I wonder why some people never get tired of being scammed by those smart guys. If a project is focusing on sales and promising a lot, then it could be a scam one. Trust the one with product and dont bother about sales but talk about development. The bear market is one way to test crypto projects stability on how will they survive during this type of situation. This industry really needs cleansing, what will be left are probably the gems.

Today still bitcoin price is $6800 i think this is good cheap price for everyone bitcoin holders so don't be confused about bitcoin price. Personally i am fine because if you want see back to back 2017 then you can understand this price good or bad. So i keep hold already and i recommend everyone you should keep hold long time this will be better.
I personally would also prefer to hold and not be in a hurry in making a decision and maybe when the price is very low this is the right time to buy bitcoin and hold it for quite a long time. I just want to ask, how did you got that BTC and ETH? Did you bought it from your fiat money or someone gave it to you? I am just wondering if you started from smaller amount then you came up with that amount then I suggest that you'll just continue doing that first then wait for the right moment to Invest. Why do you need to wait? If you can invest while doing your own research about investment. If you have invested today it might be a good opportunity for you because if ever the price increase at the end of December you already earn income and if you keep on waiting until the December end maybe you will regret once the price goes up. No reason to buy more, I’ve had have enough of it and probably could last on my wallet wallet 10 years or probably some could stay here forever. Nothing is more exciting to buy now, I’m more cautious in investing now thats its hard to cover losses.

Hi everyone im new to investing in crypto.
I have informed myself quiet a bit in the last weeks and constructed a portfolio with 10 coins / tokens.
Since most coins are way under their average worth i bet on a big rise at least to their old average or maybe to their last ATH.
This would be the portfolio:
1. Bitcoin
2. Ethereum
3. Ripple
4. LiteCoin
5. Cardano
6. IOTA
7. TEZOS
8. ChainLink
For the last 2 Coins to complete the portfolio i need your help.
I thought about those coins:
1. EOS (because China)
2. TRON (because China)
3. Waves (Russia)
4. VeChain
5. Steem (Very low atm compared to average / ATH)
6. Energi
Since i only want to include 10 cryptos for reasons of simplicity i dont want to inlcude them all.
I am not a day trader. I want to hold the coins wait for old ATH or new ATHs and then sell.
I am really interested in your opinion. Thanks in advance.
Tron, Eos and waves I think is a good choice for you to put in your portfolio and also for now maybe you can observe BNB or maybe you will only choose two of the few coins that you say to choose. For me maybe you can spend a little time observing some of these coins and then you make a decision which is right for you or you could say which coins have more potential than others. |

Those are the strategy that they are making, they want to look it legit when their purpose is just to scam.
however, I won't agree with you that all crypto are scam because there are still few that survives until now which they get the people's trust and support.
Take it for example, Binance coin, IIRC, they also had an ICO following the same scenario you've mentioned, but where they are now, they have a real used case of their project, their exchange is very popular and we using it now and benefiting from it.
Yes not all crypto are scam, new projects are most likely to become a scam. Saying a good project on day 1 is too risky, you must test the water first for you not to lose big. If the project extended so many times and keep on promising, then its a scam. There’s a lot of established crypto already and to make money with them is very easy so its not a scam not unless you are fooled and be a victim of scammers. The number of new projects that become scams I think makes investors hesitate to invest and then make other projects fail because of not achieving softcap which then makes many people that all projects are scams, I think this is normal. Because many scam projects then make people think that way, and for now I don't want to invest in a new project, it's better to invest in the top coins first. |

Daily many projects are brought into the market with different ideas and background.
But the question is what makes these projects to perform well in the market. No doubt good technical support is too necessary to lead the project towards success, but even with good technical support and marketing many projects can't survive.
So what matters these days is financial backup or financial support. Before entering the market a project (or ICO) should have enough financial support to compete in the market even in worst conditions.
It's my own analysis so far in this altcoin market.

Of course funding is one of the important factors to be able to run a project, without project funding it can not run at all and will have obstacles to develop the project.
