1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John Mcafee on: January 23, 2019, 01:42:13 PM
I would like to hear your thoughts on John Mcafee.  Do you respect him and do you believe he has done more harm or good for the crypto world?

I don't think the harm is due to John Mcafee, because the market decline was caused by many factors and accidents that occurred before John Mcafee was really involved in the crypto industry.
so this has nothing to do with what happened at this level of decline
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China is going to rule crypto! on: January 23, 2019, 01:39:53 PM
https://blokt.com/news/chinas-increasing-stake-in-crypto

Just came across this article about China's increasing stake in crypto. Kinda crazy to hear how even if the government is doing its best maintain control over blockchain, companies are still thriving. It seems like China is much more pro-blockchain and crypto than the rest of the world.

Any thoughts?

I'm not sure about the articles or news that you share
and if that's true, maybe growth will really be seen starting today. but there is no other news that strengthens the article.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would u open a loan to buy the dip? on: January 22, 2019, 01:57:59 PM
would you open a loan to buy the dip? and when it dips again you would open up another loan to buy the dip. and lets say repeat the process. probably no one is doing this. because being in debt is a bad thing. just depends on far u would invest into bitcoin or even crypto currency. sad it has to dip in the first place.

there is a lot of chaos that occurs due to the fall of the crypto market, especially for bitcoin, I think if you have bitcoin you should hold it, and go on vacation or look for income from other jobs until the market will stabilize and bull for bitcoin I am sure of this.
I believe because existence has existed for more than 10 years and in this level of decline is not the first in the history of crypto trading
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: The point of no return on: January 22, 2019, 01:54:19 PM
At which price do you think bitcoin will not be able to recover from? There is strong support at $3500 but is now at risk of being breached.

Is $3000 the low point after which there is limited chances of it returning to the glory days?

there are many possibilities that can occur including for bitcoin bullrun. I think the market is so fluctuating plus some rumors that are developing make the growth rate difficult.
I think bitcoin will be in the range of 3k in the next few months until finally it can really stabilize
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 first quarter market prediction on: January 19, 2019, 06:55:38 AM
What is your market prediction for the first quarter of 2019?

I don't see that there are many ico developers who have good progress in the Q4 program, and it seems the market is not experiencing significant changes, especially more likely to decline.
I think this is difficult to predict, but anything can happen including pumping
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid Dump after listing on: January 19, 2019, 06:53:34 AM
At the time of the listing after the end of ICO, the price often dumps. Why does it happen?
I think the reason is there is no buyer because of no demand for tokens since the ecosystem is not completed after the ICO.
It may be difficult because lack of funds, but I think the team should release a product like Dapps while running ICO to make token demand.
How do you think about it?

I think this is a shared problem for investors, bounty hunters and ico developers. everything is interconnected.

this is difficult when the market situation is very volatile and the impact on the dump is unavoidable
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin be the same if Satoshi wasn't anonymous? on: January 18, 2019, 10:24:52 AM
How would the crypto arena be different if everyone knew who Satoshi was?

from the first bitcoin exists and until now the figure of Satoshi is still unknown, so I guess Satoshi will never appear and claim his existence.
so this is not important anymore to discuss who Satoshi really is
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A bounty telegram channel that do not update is a warning sign on: January 16, 2019, 01:33:38 PM
I just got out of Excolony bounty campaign I don't know if they will still pay bounty hunters, but if the bounty channel have no one on the team or the bounty manager is not login anymore in this forum this  is a warning sign for bounty hunters to consider, do you have similar experience like this.

I experienced the same thing with you. and it makes it tired to wait until I ignore it. I think we need a regulation that can be a protector for bounty hunters. and paid managers must always update every news about it, so that every effort we have made is not in vain
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CMC still safe at all ?? on: January 16, 2019, 01:30:43 PM
I’m starting to worry about coinmarketcap lately, after series of deceit and spammish activity
The following are my observed reasons

1. Many dead projects still on cmc

2. Market cap is fake Cox many projects which have seized to trade adds up to the market cap

3. Cmc doesn't verify authenticity of projects before listing it

4. CMC now have ads of fake icos on their website thereby leading people to scammers

Funny enough so many NOOBS believe anything and everything dey see on cmc to be authentic

Let me stop here and anyone against it should bring a proof to counter it
Or offer more options

I agree that this is input for CMC to be more competent, but if you see some altcoins that are scams. CMC always updates it. but again this is good to be a positive input for the parties and the CMC team.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your advice is needed on: January 15, 2019, 01:31:22 PM
I want to dedicate my life to cryptocurrency from now till five years time and see what I can learn and make from it in all way ,is it a good path to follow? Is it wise to leave my crap job behind and be fully into cryptocurrency? Anyone on here that already did the same? How is the experience??

