The John K tracking device, for the needy escrow user Make it standard-issue for treasurers/escrows, and require "I'm ok" bursts. Or it could be escrow duos. Two escrows working together, both with access to the privkeys, so that if one dies of sudden plane crash, money is not lost.

Cool. I enjoy it when people are not dead.

Asshole. You just cost me 10btc. You can send 10 BTC to the address in my signature.

@ReCat: no matter if you post the same pic on reddit or bitcointalk... my believes stay the same. until proven otherwise I just thought it would be funny. I make these pictures of things I say quite often, just being silly.

You know, I clicked this thread and I didn't know why I clicked this thread. I'm not sure what I was expecting. Also, I have no idea what the OP is talking about. I'm gay.

You should totally do it. Sure it's irresponsible and crazy but fuck, do it!

What's the risk if the item still has ebay buyer protection? Won't paypal just rip money out of the hands of buyers once its discovered fake?
Edit: Oh god. They're offering to accept payment via bitcoins. That's not good.
However, if buyers pay via paypal or credit card, they can always chargeback, right?

How can it be proven safe? (So that it won't be Input.Io'd)

Did the ProtoShares people give out the bounty yet? With GPU mining now being a think I can't see any place other than the grave for this coin to go to.

I'm not trying to troll.
And yet...you are still doing it. I haven't tried it
What a surprise. How about STFU unless you have some actual information. He's released an open source miner. It is quite fast on high end cards, faster than any single CPU (although not dramatically so), but definitely much better than most CPUs in terms of $s/h and almost certainly in terms of probably J/h. You were already wrong when you said "We're about to get Mtmlr'd" but now instead of admitting it you continue to dig deeper. You don't have to be a jerk about it. That, and trolling means to intentionally spark debate. I never said I was right either. I'm just saying that I was suspicious. That's all.

If I find myself to give up on the project. XD

mtmlr posted source code too... :/
Did it work? The point is, in this case, the miner has already been released. A lot of people have tried it and it works. There is no further room for suspicion. Use it if you like, improve it if you like, or none of the above. But stop trolling. I'm not trying to troll. MTMLR's miner works, but it mines slower than the CPU. That's all I'm saying. I haven't tried it, and i'm not saying this guy is mtmlr 2.0. I'm just saying.. I have distrust. That's all.

I think that CoinIMG might've been a better name. PNG in it makes it sound kind of a technical thing, just oddly unfitting. But maybe that's just me. *shrug* Anyways I've taken the CoinIMG.com domain name. I decided I want to take a stab at making a service like this just to sharpen my skills. XD May the (friendly) competition begin! (Eventually..)

I wasn't trolling. I'm really suspicious.
The code is on github now. Suspicion of scammers is reasonable, but at this point, its time to drop it here. I'm not trying to troll. It's just... cant help but feel paranoid. MTMLR was legit too. he made all of reaper, which people actually used! Okay now it is clear you are trolling. If you don't want to troll then you have some kind of compulsion, because you are doing it anyway. The SOURCE code is on github. What more can I say. Just....Stop.... mtmlr posted source code too... :/

Oh god, Here we go again. We're about to get Mtmlr'd
You're probably trolling, but in case you're serious, I'll respond exactly once to this kind of statement. Unlike the subject of your prior experience, I'm not hiding behind a cloak of anonymity. I'm a professional, I'm public about this, and I'm posting under my real name. If you're really curious, here you go: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dga/My recent research is in high performance, memory-efficient algorithms. You may choose or not choose to believe me, of course. I could be lying and pretending to be some CS researcher somewhere. But if you look on my blog or other sources, you should be able to conclude pretty quickly that I'm not. I'll be blunt, of course, that I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to get compensated for a fun side project that I invested waaaaayyyy more time into over my christmas and new years breaks than I should have. The miner is now working, I'm running it on my computers at home. I was running it on EC2 GPU instances for a while (about 600 c/s total across the GPU and CPU), but the spot prices jumped back up to the point where it wasn't profitable. *shrugs* If you want to be constructive, how about suggesting some good mechanism of escrow or other approach so that there's only money transferred when people are satisfied that the miner is actually functional? -Dave I wasn't trolling. I'm really suspicious. But even all credibility and proof in the world can be faked some way. The forum's still full of scammers... don't trust anyone. I just hope you're as you say, but not even I can say I fully believe you, regardless of the evidence. (How do we know that you're not a random person on the forums taking the name of the person behind that page and the blogs/etc? There's many possible ways to look completely legit while not being that at all.)
