What gambling site is this? He joined in 2017.  It could be him if it is reputable gambling site that has a presence here on bitcointalk.
But a high profile admin, gambling under his forum name on another site, with lots of bitcoin is very unlikely though. It is  like seeing Bill gate  gambling in a popular physical casino.. . He will probably not do that. He will be conscious of company's stakeholders,  investors, advertisers, media and  users

I don't believe that name is the person who we've know in the forum. Cause if that really he is, it surely he use another name to protect himself.
We know already theymos aren't exposed in any social media, thus engaging into gambling will never be his lifestyle.
Due to the fact that there is no restriction in using names will all of us can make a way to use a high profile person's name..

We don't know for sure that it's really theymos who did gamble in that site. Judging from the image provided that theymos joined the site two years ago. I did think a way that we will be able to know if it's really the real theymos who gamble and lost huge amount of bitcoins is by asking theymos in here and wait for theymos to answer the question.

The gambling site shown on the screenshot is stake it's a reputable site since the owners and the team are mostly known for their main gambling site which is primedice.

I don't get what you're trying to say about the bill gates part, it's normal for any popular people to gamble and there's no good reason to make a big deal out of it.

Theymos has been closely watched by many people. Some consider him as a role model. Authorities are looking for reasons to accuse him of money laundering and his criticizers claims he has been illegally siphoning the donations received. So, it would be too much risk for the real theymos to gamble.

Looks like the screenshot's from Stake.com; checks out when I go to the Stake.com site, the interface and website design seems to be essentially the same as with the screenshop in the OP. Also checks out when I go to look at the stats for the username Theymos on Stake (click for link). We'll likely never know in the end whether or not that's actually Theymos, could be any gambler trying to pretend to be him or actually him, but whoever that is must have pretty deep pockets to gamble that much.

The person could also be a user from reddit since theymos is one of the moderators on the bitcoin subreddit.

It seems like a big loss for us because most of us aren't highrollers but for him it's not that big if he could lose a couple of Bitcoins within seconds.

Just ask yourself this question.
Why would forum admin risk his reputation and possibly cause some controversy gambling?

      You're right man since he has have BTC and ETH in his wallet  so it's very easy  for him to get involve in gambling and he is worthy to be happy like everyone else so its have nothing wrong with the news and he is still respectable in this community .

Anyone can use the name of "THEYMOS", they can use it to scam people, to make fraud and to gamble. I have no that that they use the name of Theymos because its very popular in the world of cryptocurrency, well at least here in the forum. Anyway, anyone can gamble so this is not a serious topic.

Actually, no one would, judging from all the anonymous whales I see playing dice every now and then. You do get some known usernames but these are usually characters everyone knows from gambling and they're cool with their usernames being known.

As stated by theymos himself he uses this username only here ,github and reddit.I think it is not him because theymos have already a lot of bitcoins and it would be stupid of him to lose them that way.

Since the response from actual person made it clear that it is not him,so this is actually like a strategy from the respective gambling site to create fake reputation for them by convincing the players by using the statement that theymos even playing on our site.
