41  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Quote Notifier on: August 24, 2019, 03:05:13 PM
Wait, so that bot does work with native bitcointalk quotes? If true, then my whole project was useless, because then the only difference between us is that I use push notifications, which not everyone seem to like anyway.
Yup works with quotes. but your project not useless at all, cause it's easy and simply work with a single click of a button. if someone not enabling Maggiordomo bot cause they too lazy to do all the task require they will choose this one. but the downside is this notification only work for desktop and not a mobile phone, while Maggiordomo can pm you on telegram.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Amazon Cloud Outage Causing Major Issues at Some Crypto Exchanges on: August 23, 2019, 01:23:07 PM
Why something like this never happens when I'm using an exchange lol.

Quote
apparently of order book data from an unnamed exchange that a customer had posted in the BitMax exchange’s official Telegram channel. It suggests traders have been able to buy 45 bitcoin for less than $1 (in the tether stablecoin, USDT). The price of bitcoin at time of writing should be around $10,190, according to CoinDesk’s global average price index.

43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining Bitcoin at a nuclear power station in Ukraine on: August 22, 2019, 04:07:16 PM
It's nice that people used clean energy to mine Bitcoin, I guess, but also sad that people keep trying to profit by cheating and using the resources that don't belong to them.
What part of stealing resources is nice? it's not sad man, just pathetic. They only try to gain money by it nothing else. If they really want to use clean energy they can go with wind power or solar power. Create it by themselves and not stealing from the government.

Edit: Curious by clean energy mining that you say I found this article Surprise! Majority of BTC Energy Sourced from Hydro / Wind / Solar
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Winning Streak in a Dice Game on: August 20, 2019, 07:33:55 AM
I made 10 consecutive win bet at 49% chance in dice game just today (image below). But my longest winning streak is around 16 or 17, I switch between over and under several times, following my guts.

45  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help: Question about Smart contract on: August 19, 2019, 10:26:43 AM
Edit: I know little about ethereum
Do you have enough eth in your address to pay for the gas? You will need a lot if you need ti send tokens to many addresses.

I looked at the address you said. You have zero eth to pay for gas, so you cannot pay transactions fees. Look they all have costs (tx fee column)

The transactions will probably work when you send eth and run the smartcontract again

That the contract sir, not the address that he means to send out the token.
And he clearly has the gas to pay the fee at his address here https://etherscan.io/address/0xd05e676f277974bef8b213f4afbc9fdd120ec9a4
the token is still locked cause the age is still 346 days and not 1 year yet. So OP just waits a couple of weeks and you should good to go.

edit:
Or maybe I was wrong and this that cause your token still locked

Maybe wait until both have at least 365 days age at them.

I'm no smart contract dev, just happened to create some token in the past for fun and learn from it
46  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you really think bitcoin will reach 100k $ in 2021 on: August 19, 2019, 05:53:24 AM
Move your topic here mate Speculation it's more appropriate at that sub.

But yeah probably.

49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are Virgin Bitcoins on: August 13, 2019, 12:56:23 PM
The point of virgin coins is to ensure that they have no dirty past and thus reduce the risks of having to deal with investigators.
Why you are so sure that no one can link your coins to your identity? If you have an exchange account, you probably did KYC, and even if you didn't, it's still inked to your bank card which has your name on it. And then there are things like linking your public profiles, Bitcoin addresses and real world identity together - this can easily happen, it's the same as doxxing, which happens all the time.
If I really care about my privacy and the history of the coin I purchase I'll just buy some privacy cryptocurrency and not buy bitcoin that the price 10- 30% higher than the price on the market.

And again, if I buy 1 bitcoin legally from an exchange, but without my or that exchange knowledge turn out that bitcoin has been stolen, do I really have to give that bitcoin back to the owner? In my opinion of course not. But hey, I'm no legal expert so know nothing about the law

And I have another question, I have 1 wallet With 100 bitcoin in it, and receive another 100 of "stollen" bitcoin on that same wallet, and spread that 200 bitcoin to 100 different address, how can you tell which one is stolen bitcoin and witch on not. I just curious, cause it has been placed to the same wallet. how can we know the difference between those coins.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are Virgin Bitcoins on: August 13, 2019, 10:42:17 AM
What the point of having this "virgin bitcoin"? Beside its never traded before? Its useless in my opinion cause in the end you gonna spend it anyway.
Let's say that I have 1 bitcoin in my wallet right now, this bitcoin already moved so many times, but this 1 bitcoin is from stollen wallet and I never know it cause I get it from an exchange. do "cyber police" will come to me and confiscated my bitcoin? No right? they don't even know what address belongs to whom, let along to seize it.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10,000 American Cryptocurrency Owners Will Receive Warning Letters From the IRS on: July 30, 2019, 05:48:02 AM
Dealing with regular tax is hard enough for me. Cause you know not all of us get taught about it in school. I'm not US citizen anyway, in my country bitcoin nor legal or illegal, feel free to use it you won't get taxed by it but any loss or damage will never be a government problem.
52  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Its better to have more than one email on: July 18, 2019, 08:04:09 AM
~Should it be right to start deregister them and put another email.
If you mean by "deregister" is changing the email. Yes, done that.

