are in and that's a bad thing because we shouldn't really worry about a bear market, we should be hyped about it. You get to buy cheap, and in days like this you get to make a profit and in the end it's going to be even higher when the time comes. This is why it's such an important thing.
I've found out that the more we check on the market price and our portfolio, the more it affects our mindset and even influences our decisions which commonly results in worries. That is why I become seldom check during the bear season and it is because I was confident that I'm investing the right coins. In fact, BNB is still in the top 5 coins in the market which mean that even if the market will drop more, the chance is high to recover as well. Holding them until the bull season comes is not regretting but surely a big reward awaits us.
The market have experienced big recovery. None is sure, whether it is the beginning of the bill run or it is just the bull trap. However the price increase have happened good with the altcoins along with bitcoin. Holding BNB seems to be the right choice. Myself too missed selling all my BNB few months back. If I'm not wrong BNB is one of the coin that is being much manipulated, so watching the market is a must to make the right move.
It's true that we can easily see that when the price of Bitcoin slowly rises, it is also followed by the prices of other altcoins which are also rising, such as Ethereum and BNB,
I think we have to stay abreast of developments because we don't know if the recovery will be long or short.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coin caused Solana price to rise by 40% in a week on: January 14, 2023, 06:06:53 PM
Recently a meme coin was launched on Solana network which got a lot of hype. As a result, Solana prices are about 40% up in last one week. Do you think this is good thing or bad thing for solana ? Just a meme coin causing this boost instead of some solid news like good partnerships or adoption in some company.
in my opinion the meme coins on the solana network are only manipulated by whales or called pump and dump,
it is very high risk if you believe and buy meme coins in a market situation like this,
don't trust meme coins other than doge and shiba because you can lose your money there.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: According To me Ethereum Looks Weak on: January 14, 2023, 08:39:09 AM
Ethereum is now looking so bullish. Some weeks ago there was chance to down Ethereum to 800$ and I was waiting for it but market turned into bullish and now it's price above 1300$ which is plus point fir this who already took entry. Ethereum Usecase is high and after every dump big whales will accumulate it in big quantity.
this is right, ethereum is among some coins that's gonna get bagholded by the whales even if it lost its value, there are simply too many quality token running in this platform that I doubt it could someday failing, of course there always possibility for that but I think ethereum will be far from that, if there's bullrun, ethereum will show its tremendous potential like btc, so I think it's still good investment even with all these TA that shows ethereum weak.

Ethereum network is one of the remaining quality and solid networks out there.
So as we have seen, even at its bearish position, many investors were trying to accumulate this project.
And as we have seen right now, as btc goes up, ETH also goes up.
So I don't think the target of 500-700 USD by the OP will still happen for ETH.
It seems that we will be surpassing the 20k mark for btc, and so with ETH, it will go up more than $1500 very soon.
Indeed, with the price of Bitcoin slowly starting to rise it will also affect the price of Ethereum,
when Bitcoin is back up i think the bearish will end but we never know what will happen next,
just follow the development so that it is clearer.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 13, 2023, 09:49:19 AM
If you have some spare money with you that can cover up your expenses, better to hold it for a while because right now the price is too low for BNB and other altcoins. Since we our in a fresh year, better to consider observing the crypto market first in the first few months before you decide. After all, you only got it from Airdrops which is really a win-win situation for you.
Yes, I think that is a good suggestion because in making a decision we must really consider it carefully first,
that is why it is necessary to observe the market first,
but it all depends on you because again the decision is in the hands of each.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans are once again quitting their jobs at a growing rate on: January 12, 2023, 06:52:26 AM
I wonder why people are quitting their jobs? I know the most reason would be due to low salary, but how can they survive if they're not working? I think any people will accept any jobs even though how low the salary is, rather than become unemployed and doesn't earn anything. So IMO, they've already find a job that paid very well in private, which is like a programmer where they got paid with Bitcoin and they have a chance to publish it, so the government think they're not working, but the truth they're working in their home.

Yes I never understood this either. I think what is happening they are quitting bad jobs like at McDonald’s and basically staying unemployed until they find something better.

