261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you know Bitcoin (BTC) is now a new economic class? on: November 27, 2019, 09:20:56 PM
I don't get it. From my understanding, an economic class is the same as a social-economic class, so it would be people who lead similar lives, money-wise, being grouped together. So example, higher-class, working-class, etc.

How does bitcoin become a new economic class? It's not directly related to this, and even though people can definitely get rich off it, wouldn't it be classified as high-class?

GEN y is definitely pretty untrusting of the regular way things are done, and most of them are looking at bitcoin and other options for their disposable income.
This is true, whatever the way the earning has been made doesn't seem to make a new class of people. Based on what they have people are grouped. This in terms of money termed upper class, middle class and lower class. Here the economic class is a new name given to the middle class cryptocurrency users because those are the most important people contributing in large number and the one to prefer economy class seats on aircrafts.  Wink
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Thinking of Bitcoin Blockchain Accessible Without Internet on: November 27, 2019, 08:56:23 PM
As suggested transacting through satellite is the only possible solution. Here too there will be complications and limitations which could cause some problems. Thinking of advancement is good, but this should help with the betterment of the network and should not make people start searching for other things. To make transactions through satellites more effective it is good to launch satellites completely dedicated for bitcoin network.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy altcoin? on: November 25, 2019, 10:06:57 PM
For users who make their buying based on luck or upon some random pick it is the right moment to buy. Also it is the good time to buy coins that aren't much popular but has got good trading volume. As more than 90% of the cryptocurrencies were in downtrend surely we'll get profit if we have the patience to hold. This makes it more of a time to invest than selling.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So many altcoins on: November 23, 2019, 08:20:19 AM
I'm thinking something, without so many new alts we wouldn't have fun, don't you think so? Now everyone is free to create alt, its easy, even easier if you plan to create some token. People do it all the time, and most of them do that just to scam people, but I like to believe in hidden gems, alts with real meaning and future purpose. This market is getting shaped all this years and that process will last for years, we have many alts, and I believe we will see many more of them in the future.
Agreed, more and more altcoins with realtime usage will reach the market over the falling years. Same as mentioned very few altcoins come with minimum viable product, while majority ico project gets tokenised. This is where projects go as a scam, because without any backing the investment is being requested. Further they can't give any updates on the project.
265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: November 23, 2019, 06:02:24 AM
If its a bear market, dont expect the price to change a lot in a day or price will not move enough that could give you profits thats why day trading is not advisable on this kind of market condition. Long hold and patience is what you need. Dont listen  to those who give out signals, they are just helping themselves and not the others as they already bought ahead of you before they made an announcement.
Whether it is bearish or bullish there won't be big change experienced which is the reality. There will be continued fluctuation out of the market. Long term profiting will be for users who wants their investments to be secure and doesn't want to take risk. Daily trading has got risk, but if we try we can somehow have a better understanding about the market and gain regularly.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxless society idea on: November 23, 2019, 03:43:43 AM
I think the idea is valid but in my view taxes are a necessary evil for the welfare of society. Unfortunately today a lot of mismanagement and amateurism in managing this money.
What's been mentioned is all about the need and the errors that cause the taxation go entirely wrong and not beneficial to the common people. Very few countries does the taxation in a perfect way keeping the common people in mind. Through our blockchain technology the taxless society idea can be made to be effective and functional. For this the benefits needs to be directly send to the people eliminating the intermediary governments who just eat up everything.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did China really crash Bitcoin again? on: November 23, 2019, 01:57:38 AM
Just because there happened something against cryptocurrency people simply relate the market crash or the growth with the same. Here too same seems to be the situation. As of now there is no big news apart from the news coming out of China. I don't completely deny China doesn't have any role in it, what is happening is a combined impact of China's play and the regular pattern of growth.
268  Economy / Speculation / Re: trump is the cause of drop prices bitcoin on: November 22, 2019, 08:47:34 PM
Trump can influence the growth of bitcoin and this can be done to certain limits. This limitations were completely upon the effective speculation that happens relative to bitcoin. Till date it is impossible to give a precise explanation of growth relating to particular incident that happens by that moment. No, everytime whether it is growth or crash it'll be related with something that happens in the market. It is possible to speculate Trump as the reason and drive the market, but from my learning this time he isn't the reason for any form of trend.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening with ETHEREUM Now? on: November 22, 2019, 08:02:04 PM
Today ETH price dropped down to around 150$ and that's a discouraging sign for the newcomers surely. I see that the BTC price decreased too, and the whole crypto market is still struggling right now. Despite that fact, I am still holding ETH because I believe that this currency will recover again and it will be more valuable in the future.
Without doubt it'll turn to be more valuable, because it has shown such a high level of growth in the past compared to rest of the altcoins. If it hasn't got the potential it can't be reached. The market has experienced a crash, so is the ethereum. This has fallen low to $150, and now there is small percentage growth taking the price above $150. Though there is more special things to happen leading to growth there is panic among people to invest. People who don't think of anything keep on investing as it seems to be the right occasion.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: November 22, 2019, 06:11:58 PM
Is not with a flushed market like this a good opportunity for us to buy bitcoin or other altcoin at a cheap price?