Just a tip, you can pay great alternative email services like Protonmail[1] and Tutanota[2] like $1-$5 a month(depending on what service), and get multiple aliases to your emails. So you simply don't need to switch emails every time you want to check messages from other emails.
Or just like I write at the end of my post. you can use mail.com services. It's completely free, and you can get up to 10 aliases address in one email. The downside of this method is if the main email address that you use for login got compromised that means all of your email gone, so make sure that one email for login only for login and you never use it for something else.
53  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Its better to have more than one email on: July 17, 2019, 08:50:19 AM
Everyone should write passwords in notepad but not real passwords must change few words which you remember.
Don't do this. Use a password manager such as KeePass, which will encrypt and store all your passwords for you.
Or if you still want to save your password in notepad at least compress it to rar/zip and get that file a password as the main protection.
54  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Its better to have more than one email on: July 16, 2019, 02:00:00 PM
I would never put those two in the same pot.
~
Sure, it also can work that way. And that's why I say you need at least 3, if you want to have more than that is absolutely fine and even better IMO. As long as you were capable to manage and not use one email for another.

~Those emails are divided into yahoo mail, gmail and outlook mail; passwords are also different.
and make sure not use the same username between those email, I mean it kinda pointless if TeQuiero@gmail.com TeQuiero@yahoo.com and TeQuiero@outlook.com right.

~
Completely new to me will try to learn this first, and thanks for your info mate.
55  Other / Beginners & Help / Its better to have more than one email on: July 16, 2019, 01:34:45 PM
I write this for all of you that visiting this post, not just for newbie or beginner.
Lets just straight to the point, you need at least 3 different email addresses.
1. For exchanges / social media account and any important account. Don't share this email to anyone else, please make sure that only you know this email. If someone knows this email address they will try to hack your account, even if you have 2fa on that exchange it will likely make your account lock, and if this your social media still probably fuck you up though.
2. For work/school. This means professional email, don't give it to anyone besides your college worker or friend from school.
3. For spam/promotional. You will use this email address for anything else, sign up for a newsletter, etc.

Why I wrote this post? Not long ago almost all my exchanges account got hacked, not really hacked tbh, just someone tries to reset a password something like that. and that because I use the same email for almost all my account and my email listed on my blog.
You also need to read this post by Ux PSA: DO NOT USE THE SAME PASSWORD FOR DIFFERENT SITES! and this by ONEnergy revealing e-mail might be dangerous

You can say that manage more than one email can be a hard job, so use this mail.com service you can create one main email address and add up to 10 more alias email addresses for free. That means you have 10 email address in one account. just remember don't use the main email for login to mail.com to any other sites, just use the aliases provided by them.
56  Other / Meta / Re: why my account banned? on: June 19, 2019, 10:02:46 AM
~
I don't think that he is spamming, I mean it's on games and round board. Moreover, it's on bitsler bounty roll, You have to make a post with your bitsler username there. That's means all of the user postings there should be banned by your logic.
1) You need to register here by posting your name after this post ( 1 player per post and you must be in the chat at least 10 min before the start or you'll loose your seat).

And he states that he assigned to translate that, he wants to help Indonesian people who not really good in English to understand the rules of the game.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Theymos start gambling now? on: June 17, 2019, 06:07:05 AM
That's not me. I don't gamble.

The only sites where I use the name "theymos" actively are bitcointalk.org, Reddit, and github. Anywhere else and it's probably not me.
Well, its the answer we get from Theymos himself, gonna add this to Original post so no one will think it's him.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Theymos start gambling now? on: June 15, 2019, 01:01:26 PM
Is it a big deal to you that a person uses a Pseudo such as Theymos in a gambling site?
It's not, but he can say something about bitcointalk in the chat room and someone could believe him xD

59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Theymos start gambling now? on: June 15, 2019, 11:57:40 AM
Edit:
The official answer from Theymos himself, wonder no more my fellow gambler friend.
That's not me. I don't gamble.

The only sites where I use the name "theymos" actively are bitcointalk.org, Reddit, and github. Anywhere else and it's probably not me.

So Theymos decide to try some gamble now? is it him or just imposter? If he just imposter he has some big balls for using that name and lost that much bitcoin lol.

60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone know the formula for calculating odds in the chatbot at PrimeDice? on: June 12, 2019, 01:56:26 PM
Just type "!odds 20 2"
Explanation: !odds - Is the command, 20 is 20 losing 20 bets in a row, 2 is chance

Pretty much same at another site like bitsler. Or you can try this odds calculator https://www.smartgamblingedge.com/p/odds-calculator.html