Most likely their friends had a bad job, at min wage and they looked for another job which was more fun and higher pay and they told all their friends about it and they also quit. And this is most likely all these min wage jobs that nobody wants to work because they are over difficult.
Right. Those jobs who need more effort and hardwork are instead the low paying jobs so expect that employees will never stay and work for them for long. They will really quit and will look for better jobs that they will be satisfied with the compensation. Also, these employees might be quitting because there are more online jobs right now that are offering bigger salaries by just working remotely, and these jobs do not require more heavy works but more on good analysis and thinking.
That's the reality and I think in the current era, jobs that rely on the physical pay lower than jobs that rely on the brain,
sometimes seeing like that feels unfair but we also can't do anything,
Online jobs are currently very popular besides that the salary is also big.
131  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much uncertanity here it got be more sure here what i say on: January 11, 2023, 08:33:03 AM
Uncertainty is one of the things that comes before our analysis, when we are doing analysis of bitcoin or any other crypto, it is not good to even watch the news because it will interfere with our analysis, and that is not a good thing because we let ourselves go. Due to informations that are not so good at the same time, this means that uncertainty is a feeling that must be overcome with a lot of theory, with sufficient security and knowing how to forecast what may come, taking into account the great fundamentals that exist in the market. and what can occur in the world at any given moment, these things are what make the difference that a bearish or bullish market can generate.
With bad news coming when you've got a lot of things that are already planned to look after the market, that will affect us based on the emotion that we've got.
And when our emotions are affected, our decision-making will also be affected. What's much worse is when we're already not sure if our confidence is there. When someone has come to that point, you better leave the market temporarily as you know what might happen with your potential trades.
In such conditions it is of course very important to have self-control and not everyone has that,
when filled with emotion it will make decisions not right and in the end we will lose,
maybe temporarily leaving the market is at least a better option.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid running into financial ruin this Christmas! on: January 10, 2023, 07:09:30 AM
So while having a good time with friends, family and loved ones during this festive season, please remember that January, with all its bills is around the corner.

A very merry Christmas everyone!!!

Had the worst Christmas in 30 years last year. 2 days before Christmas I got covid and had to stay home alone over the holidays. My parents are already old and I didn't want to risk them getting infected. While the whole holidays were kind of sad and lonely, watching bad movies online and eating canned food, it also had some advantages. I didn't have to give any presents to my family and will probably now keep them for this year. Giving presents a few weeks after Christmas seems wrong and like that I already have all the birthday presents for a whole tear. The second good thing is that I didn't gain any weight over Christmas, had almost no food at home and no sweets or biscuits. So financially this was a very good Christmas and I am not so worried about the bills coming in now.
that is so say to learn - hope you are feeling better.
The Covid and the cough has made the life miserable for the people. Even there is mild Covid we all are experiencing during this winter.
May God keep us safe during the  toughest time.
We are in winter and everywhere is cold and there are chances that this is the best time for COVID-19 to be easily spread even when the government had put in efforts to eradicate the COVID-19 virus finally. We need to stay safe and prevent ourselves from danger so that we will not be a victim of something that would take our lives.

Not joining parties can really save your life, and having your own small party can also save you and your wallet. Though COVID is not rampant right now as we are almost all vaccinated, we should not take it for granted because it can really spread easily. A small gathering, such as with nearby relatives or just your family, is preferable than those big parties. Though, due to the recession, the prices of food and items are still high, so it's best to save or only spend a few dollars as it's just a simple celebration.
Party events certainly require a lot of money so not having one is a good thing,
because that way at least what you should spend a lot of money on doesn't happen and can be diverted to other things that are more important,
what is clear is that all of these are choices so everyone has the right to make their own decisions.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best altcoin to look out for on: January 09, 2023, 08:56:55 AM
Well for me the best altcoin to look out for in 2023 is Ethereum and Cardano. I hodl some of each but most important I believe in Ethereum for the dapps and I am waiting for Cardano to release the new stable coin Djed.
I think Ethereum has some real chances of a big opportunity for profit for its holders. It is still number 2 on coinmarketcap with close to $153 billion marketcap and I think after this 'bear market' becomes to a end that we will get to experience great gains along with Bitcoin.
Both ethereum and cardano are good coins, and it is possible we could get to witness some sort of recovery during this year, but in my opinion the recovery will be on the low side, as there are many people that are desperate and that will sell their coins at the first sign of a recovery.

For this reason it is important to keep our expectations in check and think of this year as a transition year, in which we move away from the bear market and we get closer to the bull market as the halving is coming during the next year.
It's important not to have too high expectations because we have to realize that in transition we have to be patient,
the bear market is likely to continue and so better take advantage of this time to collect potential coins,
what is clear is that recovery will not go quickly so stay tuned for what will happen later.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network mining on: January 08, 2023, 02:58:54 PM
Lately it seems that Pi network is growing day by day.  Who can touch Bitcoin on the Pi network?  Many say that the Pi Network will overtake Bitcoin.  I had a bit of a laugh when I heard about the Bitcoin leak.  Bitcoin is the number one coin in cryptocurrency.  I don't think comparing any coin to Bitcoin is anything but silly.  But what is your opinion?  If anyone has an idea about pi network, please let me know.
PI Netwoerk is phenomenal if you head over to Coinmarketcap and search for PI then you will understand how this coin has become amazing now, from $5 maybe at initial launch to $300 in early 2023,
yes since Pi Network listing on Huobi this coin has become a lot of enthusiasts , considering that many people have also mined the Pi Network long ago,
yes, there is no doubt about the fundamentals of the Pi Network being very good, the future of the Pi coin is still long.
135  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: January 08, 2023, 03:28:12 AM
People has a different mind set not all the poor people is not interested about investing on bitcoin there are also poor people that wanted to invest into it but the budget is very few and not enough for investing, so they choose not to do investing.

