281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real purpose of Bitcoin on: November 24, 2020, 12:26:32 PM
When you talk about Bitcoin first thing which most of us thinks either it's a get rich quick scheme or an investment scheme. Did Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin as an investment scheme? No, it was supposed to be a peer to peer payment transaction across borders without involvement expensive money exchangers or regulators but it has been turned into an investment scheme, where are we heading ? Do you think Bitcoin is losing its original purpose of its invention?

May be in some way it is so. But I think that it is not bad that Bitcoin has broaden its' purpose. It is good that people consider Bitcoin as a valuable perspective asset, that is used not only different transactions but like the asset that may give you profit some day. And ideas transform very often. This transformation is for the best I think.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major differences between Bitcoin rally 2017 and 2020 on: November 23, 2020, 07:37:16 PM
Last 2017, the entire crypto space is in hypes, ICO, altcoins, and Bitcoin. But seeing the situation today, only Bitcoin did the rally. Though we saw some potential altcoins had it pumps but only a few of them. I really think that most investors are now focusing on Bitcoin and considered this as a long-term investment unlike we saw before.

And another thing is that this year is perfect for Bitcoin adoption as the pandemic hit that it helps to maintain the demand. And have to notice also that big companies are now considering Bitcoin as an alternative option for the payment system which has a huge effect on the market.

Bitcoin in 2017 was a bit loud and new for lots of people, I mean it became for lots of people like an invention that was worthy and promising. And lots of people tried to catch this gold mine. Nowadays people are more selective, and do not rush into Bitcoin because it is fashionable or lots of people do this. People nowadays think over will it be profitable or not. And of course comparing with 2017 yhere are lots of platforms, services that accept crypto Bitcoin, Ethereum or different altcoins as means for payments or transactions.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rumours that Bitcoin was created in Russia on: November 22, 2020, 10:03:58 PM
There is rumours the btc created in russia.
First btc and cryptocurrency related websites ip addreses was in russia.
The Dan pena world billionaire said Putin is behind Bitcoin.

If its true who might be behind the Putin on this?

May be you can share some link to the statement of this person, that said something like that? It would be interesting and funny to read about such mega theory 😁 because it really sounds very funny. May be quest Who is behind the name Satoshi Nakamoto could come to its happy end?))) Personally I think that these words are more like rumours or trying to attract attention to his personality.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dose meme helps a crypto to be viral? on: November 22, 2020, 01:03:39 PM
In recent time i noticed such thing that in every new project or old project announced meme contest. Where they give such big amount in community for making memes about their project . Now what do you think is this memes really can attract investors?

Creating different memes is just such a tendency of new way of attraction attention from the society. In my opinion it is more like some other things like stickers, smiles or gifes in different kind of messangers. Different projects try to use different ways to attract attention that people use in their communications. And memes are not the exception. And sometimes such memes become popular or even viral, sometimes not. Of course in some way it can help the popularity of some product or project be higher, but mostly not only memes attract attention of investors, the key thing is a really working product or the strong perspective that some day this product will work.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be used instead of paper money on: November 21, 2020, 09:04:23 PM
"Bitcoin will be used instead of paper money"
we all know about Bitcoin. Even a few years ago no one had any idea about the sale. At today's price of 18 thousand dollars, the price of 1 bitcoin. It is a remarkable revolution. Bitcoin needed only one thing. Big companies accept Bitcoin. But it has been
somewhat successful in 2020. Bitcoin is going to be the currency of the future. Its value will increase at such a rate in the next five to six years. Which no one could have imagined. One is just people believing in bitcoin. If you use paper money you can destroy that paper money. but you can never destroy Bitcoin. Which you can't catch. There is no question that you will ever destroy it. This is mainly due to the differences between Bitcoin and paper money.

