161  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: February 27, 2018, 11:59:17 PM
Don't spend too many of your bitcoins. Bitcoins are scarce and you shouldn't spend more than 5% of them per year, preferably less depending on how many you have. Also often there's no need to use bitcoin, sometimes there's discount but be sure to buy bitcoins back later that day. HODLing is more important, some people want bitcoin to be some cash used daily for spending, but in a world of overconsumption, mindless spending should be avoided ad it's better to spend inflationary currencies than deflationairty currencies
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the three most important features of a crypto-exchange? on: February 27, 2018, 01:52:49 AM
Anonymity and KYC are opposite things. How can you be anonymous if there is KYC?

I think the withdrawal fees and the user interface are import features in a crypto exchange.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: February 27, 2018, 01:34:41 AM
Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency but ethereum is newer and used better technology like smart contracts. Ethereum also has many tokens.

I choose to hold both bitcoin and ethereum because both of them are good coins.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple a true Cryptocurrency? on: February 27, 2018, 01:10:27 AM
Ripple is a currency that many banks are using but it is not in line with the vision of satoshi which was decentralized cryptocurrencies. It is not a true cryptocurrency but it uses crypto technology.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Private BTCP Hard Fork Guide - Claim your FREE BTCP w/ Zclassic and BTC on: February 27, 2018, 01:00:57 AM
I have never participated in a fork before. I have about half a bitcoin sitting on exchange (which I know many think is not safe). However, I use it with a bot (profit trailer) to make trades all day long. I guess without knowing what bitcoin private will be worth it is hard to answer this question....

I wonder if it would be worth it to pay the fees to send the bitcoin from the exchange to a wallet.....then back from the wallet to the exchange....will the value of bitcoin private be worth it?

I guess I am answering my own question...obviously if its valued high it will be worth it...if it is not it will not be. I like the combination of both coins... so quick question...

1. Do you have a guess what it might start at in value? I know its just a guess...just wondering your opinion.

2. Would you eat the fees to move it twice to participate in the fork?

Thank you
Id estimate its probably worth it, if it does well + you don't -> you'll kick yourself if it doesnt itll probably be worth enough to recoup your fees

But if your fund is in the exchange then you can't use the fork can you? Exchanges don't give you the money for most forks.

Fees is high for most exchanges and it will take some mining fees too.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on NANO? on: February 27, 2018, 12:46:27 AM
... Ripple/Stellar are both insanely fast and cheap but don't have the "spirit" of Satoshi's vision in their implementations.
What aspect(s) of Satoshi's vision?

Ripple and stellar are both centralized coins. Satoshis vision was decentralized peer to peer cryptocurrency.

NANO is a decentralized cryptocurrency that is fast and has low fees.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Received An Email From MyEtherWallet on: February 27, 2018, 12:34:20 AM
myetherwallet will never send a email to anyone to invest in anything. because they know this will be exploited in scams. never trust emails asking you to invest in things. emails are used in most scams.
168  Economy / Economics / Re: Porsche introduces blockchain to cars on: February 27, 2018, 12:29:59 AM
Never liked Porche. Now I like it a little more.   I also heard Tesla accepted bitcoins, not sure if they still do.

Either way it's great news for bitcoin Cheesy
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC - Passports and documents for sale on Dark Web on: February 27, 2018, 12:17:05 AM
I think it is the icos that sell kyc of users on the dark web. It is terrible for person whose kyc is online. This is identity theft in cryptocurrencies. Anyone can scam the person and his money is gone.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Bounties in the past? on: February 27, 2018, 12:15:37 AM
Deeponion was the best, I regret not doing it. Missed out on thousands. That's okay though. Blocklancer is pretty good too, as it pays per comment. Spam isn't allowed though.

Also looking back I bet many of the bigger coins now were pretty great too, I remember doing Waves on my old account (that got hacked Sad), back then I got $200, but then it was less than $1.

171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: February 26, 2018, 11:54:40 PM
Yes. Right now is a great time to invest in ICOs. You just have to find out the good ICOs and then invest in them. Just avoid all the ICOs which will not give you profit or scam you.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i search good airdrops?? on: February 26, 2018, 11:51:42 PM
Bitcointalk and telegram are the best for finding good airdrops. I use this forum for finding most of the airdrops and some of them good airdrops.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto? on: February 26, 2018, 11:48:54 AM
By joining here you mean bitcointalk? I use this site because it the oldest bitcoin forum on the internet and has a lot of good information about new projects. I also participate in bounties because why not.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: February 26, 2018, 11:46:39 AM
Electroneum is not a scam. It is a coin that's main feature is mobile mining but it is fake mining. It uses airdrops instead of real mining.

But there is no other problem with it.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT IS HYCON on: February 26, 2018, 11:36:34 AM
Thank you for your reply.

I asked sale structure including past sales, and MVP on telegram that was a reasonable question as a contributor because it was not mentioned at all on website and WP(even though it was strange ICO).

I waited for their answer one night, and today their answer was to "ban me". Undecided Undecided Undecided

I have to put up

RED FLAG

I worry about my subscribers of telegram, potential investors.

This is a big red flag. I had some questions about this project and it does not look good from this response. They should not have banned you.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can I make at least $50,000 profit in 1 year with this portfolio? on: February 26, 2018, 11:34:53 AM
It is possible to have at least $50000 profit in 2 year with this portfolio if all the coins increase a lot but it is not going to happen because some coin may increase and the other might decrease.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple on: February 26, 2018, 10:51:24 AM
That's not ripple. It says digiblockchain. What is digiblockchain?

Don't post threads with misleading titles.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple XRP - 10$ THIS YEAR! on: February 26, 2018, 01:03:23 AM
I do not think it is possible for ripple to go to $10 this year. That is just too much. It can go to 4-5 dollars.

179  Economy / Speculation / Re: How exchanges steal our money on: February 26, 2018, 12:52:35 AM
They charge fees during trading and there are so many trades they earn a lot but they also charge a very high fees for withdrawal. So every time you withdraw money you can giving it to exchanges.
180  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much BTC will go in 2018? on: February 26, 2018, 12:50:41 AM
Bitcoin will go up a lot in 2018. The price of Bitcoin has gone up a lot in the last year but I think it can go beyond 50 thousand dollars this year.
