1021  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is stocks.exchange a scam? [IT IS NOT - only a little buggy / mediocre support] on: April 01, 2018, 07:05:29 PM
When you make a deposit at stocks.exchange, be prepared to wait at least 8 hours for it to show up in your balance to trade with.  It doesn't matter how many confirmations it has.  I deposited about 0.15 BTC 6 hours ago, it has over 20 confirmations on the blockchain and it still says "processing" on stocks.exchange.  Made me miss what I needed to buy - market moved on.  And I probably have another 6-8 hours before they are in the office to manually release it. One of the worst crypto exchanges on the internet, but not really a scam.

Thank you. I needed to hear that. I have a btc deposit not recieved and more than enough conformations on blockexplorer. (MY BTC deposit is not showing AT ALL.)

PS: Found this tread by googling "stocks exchange review". I saw a video with the owner on youtube the other day. Seems like a regular guy.

PPS: Testing with a small btcz and a small doge deposit. BTCZ showed up immediately. Doge/BTC is still not showing in the wallet after lots of confirmations on blockexplorer.
Seems like some deposits is manually handled (btc/doge) while others are not (btcz).

On to binance and check if my sellorders have been filled. Works like a charm for me so far. So did Poloniex in the beginning.

Weeeee.. Mail recieved "New Deposit to Your Wallet 1 BTCZ was added to your wallet". ;-) So now i only await The BTC and the doge deposit (which is fully confirmed on their respective explorers).

Binance.. All the curves are going down on my favorites. No sell. One of these days.

Going for a walk. Acting like no one is looking. Over and out.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: April 01, 2018, 06:28:07 PM
I bought some bitcoin the other day at a reseller that runs "abuse checks" requiring identification the other day.
Still haven't received the coin (or fraction of a coin). That is how much "legalization" is worth now a days.

They have send the btc now. 21 confirmations and still not showing up at the receiving exchange..

Legalizing bitcoins. (How stupid does it get ?) If spanking don't work i don't know what will.

How much control is needed ?

1025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most common uses of Bitcoin? on: April 01, 2018, 06:14:20 AM
I use it for buying alt coins.

One day i will probably use it for buying some weed on the web.

Anyways. That will take a change of government which is not ranking high on my todo list. It would include fire everyone from right to left.
Even known potheads tends to forget their merits when they get a little power.

Where i live weed is the problem child. Weed and hypocrisy.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRY] Royalties | Cryptonote | Upto 15% Interest on Deposits on: April 01, 2018, 04:40:56 AM
This coin is doing the 1-2 limbo these days. Someone is doubling bitcoins on it.

My bet is that it will be derailed if anyone tries to get a piece of the action.

What do you mean by derailed? Do you mean it will never go up?

No i mean that it will either rise in price or go to zero till you grow old or be delisted.

Claimed 51% attacks is also seen when buyers are in to much "luck". Or eternal wallet maintenance.

You will learn to know the lice on their walk.

Didn't you wonder why cryptopia XRY wallet was in maintenance for at least 22000 blocks ?

Same goes for POS coins. It is often seen that some exchanges wont let the coins leave the exchange so the can keep the POS rewards. Hints. Coindump comes after.

Check how many coins is listed on one exchange and you will get an idea how the coins is traded. Also if someone tells you that binance for example list all the newest coins an alarm bell should ring.

Worst case. An exchange with wallet maintenance and a "known" coin on its own chain. Easiest way to rip of customers on branded POS coins.

I will probably figure something even worse out one of these days ;-) Still in bizz.

BTW. It is snowing here so i am off for some bird balls. You know those greasy corn thingies you hang in a tree for the birds to eat.
1027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what advice? on: March 31, 2018, 10:52:17 AM
Bitcoins. As difficulty goes up resources spend also goes up. The world will run out of resources long before the last coin is mined.

(This is is the part where i need a russian scientist telling me i am wrong)

If you got no kids and don't intent to have any then squeeze the lemon till it is dry.

BTCZ is my best bet these days since it is fairly new. And. I bought a big bag of those yesterday ;-)

PS: For heavens sake. Remember to check wallet status/reputation on the exchange before you do anything else on that matter. The info you will find is the truth.

Show me a total ban of nukes and i will consider buying a lollipop.

PS: Have a ball while you are at it! ;-)

Russia is testing missiles in my backyard. I will keep my distance till they gain sanity.

Not a word about hand grenade sized nuclear weapons.

Well i am not chinese. I am just checking it out.

"Website went down during the review – this is one of our main concerns with 99% of the cryptocurrency exchanges – “What happens if the website goes down?”. The short answer is that you can’t access your trading account. The fact this happened while were making the review may simply be bad luck, but nonetheless does not leave a nice expression."

My impression is that accounts are being messed with during downtime. I noticed that behavior on tradesatoshi when one of my deposits was stolen (Perhaps "went missing" is a better choice of words.).

trade satoshi is running maintenance on the btcz wallet. It has been going on for so long that it can be considered scam.

They wanna sell the coins but they don't want them to leave the house. Resulting in buyers dumping the coins when they find out the can get them out of the exchange.
My personal experience is that they steal deposits too. And is messing with enabling/disabling overall site 2fa for some reason.

Things are generally handled in a way that brings up memories of bitpetite. Some get paid and some get scammed. While some scriptkiddie is pushing the buttons like it was done on laser.online.

I hope we will all learn from this. I paid a small fortune to be in. And afterwoods i had a crazy story to tell :-)

1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EMBERCOIN [X13, POW/POS] on: March 31, 2018, 03:59:00 AM
you can't sell, there is nobody buying

C-patex . EMB/DOGE

I bought 6000 emb for 2.5 doge a moment ago.

The best thing about that exchange. No minimums to rip you of on! I love it.

You bang that butterfly with a hammer. If it makes it it is suitable.

Just a metaphor.

1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fees on: March 31, 2018, 02:19:13 AM
Gdang fee is low today. I bought for 1000 XXX BTC and pay 0.55 XXX in transfer fee.

From a net dealer.

Apropos exodus. I dumped that one after the team made a divorce out of kicking doge out.  The fees are insane on that wallet. Total crazy! Like. Am i being robbed here ? - crazy.
1038  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis mining super bad payouts! on: March 30, 2018, 09:14:31 PM
Genesis mining now recommends taking payouts in ltc so you can get over the minimum requirements.

I take mostly doge for exchange. zcash pays out every day so i stand on that one.