It's time to buy bitcoin ahead of halving day later, as traders we have to take this good opportunity to hold bitcoin,
Indeed, when the market is in a bearish trend, investments in promising cryptocurrencies at low prices are very profitable.  But over the past year and a half, the cryptocurrency market has changed very much and those cryptocurrencies that were considered profitable today show very poor results and their prospects are already very doubtful.  And if we take into account the fact that there has been a general decline in the cryptocurrency market, it is very difficult and even risky to choose something promising for investment, since there is no difference between good and bad coins.
Countdowns too have begun for the halving. This means the expectation keeps going higher and higher. Lucky ones might have sold above $8500 and now it is a very big opportunity to make a buying with a huge price difference from the price of selling. Also for regular trading people the market crashing down to this margin isn't a big thing as they continue to make profit out of the fluctuations. If we think it is a bad day, then we can't change it. Same is the reality if we think the day to be good.
271  Economy / Economics / Re: Fidelity wins bitcoin trading and custody licence in New York on: November 22, 2019, 04:29:46 PM
Below is the official link of the news

https://www.fidelitydigitalassets.com/news-perspectives

Fidelity international sets up a subsidiary company to foray into crypto market known as "Fidelity Digital Assets" and the NY license is granted to them!

While it's a good news in general, but their business is open for only institutional investors and not common people like you and I.
The service is very limited. This means it is like private sale that's been done when new projects reach the market. Anyhow this is a big step forward from an financial service rendering firm. As a beginning to the cryptocurrency usage it could've started with the Fidelity Digital Assets and providing access to institutional investors. As days pass it will give way to small scale investment.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be possible to use Cryptocurrencies in China? on: November 21, 2019, 03:09:58 PM
Recently, I heard that China banned holding cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency transactions, so does that mean that having cryptocurrency in China would be a criminal offense? Moreover, why create such a ban in the first place?

