I have 100 ORB coins, how much will I get for POS mining? How long does it take for coin holders to receive an award?
You get 0.25 ORB per single stake like everyone does. How long, it depends on network difficulty and your luck. Anything from one week to a few months.

congrats for being 7 yo point to ponder , why could the project get listed on more excahnges during this whole lot of time?
Those exchanges die too much. Cryptsy, Cryptopia, NovaExchange, maybe a couple more.

I got this error when trying to use older wallet.dat backup with 0.6.6.2 on ubuntu
v0.6.5.x used v4.8 BerkeleyDB for block index and wallet. Recent releases make use of v5.3.28 BerkeleyDB. You probably need to export your private keys and import them into v0.6.6.2 or v0.7 beta. The latter is better for private use. Is there a way to draw the deps into the binary? I've compiled the old one but can't transfer it to another server as the deps are missing there. You can make static libraries.

Orbitcoin is 7 years old today. Thanks for your support!
BTW another reward halving has taken place on the 26th of July. A block delivers 0.25 ORB now.

Yes, Phoenixcoin is 7 years old now. I'm still working on the beta wallet. You can expect another beta release in one or two weeks. I have created a new official Telegram group under my management. Updates will be posted there. You can also ask your questions there if you have any. You said 2, 3 weeks for the update, it's been 2 months. Could you be a bit more transparent? ghostlander My job and real life take priority. It will be released eventually.

P2Pool node sigma.phoenixcoin.org ran out of space at Amazon AWS. I have decided not to extend the plan and moved the node from Hilliard, OH to Los Angeles, CA. It's a fast IPv6 capable VPS, and KVM vs. Xen doesn't seem to matter much on Linux anyway.

Hello there! Anyone know what's the best way to securely store some PXC ?
The most reliable option is to store coins on a desktop wallet, you can download it on the official website. Thanks man! I have a last question if you don't mind.. How can I save a wallet with the app (I am on linux) then recover it on another computer ? Move wallet.dat or the entire .phoenixcoin directory.

CryptoWolf has offered us a listing for only 0.02 BTC. I can cover part of it myself. Anyone willing to contribute? This is a crypto-to-fiat and fiat-to-crypto gateway registered in Bulgaria and operating through Swiss Bity SA. They also offer interchain exchange services at market rates.

Hi Everyone,
Just had a problem with my Orbitcoin wallet. Had been running the wallet for about three days. It's all synced up, trying to stake the coins I have been holding for about five years. This morning there was a power failure which abruptly shut down the computer ORB was running on and now the wallet will not restart. When I try to run the wallet, I get a message that Orbitcoin has stopped working and a problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. What is the solution?
Also, I have my wallet back up and all that so no worries there. I am looking for an easy way to get this wallet running again. I don't want to download a new wallet and have to sync six years of transactions. I know I can do that but it's my least favorite. Is there another way?
Also, do we have a telegram group? Discord, Keybase, anything other that this?
Also, if I have to download a new wallet, is there an up to date bootstrap available to make the sync faster?
Thanks
The wallet runs reindexing automatically on a block index failure. Should there be a more severe issue, you have to do fix it manually by deleting blktree, coins and database directories, then executing "orbitcoin-qt -reindex". The wallet will use the existing block files to recreate the block index, UTXO, etc. I'm moving nodes from one provider to others this month, so there is no bootstrap available right now.

The official block explorer has been moved from a rather troublesome VPS hosted by Colocrossing in Dallas, TX to a better one provided by Telepoint in Sofia, Bulgaria. One of the P2Pool nodes has been also relocated there.

hi ghostlander,
could you please try to get pxc listed on binance or binance dex? they only accept the project founder as applicant. As a fee they accept a voluntary donation whose amount has no influence on the listing process.
I can apply indeed. Are there any particular requirements? ----- Beta 1 of the v0.7 wallet is expected for release today. There are many improvements over the current v0.6.6.2. It's good for private use, though the v0.6 branch is still recommended for production use.

There is a list of NTP servers compiled in. If one server doesn't work for whatever reason, there is a hundred of other servers. The NTP poller queries a random server from the list every time.
