I hope the relationship between the two of you isn't gone sore now. Greed is a very bad thing and your friend became greedy. Bitcoin is surely going to break its ath price but when no one can guess. If bitcoin drops below $6k and stays there for some time than expect a bear phase and I don't think we are breaking ath this year.

Yes and the bubble popped. After every rally there is going to be a down phase. These corrections are good as they value the bitcoins at the price the market thinks is right.

Strangers yes but someone with relationship to me, no. You never encourage friends/family to invest in Bitcoin because bitcoin is a volatile asset and during the down trend they are going to blame you for their loss and that is going to effect your relationship with them.

There are tokens being developed on Ethereum with real world use case and once these tokens start getting traction Ethereum is the one who is going to benefit from it as Ether would be needed to transact on the chain. So yeah with this in mind there isn't anything wrong in saying that $5k is within range.

The banks are against it because it threatens their hegemony. The governments are against it cause they don't have any control over it. And the rest of the people who are against it are someone who loses something due to Bitcoin or cant understand what Bitcoin is.

You lose more than that to inflation itself so getting such a small percentage of interest rate is nothing but a joke. You can make that much in a day with Bitcoins.

Bitcoin cannot replace something that doesn't require internet. Bitcoin is dependent on the internet and wouldn't work without it but the fiat is dependent on nothing. Also fiat has been there for so many centuries that it isn't something that can be replaced this easily.

The scenario you mentioned is happening this year with the MT GOX trustee dumping large amounts of bitcoins on the exchanges and that is causing the price to drop.

Both these coins are such that you can never go wrong purchasing them at any price. Both are going through down trend currently and are bound to come back. Also you might have heard the phrase, Buy the Dip. Its famous for a reason.

It aint taking over BTC even in 100 months let alone 10 months. XRP has most of its supply locked up and is inflating its price through reducing the supply of coins. Once these coins come in circulation XRP will drop too low in price.

Have been using this exchange for some time now and never looked into another exchange again. Since I mostly trade in established coins so I find most of the coins on this exchange. Also have doubled my investment through kucoin shares I purchased some time ago.

Yeah and I want to buy a Lamborghini. Lets be real both the things aren't possible in this short period. If someone knew how to do that than they wouldn't be making comments here but rather counting their money. You are more likely going to reduce that money to $2k than double it in that time period. Just search for coins with strong fundamentals and great dev teams developing for them and HODL.

I save most of my money. I also spend money on other cryptocurrencies.

The rest is for rent, food, clothes, electronic gadgets. I also buy some games sometimes. I am a frugal person mostly and don't waste my money on pointless things.

In regular markets the most you can make is 10-20% return in an year while when it comes to Bitcoin there are returns like x10, x20, people dream of lambo's and shit. No doubt it's making  the world go crazy.

Many don't realize but they have already started a war with Bitcoin. They are already running negative and FUD campaigns against Bitcoin.

Of course they do, Bitcoin is a direct threat to their monopoly. Plus Bitcoin is far superior in technology then the banking system so once it becomes really popular it will make the banking system obsolete.

Who is we? I don't think we can. Humans could if they worked together. Bitcoiners alone can't.

There's no need to eliminate banks. I really dislike most banks but the essence of a bank is fine. We should just punish corruption and mistakes more in banking.

Yes I am. I think a good mix of BTC and altcoins is nice. Even if most altcoins will be worthless in the future, they still get pumps during bullmarkets and I can trade them to get even more bitcoins. Maybe one day a new altcoin will be created that can even overtake Bitcoin.  Maybe it already exists, but I doubt it.

Yes it's safe again although it's never been truly safe. MEW was forked, apparently websites can fork too and they have a competitor now, I still prefer MEW. But there's much safer ways like Metamask and other wallets. MEW is really easy though and it's great that it exists, just make sure you are on the right url.