I guess it's not easy especially if you are only moving in a bounty campaign, in other words being a bounty hunter. and currently there is nothing to expect from every campaign especially to get big profits. so you should study and find income from the main job
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is ethereum on the rise?? on: January 15, 2019, 01:28:25 PM
Ethereum is on the rise leaving other coins like ripple and bitcoin cash it recently took back it's second place on cmc.. at already at $150.. are we going to see ethereum at $200 this month??

now the eth value is back down, I think the current situation is very volatile and unstable. I am not aware of developments for the altcoin right now especially with eth hard forks. so the conclusion is the market will need time to stabilize and grow
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans for this year on: January 14, 2019, 01:28:10 PM
Everyone keeps saying 2019 will be profitable for the crypto community... but in life I've had to learn things the hard way.. which makes me always want to look into things in 2 ways no matter the odds

What if 2019 is the beginning of another dump?? What would you do as a investor?? Wait till your portfolio goes to zero?? ... or sell whatever is left of it??

I guess you should try directly to learn about each market movement and its situation. currently there is no possibility that bulls will occur in the near future. I have predictions that bitcoin will grow in the middle of this year or the end of the year. so think again if you want to invest
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And the dip continues on: January 12, 2019, 01:41:51 PM
Lately the crypto currency world in terms of trading is not predictable
Another round of dip is ongoing just before a potential hardfork for etherum

I thought there should be massive demand for etherum
Why is there a decline ?

Probably a reason why everyone has to be smarter in their own capabilities

I was not surprised what happened in the decline earlier this year, I think the market needs time to improve and be stable, there will be no bulls that occur in this month or the next month, I have more predictions for the 4th month
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP competing places with ETH? on: January 11, 2019, 12:29:43 PM
Too fast and short XRP reclaims its position from Ethereum. I am still hesitant to invest now, the market is still not good. More often red and no significant changes. How do you respond to this? Will you still survive to buy several altcoins? Thank you in advance.

we all saw and witnessed a prolonged correction in the past year to date, especially for ripple and eth competition for second place in the marketcap ranks. it's very difficult to get good points or profits in investment or trade. I just waited and studied until the situation returned to normal
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC should be for big whales on: January 11, 2019, 12:26:42 PM
I'm here today to drop my own point about how KYC should be use
- KYC requirement for bounties and airdrops is so unreasonable ,KYC implementation is no doubt a good idea but it should be forced only on big investors that wants to buy large amount of a token either From ICO or Exchanges
- there should be limit for KYC requirements e.g like if an investor wants to buy 10,000$ worths of tokens upward then he or she must go through KYC ,just saying

I think it's useless to express your dislike for KYC, it's useless. because KYC is now part of the ico project. but I think if there is an airdrop that does KYC you should just ignore it.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any bounty rewards after August 2018 ? on: January 09, 2019, 01:49:37 PM
Hi,

I have been doing alot of bounties but getting no rewarding coins. The coins/token that i have received are all just in the wallet and not on any exchange and alot of my participated bounties have just disappeared. So i was wondering has anyone received any bounty rewards that they have exchanged for bitcoin since August of 2018 ?

The last token that i was able to cash out were in August of 2018, What about the rest of the bounty hunters ?

This is very relevant to the market situation which tends to undergo a long correction, so there are a lot of ico tokens that have no price after entering the exchange. imagine if you are an investor, of course you experience a substantial loss. so I don't think this situation only happens to you.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of strange projects on: January 09, 2019, 01:47:35 PM
Guys, it have come to my notice that some criminal minded guys are busy creating tokens and using it to defraud people, example of those tokens are *ripple classic, stellar classic, eos classic*, becareful guys and don't fall victim to their sweet mouth, they are busy listing them  in almost exchanges and using that to brainwash guy.... Becareful and guard ur money like ur whole life depends on it

that's why we should prioritize experience especially for knowledge for ico, but now eth has improved so that not all ico can use the smart contract. yes according to what I have read.
and I think there are a lot of ico projects that are experiences for all of us to be more able to learn and be careful.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is ethereum on the rise?? on: January 07, 2019, 01:39:47 PM
Ethereum is on the rise leaving other coins like ripple and bitcoin cash it recently took back it's second place on cmc.. at already at $150.. are we going to see ethereum at $200 this month??

it is likely that this will happen, yes eth is now back in second place on the marketcap. maybe in a few days eth can reach $ 200. but I still doubt that the value can last or not after a hard fork
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork? on: January 07, 2019, 01:37:06 PM
see good news about eth which always appears every day, some people think that eth will go up to 1000 usd, but will this happen?
because after all eth is the strongest coin after BTC, and I believe that.
and even the new news says that eth prices will be half the price of btc.

I doubt eth can reach half the price of bitcoin. this really requires a process especially in market stability. even though eth's hard fork will increase its value. I think, however, bitcoin has tied the market and has become a benchmark for all the altcoins traded.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the king of all altcoins on: January 05, 2019, 01:45:51 PM
There is no gainsaying about this, that Ethereum is truly the king of all altcoins.

Ever since XRP took over the 2nd position, i knew it was not going to last. The updates that were being announced were just taking profits.

Inasmuch as cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is concerned, decentralization will always take the lead, because that was the purpose of creating blockchain.

This is just the beginning. The Bakkt approval has not yet been lunched, other proposed milestones have not started and this is happening (eth on position 2).

What if the updates are eventually integrated, we might see ethereum at 0.05 BTC per ETH.

I think the competition is still wide open between ripples and eth.
but I agree that eth is able to rise again and reach a new record in terms of price value, but the process and growth will not occur immediately or in a short time.
