202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: June 21, 2018, 03:11:51 PM
Electroneum is not a scam project. The project has since been proved a success. It is trading in many exchanges today and holders and intending holders are exchanging their coins without stress.

This does not make sense. Being listed in exchanges does not mean anything apart from the fact that you can buy and sell. You should ask yourself if the project is actually delivering (in time) what it planned to do.
There are so many listed projects which started good (because they were listed) but the value just dropped to almost null, hence ‘scam’. Do your research and then decide if it is worthy to hold or sell.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NIM] - Nimiq - The Browser Based Blockchain on: June 21, 2018, 11:00:39 AM
The Nimiq team also needs to step up market publicity. The market value of coins should be emphasized. I believe this coin will go very far, because the browser based block chain market is really big.

It seems the team has a pretty fancy toy but it is not able to play with peers. They do not invite friends to come along with them and have fun. Translating: the technology is really strong, but it cannot reach the wider community. The marketing should have a different strategy as the one implemented at the moment is simply failing.
204  Economy / Economics / Re: A small village strengthening it's Economy by cryptocurrencies. on: June 21, 2018, 07:38:39 AM
The idea sounds really appealing for the community, but has pros and cons. If the balance of the town is active, then the economy will flourish even further due to the stronger coin value. But the cons might be even stronger, as some malicious communities might jeopardise and dump the value for any silly reason. Like medieval towns in their own rights which water supply was blocked. They died all soon after.

206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Narrowing the Portfolio on: June 19, 2018, 05:18:09 AM
The choice of your portfolio depends on how aggressive you want to play in the cryptoworld. If you want to play more conservative and in the long term, then you can select a few old and stronger assets (even though you can experience serious swings). Adding other coins makes your investment riskier and subjected to even bigger fluctuations.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Ethersmine: is it a scam? on: June 18, 2018, 08:55:36 AM
As far as I can see, that website is a mining cloud which will return your shares in 90 days. Hence, you need to wait another while before you can see anything in your wallet.
Nevertheless, I strongly recommend you to buy outright your coins rather than waste your money with cloudmining. Cloudmining providers have to make profit anyway, and they make profit on your contract! You will be better off buying crypto from an exchange (or mine yourself).
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I shut it down tonight boys. on: June 18, 2018, 06:50:01 AM
If you are a recreational miner, I am assuming you are doing it for fun and you do not care much about the crypto price swings. Thing about it this way: you bought some coins or tokens and the price is going down. Wait for better times before you can sell for a profit. Hence, keep mining regardless.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][pre-ICO]🔥 CrowdCoinage🔥 the OS for funding powered by blockchain on: June 17, 2018, 07:40:54 PM
I do not see engagement in this thread (even if OP was in not long ago). Would it be this the place to receive updates, or developer are active on other media platforms? It would be good to know how the project is unfolding.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ABCC Exchange Bounty on: June 17, 2018, 10:48:01 AM
How does a zero fee exchange make profit? Would it be only advert revenue? Listing tokens is a source of income, but that is only a one-off fee.
If you add promotions as well, does owners pay from their own poker?
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy BTC half a year, loss 50%, how should I do on: June 17, 2018, 09:04:15 AM
I can suggest you to pursue with option 1 and 2. Just keep waiting and the patience will pay off eventually. If you can’t wait so long, keep buying more so you average the price down. Hence, it will take less time to be profitable when there would be an eventual price recover.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Question about the way to manage large number of bounties at the same time on: June 17, 2018, 07:54:53 AM
Build  a spreadsheet with all the links from the Ann age, the social media links and the links of the page in the forum where you have posted your report. Do not forget to benchmark the minimum weekly requirements. This will help you to manage your work and keep track records. This way you can manage as many bounties as you want.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are masternode the future of cryptocurrency on: June 16, 2018, 05:16:05 PM
Masternodes are not the future. Even though they are energy efficient, they are very costly, especially for high value coins. Some of them require investment > 100k. You can join and lease to bigger masternodes, but the return is very tiny, especially if your investment is limited.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] THERESAMAYCOIN [$MAY] | Update block 102002 - 152001 / 400 $MAY per BLOCK on: June 16, 2018, 08:58:10 AM
Still do not understand the purpose of this coin, but as long as it keeps people and miners happy, I cannot complain. If you are happy about mining and stacking this shitcoin, I cannot be happier.
One question: Would there be a slum in the value of the coin if the block reward is going to increase?
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: June 16, 2018, 07:50:54 AM
I heard that they do not pay their hunters for a very long time, who worked to get the project to earn their money, but of course if the project does not pay the money to its hunters, then I think there is a smell of deception and in that case it will just be necessary to contact the police.
 Smiley Smiley

Do not spread false information because the coins were distributed in due course to the hunters who have promoted the programme. It took quite a while, but eventually it got sorted.
In terms of delivering, yes Electroneum is quite slow in developing and keep up with pace of the technology.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since 2012 on: June 15, 2018, 09:27:06 PM
The volume of the market is quite low these days, but the trading volume of BCN on binance has just fallen tremendously in the last few days (currently 250 BTC daily volume). Although it can be related to the overall trend, how would you address this scarcity of liquidity? Can it be related to the actual problems in the wallet? Perhaps a major breakthrough could revive the coin to upper levels.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prices always going down, is investor confidence finally breaking? on: June 15, 2018, 08:07:16 PM
Old investors won’t loose faith even if the price goes further down.  Daily traders don’t care about the price, but only to profit percentages. New investors are scared about the price fluctuations. That is the reason of the low volume these days.
218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you stay in crypto if BTC does not recover? on: June 15, 2018, 10:38:46 AM
Long term investors might be skeptical about this scenario. They will not invest anymore in something which has a continuous decrease in price. Unless they short the position obviously.
Nevertheless, if the price remains stable, the daily or weekly fluctuation can be still exploited for a decent profit. This is what the daily traders are after.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing Musicoin: People’s Coin on: June 15, 2018, 06:38:40 AM
There already is a Musicoin, so either you are a dumbass or a fraud... or, actually, no reason why you can't be

You got it right. OP is trying to promote his/her projects using established names in the market. Very misleading indeed. Musicoin and ReeCoin are the used names. Don’t fall into this scam.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: June 15, 2018, 06:26:26 AM
Recently, Waves has fallen very much in price. But to sell now is stupid, I am sure that with the restoration of the market, the rate will start to grow to 20-30 dollars.

This is the general trend across the board in the last few days and weeks. It would be a suicide to sell at such low price. This is applicable to any other coin or token in free fall. Selling is not an option in these grim times. You better wait till a new positive waves start.