I am not sure that instead of paper money the BTC will be used in global. There are too many places on the planet where digital money will not come very soon because there are places where the Internet is absent. Of course lots of people nowadays use BTC for buying something, but mostly it is used for investment. And in the crypto world there are also may happen things like loosing keys, or wallet may be hacked snd so on. Every direction has its pros and cons.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: November 21, 2020, 08:51:35 PM
Bitcoin as a Decentralized Cryptocurrency has no physical structure just like the bank. It’s basically stored in a digital wallet/account being operated from a mobile device and its security embedded there also. In creating Defi wallet or block chain account no available section for next of kin or third party details Its always advised to keep Recovery Phrase details secret  in save location, these will help in recovering the wallet.

Literally bitcoin details remain secret and personal to me. If I continue to keep my details secret of what use would it be to me when I’m no more and my love ones can’t benefit from my bitcoin? Here is my question what happens to the bitcoin of someone who died and didn’t disclose his/her wallet details to anyone? please I need response . Would the bitcoin be abandoned in the wallet forever?? Would it be a waste of bitcoin?

It is a pity, but there is a great risk, that your Bitcoins will die also, in case you will not present or give your keys to the wallet may be somehow via making a will. But even in such case you should think over where your keys should be kept till that sad moment. In order to exclude the risk of  information leak. And of course your children should be ready and instructed how to use the wallet and Bitcoins on it.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not Sure On Whether To Buy Crypto Or Not? on: November 21, 2020, 08:19:29 PM
On the fence about buying crypto? Or about buying MORE crypto? Here’s everything you need to know about why you should buy more. https://www.tap.global/why-you-should-buy-bitcoin

Good article. But first of all a person should understand for himself what is the concrete aim in investing into Bitcoin or some other crypto currency. To do it because it is fashionable or someone told that it is very perspective it may become not so ideal variant for him in case not to learn in deep before investing assets into whatever it may be.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to securely store your Bitcoin on: November 20, 2020, 09:14:25 PM
First of f all to be extremely attentive before clicking some websites or services, do not keep your data, seeds and keys via email, online messenger or something like that. Do not hold all your assets in one and the only place, do not keep all assets on exchanges even in case they are trustworthy and so on and so on. Everything is really very simple.
289  Local / Трейдеры / Re: Биржа BITTREX on: November 17, 2020, 08:29:13 PM

290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Reinforced by the pandemic on: November 17, 2020, 07:05:44 PM
Bitcoin price behaviour has been somehow similar to stocks and gold during this COVID worldwide crisis.

My question for the crypto community in here: Do you think that the fact BTC has survived the initial dump and rebounded, consolidated, marched upwards, and now standing close to its ATH acted as some kind of reinforcement to the trust investors have in this asset?

In other words, are you now, as an investor more confident about investing in BTC than before the whole crisis started?

May be you are quite right. There is a sense in your words. May be people just saw some perspective in Bitcoin snd crypto, and some alternative comparing with different other investments. And were staying too long at homes people should do something, being jobless in most cases and without opportunities to get wages. So lots of people or remembered about BTCs, or even tried to learn this direction and to go into it, like trying the onliest opportunity that stayed off the influence of crisis that different businesses faced.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Goes Mainstream: Will Facebook And Google Support Cryptocurrency Adoption on: November 17, 2020, 06:56:16 PM
As for the Facebook and Libra we all know all yhis long-long process since 2018. About Google it is teally hard to predict nowadays wheather it will be the massive adoption or may he some list of adopted currencies, or will it be own project. But yet we did not hear some statements according to this situation. In case it will be adoption for lots of coins it may be a really great and pleasant surprise for all us. But I am not sure in it. May be it will happen, but I think it will look like some limited list of coins and projects.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: my situation with bitcoin how it helped me real use case today on: November 17, 2020, 01:56:57 PM
Heard about the first bitcoin transaction? This is the exact reason why bitcoin was created. Most people think it's about making money. Nah! I'm glad you just had a taste of it. The bank could have asked you to bring documents an all but, thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto!

