Yes, way slower, but not impossible.
It is indeed a 100% possibility, maybe in some countless millions of years. Why don't you issue a direct challenge to hackers? It is the quickest way to find out!  I would like Mike B to prove me wrong since he said .rar file can be decrypted/forced. Mike is a good guy, but others might take you up on the challenge. First, I said "depending on the encryption". So that obviously matters. Second, if the encryption is weak, it can be brute forced. There used to be a weakness whereby you could do some file modifications and glean the password. It "hopefully" has been fixed. I love the guys thinking they know stuff by using bruteforce as a standard of cracking. Anyone with half a brain would NOT attempt that and would look for other weaknesses. Point being is...there are a number of ways information can be gleaned. There are also dumb ass people would would just zip the file instead of rar it with a strong encryption. Why complicate it when you can use a hardware wallet with a PIN that does the encryption for you? And where are your balls? You could have commented right on the video... About 5 years ago,a few guys I worked with needed excel docs that were .rar'd. We used a workaround to glen the key. The guy who did it was keeping stuff under his hat and making life difficult thinking he'd gain job security. |

First congrats on your success for populous ICO. But it was a mistake not to give chance to normal sale investors. Making all the tokens available in pre-sale is not making sense. You also decreased the price per token by the way.
This is just plain WRONG. I'm a normal investor and I got in. Stop being so butthurt. |

populous manager is somewhat not doing his job properly. he should have atleast informed his participants that they are palnning to sell all those tokens in the pre sale. and not leaving them the info of the ico will still be in july 16. that is why people have not reached the minimum of 50 posts due to LACK OF INFORMATION! even if you said that the bounty is already open for months and people should've managed to posts that 50. still, he did not announce it. you cant blame people if they have not able to make it, who knows they are busy or what ever. and expecting the ico on july 16. im so disappointed.
Clearly understood by me and three people I know who are NOT native english speakers. Do your due diligence or go back to school to learn how to read. |

Be happy that you have more than what you had yesterday and that VERI is going to do VERI WELL.
The fact that one may have or have not contributed more during the ICO has no bearing on the amount of free shit one thinks they are owed. A small amount of effort was put forth for an asset that is only going to increase in value, which was given to you.

Bix Weir is good for telling us that there is far lots more gold out there than publicly disclosed. And in addition to all the unlimited manipulation going around, gold is not a good investment except just kept as some collectible. I don't think silver is a good investment too; I agree with Clif High that the government will set a price and force it onto us to take and I am sure the price isn't something that will be investment-worthwhile compare to the cryptocurrencies. Yeah, massive black market as a result but if the government makes it illegal with heavy punishment, I don't think anyone of us would want to take such risk selling into a black market. Some people will just never give in to the demands of tyrants and criminals... |

It's morning where I am (europe). So a few minutes ago, I was on the etherdelta exchange. I sold a small portion of my veri for 4.5x profit. While there, in the chat, people were panicking because some dummy was placing very low volume trades at ridiculous rates (mostly lower).
The exchange does not calculate volume in the price action and so the price was falling rapidly. It happens to be the same couple of people trolling the youtube vids for people who like veritaseum and the people putting up the "veritaseum is $3" bullshit.

Looks like this guy took my money and run. I had requested a refund and he has continuously ignored it. I'm taking legal action against this guy.
I came across this, I remember there's another thread discussing this very problem with these websites, just do a search. They are the same and there are many companies like it that move around. Sorry to hear about this story, but if you have paid, you won't get your money back. I hope you didn't lose too much. I wouldn't bother taking legal action, as you will be wasting your time. The address they normally provide is usually fake and the telephone number won't work. They will start again and move around. Chalk it down to experience, and don't buy from these kinds of companies. Look for reviews BEFORE buying. Hopefully it helped. the guy has a long profile on this forum under "ShopemNL". I've got his address, company profiles in the NL, everything. I'm taking legal action. Good luck buddy. I hate when people do this kind of thing. But with bitcoin, it's almost impossible to prove they received money and you lost it. I wish you the best and keep us informed. I've been scammed too many times in real and online that maybe I've become immune to such poor behaviour Well I have an invoice that shows that I paid and the value of that in fiat at the time of the purchase. I think the biggest problem is people stand by and allow punks like this to get away with is, so they just continue on thinking that they'll never get caught. I'll post updates. |

I do believe people greatly misunderstand Veritaseum and it has great potential. Look at our society today and look at all the services that are greatly required and centralized, deal highly in paper, or are slow moving. These are law, notary, banking & finance, the list goes on. There is a (or soon will be) token/coin for each one of these services that is the hallmark for that service. I believe Veri, is one of those for the capital markets. Will Veri, really the options you have are endless. They don't require a board room to discuss politics either. |