I have met these cases, honestly, no one wants to be poor forever and the poor know that working alone is not enough to get out of poverty, they need to invest and take risks. But looking back at their circumstances, that doesn't allow them to do that. Even if you don't have enough to eat, how do you invest? We are not them, we are not in their position, so we cannot blame them when they do not innovate, and do not take risks to find opportunities for themselves. Some dreams will never come true.
That's right all poor people certainly don't want conditions like that to happen forever to them,
but it's not that easy to get out of the cycle of poverty,
Most people are either poor in knowledge or skills and they are also limited in such a way that makes it even more difficult
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Excessive greed is detrimental to investment on: January 08, 2023, 03:09:52 AM
My Investment Portfolio

Will the market go to the previous position?

I see Vulcan Forged on your investment list where this token has lost over 90% from its last ATH. Many coins can come back or make it to the latest ATH but many more end up being worthless at all, and PYR will most likely not touch its last ATH.
This is a valuable lesson that many projects are only good at the beginning with all the promises but don't have the ability to survive, if you don't have a problem with losses then you can sell it now as long as this coin still has value because this coin might not go anywhere but die slowly and make you get nothing, but the decision must come from yourself and consider many things.

There is no way of being sure that the PYR token will never go back to the old ATH, no one can predict the future, no one can tell us what will happen in the future. OP's mistake of not taking profit when it is profitable and over-investing in altcoins, this is a lesson for all of us. If OP's portfolio is bitcoin, then even if he doesn't sell them at ATH, there's nothing to worry about. Regarding my prediction on the above 3 projects, I am interested in PYR, I believe it is the project that will have the ability to recover the 3 tokens that OP is holding.
Yes the possibility will always exist and we know for ourselves that in crypto anything can happen,
looks like you have high hopes on PYR but anyway we need to see developments over time,
Of course, we never know what will happen next
137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading With Borrowed Funds!!! on: January 07, 2023, 07:37:51 PM
It is true that some people have become rich through crypto trading in the recent times. But considering the high risk involved in trading, do you think it's proper/wise to trade with borrowed funds as your capital irrespective of your trading experience?
trading with borrowed money is an act that is not wise and very stupid, healthy trading is by using cold money because market situations will always change,
you cannot get profits continuously and you can even experience large losses, just imagine your capital runs out even though it was from a loan, then how can you pay it off?
Yes, avoid that and don't do that!.
138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am Bullish On Bitcoin Despite Bear market on: January 07, 2023, 04:49:18 PM
Long-term investors are generally optimistic about the market and know that now is the best time to buy at low prices. The bear market is an inevitable cycle in the encryption market. Bitcoin still has strong market support, and the price will increase when it enters the bull market again.

Yes, and not only with respect to Bitcoin. I invest in the US stock market as well, and instead of thinking that it's a shame that it's gone down, what I do is take advantage of it to buy cheap. If the asset you buy is top quality, it always goes up in the long run. Times like this are good to buy on sale.
it is very difficult to predict the market when the market is indeed bearish, moreover we all know that bearishness in cryptocurrencies is far more terrible than others,
I myself also trade and always experience failure, yes pump and dump always occur in the crypto market last year , and let's hope that 2023 is the start of a bull market.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: January 07, 2023, 02:45:52 PM
the bear market is not over buddy , if you can still load your bags , of course you can , but be careful to choose what you want to buy , because at this time the market is worse than last year
we are still in january and there is a possibility that investors will also return to crypto currency again,
it's just that we don't know what else is the trend that will come in this crypto currency world,
after last year's metaverse and play to earn became a trend maybe AI coin of the year this will also be a new trend,
yes my prediction is more inclined to AI or maybe watch to earn.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: January 07, 2023, 10:03:26 AM
for novice investors to see a bear market is something terrible but for investors who have been in crypto for a long time to see a bear market is something normal, or even they see this bear market like a diamond because they can buy at a low price. I agree with you and we shouldn't worry too much about this problem because market conditions will definitely recover when the time comes. The most important thing is that right now we are focused on increasing the amount of investment because in 2024 we will see something very big and we have never seen it before.
even though i'm not sure whether 2024 will be bullish but current bearish will definitely have its end, eventually trend changes and the ones that accumulates gets the most out of it but honestly there's never any guarantee that the cycle will just keeps repeating, there's certainly some risk in doing some accumulation like the market goes even lower, etc. but if you have made right decision once to accumulate and bullish turns out to be coming for real you gonna be grateful of your decision.
It is clear that it will not be bearish forever but indeed we never know when bullish will come for sure.
and if you look at the trend so far it looks like the bearish will continue,
but even so we need to stay calm and can only hope for the best