Yeah, Bitcoin and crypto are plenty of opportunities for people. May be nowadays who use crypto often and such transactions are like some ordinary things, have forgotten the taste of first transaction and some kind of freedom that we got with it, but this story reminded us what the most bright benefit crypto gave to lots of users.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used for illegal activities on telegram on: November 17, 2020, 01:46:07 PM
Oh, how long the Bitcoin will exist, so long the different topics like this one will appear again and again. And how long the humans will exist so long the dark net or dark market will be used. The problem is that people try to find how to buy/sell forbidden products or services and the government always find and forbid these channels in order to regulate such processes. And this question is eternal, and the problem is not in Bitcoin at all. As for the dark web. And what governments try to do in case something can be uncontrolled by them - they try to find how to regulate, they try to find levers of influence, like in this situation. They try to find something that wilm give them opportunities to control process.
294  Other / Archival / Re: 6 Most Popular Criticisms Of Bitcoin on: November 17, 2020, 01:21:53 PM
I think that all these points are from people that did not even try to understand what the Bitcoin is and what pros snd cons of it. Of course some statements about volatility for example have the true nature, at least partially, but in most cases rumours happen because people do not completely understand the details and nuances of the Bitcoin ot Blockchain. And very often they do not even try to learn in deep, they just write or say and that is all. The main reason - the lack of knowledge or the lack of desire to learn in deep.
295  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I trust cryptocurrencies? on: November 17, 2020, 01:03:32 PM
Honestly, it seems to me that are some big players that control this industry. I think they mine whenever they want to manipulate the prices. Can you please explain how can I trust crypto more? Thank you

You shouldn't trust anyone, but you may believe in your success. I would say in such a way. Everything depends on not what someone say to you, but are uou ready to try something that may give uou chance to become successful and with growing income. But of course it does not exclude the risk that you may loose, but not because crypto or Bitcoin is bad, but because you did not chose right way or action, or overvalued your knowledge in some direction. The question is - can you trust banks? Or can you trust to your friends whom you gave some amount for holding? There is no guarantee that you will not lose, and it is everywhere. But personally I know lots of people who believed in BTC onecday and nowadays they got everything they dreamt about. But not all from them. So it depends on you first of all.
296  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $318K by December 2021 on: November 17, 2020, 12:51:04 PM
I know that some people believe BTC can achieve much more than we have seen till this far. Just in 1 month the BTC went from somewhere around $11K to +$16K today.

CitiBank Managing Director believes BTC can touch $318K by December 2021. What do you think? Is this really possible?

Read article:
CitiBank Managing Director Says Bitcoin (BTC) Can Touch $318K By December 2021

Personally when I see some predictions like this one, I smile and that is all. Of course this price is too overrated, like lots of predictions similar to this one. Such kind of authors need high ratings I suppose and nothing else. We saw too many of them in the history of Bitcoin, and even from very famous and some influencial persons. But everyone chooses what to believe in or not to.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPals Bitcoin is a scam on: November 17, 2020, 12:20:51 PM
After researching it , I think the while "buy Bitcoin on PayPal" is a scam at best , and could be something more sinister at worst. Basically , you cannot withdraw the crypto , which for me means that it isn't crypto at all. But after doing research , I found that you cannot EVEN PAY another person with it - you're simply buying a token that is linked to the Bitcoin price - what is the value of this ?

I believe that this could be an attack on Bitcoin - I discuss this in detail here : https://youtu.be/bApVhoTemGw

To recap :
- You cannot withdraw your Bitcoin
- You cannot Pay anyone ( ironic ) , so it can't even go to another PayPal account
- You dont own the keys

I understand your thoughts about all of these points you mentioned in your post. May be some your statements are a little bit exaggerated, because scam is very specific and with a narrower concept, comparing with the meaning that people imagine to themselves. But the sense of the Bitcoin on the PayPal wallet personally I do not see at all. What is the purpose for a person from it when the person can not manage his assets on his or her own view.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL ₿itcoin for Life, not for Lifetime. on: November 17, 2020, 07:23:57 AM
Most crypto users are familiar with the HODL (Hold On for Dear Life). It's a good thing if you can HODL. I want to say HODL for dear life, not for lifetime. There is a reason why am I saying that. During the last bull run in 2017, I had more than enough funds to start a real life business by selling my Bitcoin. And to be honest, starting a real life business was too important for me since I was doing a job abroad. But sadly, I was greedy and had been waiting for more bumps. Eventually, I regret and now I can't do anything with that fund since bought a dew worthless shitcoin.