As i know China does not ban cryptocurrencies. You can still buy, sell and trade them. However they are no longer allow cryptocurrencies mining companies in their country anymore because they cause problems with the electricity.
More controversial talks were happening with the usage of bitcoin in China. Already China has the alipay and other digital payment processors which is much preferred than the real cash. China hasn't restricted the usage with strict regulations as Bangladesh or other countries does. This paves the way for better usage of bitcoin based on the users self interest.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best time for promoting bounty projects on: November 21, 2019, 01:46:12 PM
Promoting bounty projects happens unlike the market trend. As the market gets to see more and more projects regularly there is very thought fight to get the investment. Most successful time to promote bounty projects seems to be the bullish market, because by that time venture capitalists show much interest to invest on different projects to get the profit at the shortest.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters do not need to wait for altcoin season on: November 21, 2019, 01:10:34 PM
Bounty hunting is one of the best way to earn, but this doesn't gives assured earning because one in five projects distribute the tokens for the participants while majority just leave the bounty participants empty handed. Altcoin season hasn't begun, lucky bounty hunters too benefit good by the time of altcoin season. Waiting for altcoin season isn't the fair decision, good is to invest by now as it serves to be the time for large scale investment.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble only with Bitcoin and do you have other favorite alt-coin? on: November 21, 2019, 11:53:16 AM
My favorite coin in playing gambling is doge coins, sometimes I also use ethereum to play gambling. I once gamble using Bitcoin but not often because usually if lost I will feel sorry to have lost my bitcoins, because bitcoin is very expensive. So play the most fun gambling ie by using doge coins because it is quite cheap and affordable.
agree with your opinion, do not use Bitcoin to gamble because the price is expensive and also the fee is expensive to send to the gambling platform. which is still my mainstay when gambling is cheap doge and fast delivery to the gambling platform so when you want to play do not wait long.
Most users feel the same when it comes to gambling, if we've kept everything within the inbuilt wallet there is no need for additional fee when we go for betting. This way I get into gambling unlike the cryptocurrency. There is nothing as favourite, but my most spending will be in terms of bitcoin, ethereum and xrp.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any countries that accept cryptos as an actual method of payment? on: November 21, 2019, 11:06:41 AM
Long back when Zimbabwean currency experienced inflation people started to move to bitcoin for all form of business transactions. By then there were more suggestions from financial experts to adopt the bitcoin as the primary asset for usage. Zimbabwe didn't reacted and over few months of time it opposed cryptocurrency usage.

If Zimbabwe have adopted now it should have got recovered out of the inflation experienced. Recently Venezuela took initiative, but the implementation isn't that effective.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is the richest person? on: November 21, 2019, 09:28:29 AM
With the recent agreement with Pentagon Microsoft owner Bill Gates have become the richest person making Jeff Bezos to go second. Amazon has gone for a law suit on the same agreement between Microsoft and Pentagon. This list is in terms of money and properties they own.

True rich person is the one who gets regular food, dresses to wear, a shelter to live. Human mind won't get satisfied with this which is why everyone run for money.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be Gift of Santa Claus in this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers? on: November 21, 2019, 08:43:20 AM
Now, I think the last 1 year is not good for the BTC hodlers. So, I just ask Gift of Santa Claus this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers?
Last year I was away from hometown, and this time I'll be enjoying Christmas with my family and friends. Every year Santa used to give good price pumping by the last days of the year. Hoping for the same, and expecting some miracle to happen. The miracle is someone gifting me in the form of bitcoin. One of my friend has received Christmas gift in the form of bitcoin years back.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What will be the alternate plan - second option on: November 21, 2019, 08:04:51 AM
There is big expectation among each and every cryptocurrency investor regarding the year 2020. We don't know what we gonna experience precisely, all that's been made is out of comparisons and price predictions with several references and related positive and negative news around.

By 2020 if the market doesn't move as most of the experts predicted and experience to move in the opposite direction. What is the alternate plan or the second option you've kept prepared to minimize the loss and keep up the value almost same on the portfolio.

By those instance what will be the choice of selection. Over which cryptocurrencies you'll plan to move your investments. I personally haven't got much of holding, if something happens against prediction only way is to move towards stablecoins.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favorite kind of lottery? on: November 21, 2019, 07:58:22 AM
I haven't used to buy lottery, from the thread only got to know much about the active and passive forms of lottery. I prefer passive lottery, because I don't know to make calculations and buy lotteries. Few of my friends used to buy lottery, and from them got to know about it, they make calculations on the ticket number and buy it. One of my friend at times used to travel 25kms to buy lottery. When it comes to the price we've got lottery starting from value less than a dollar.