So if I HODL for dear life, then I should sell it for my need. Even I would won more BTC now since there were many opportunities when bitcoin dropped up to $3K.

What's your opinion? Should we HODL for Life or for Lifetime?

Everyone chooses his own strategy and of course according to his requests to his life and his aims or desires. Someone needs money just right now and that is why yhey are in a hurry to get rapid income, someone wants to play for long and is waiting years in order to get more. But as the practice of the 2017 showed us, it is better to HODL for life, because in this case you have the chance to get good income for life in general and for everyday needs well. May be not at once, but after some time you will definitely appreciate it. Personally for me 2017 was a year of losses. Nowadays my thoughts about investing changed a lot after that.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is the future of crowdfunding? on: November 17, 2020, 07:08:33 AM
Well, there are some crowdfunding campaings based on cryptocurrencies but that is still rare. With crowdfunding people try to collect certain amount of money and cryptocurrencies are volatile so that makes it hardee because at the end you might miss some funds. Also, cryptocurrencies are still not great deal regulated so that is another issue. With time that might change but until then majority of crowdfunding will be still based on fiat.

Yes, you ar quite right. Of course, it is great that different projects and companies accept Bitcoin even with such purposes, but taking into consideration the BTC''s price on the market and that the periods in crowdfunding may be different. So you may see on the start of investing one situation and quite another closer to the end of the term. And there are lots of nuances with law regulations and BTC, because crowdfunding imply making agreements between company and investors. Not so many companies or projects because of this reason take such high risks and use more dollars or euro for making agreements with investors, and avoid BTC.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to buy bitcoin, i am new in cryptp..many doubts on: November 17, 2020, 06:32:21 AM
thanks for your answer, probably i have to check with my bank if it is crypto friendly. My point is...i live in Dominican Republic and for example Binance and Blockchain.com are accepted in this country (Coinbase no,  or better accept Dominican Republic just to convert crypto but no deposit and no withdrawal). I do no want to use my banks here in Dominican Republic to transfer ecc. because the fees (if i want to transfer Usd) are huge. For that  reason i would like to use an account in Citi Singapore, because the fees are minimum (in the past i lived in Asia).  For that reason i would like to use that account to buy ecc bitcoin.  If you have some idea please feel free to comment
You can search for local sellers on social media. I am sure you can find any local sellers, and you can check one by one of them. If necessary, you can arrange a meeting with them to buy bitcoin directly face to face, and you can send the money via ATM or your mobile phone if you can access your bank account from your mobile phone. You and local sellers can use bitcoin's current rate, and I think the fee will not be too big because you only buy bitcoin directly from them.

That can prevent you from fills KYC because you don't visit the site/exchange, and you only buy bitcoin from the local sellers. Please do not start with a huge amount of money to buy bitcoin because that can make your bank suspicious with the transaction, but you can make a small transaction. Maybe less than $100-$500 will be fine as a start.

You know, reading the post I thought that good that there are no such problems in my country to buy or sell BTC. We have another nuances, but not of such kind. And after your answer new question appeared. Ok, he bought some BTC amount personally from face-to-face, and this will happen avoid different problems in BTC and laws of his country regulations. But it is very important yo find a trustworthy person to do this in his region. And it may appear a bit difficult. And the difficulty may appear when he will decide to cash it out, because yhere may be nuances with the declaring of ocomes in his region. Personally I think first it should be better to learn in deep all yhe moments before making any steps in this direction.
