61  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: Överföring till bank on: February 29, 2024, 03:56:05 AM

Tack!

Coinbase. Du overfører et lille beløb først. Check swissmoney com. Google. Saxo & Firi. Nordnet. Coinify.

Køb din krypto som etn/etf. For bedre bank forståelse..

Edit: Skål!
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Monero - Privacy as the world becomes more dystopian on: February 29, 2024, 03:42:59 AM
I sold my Dash when Monero got delisted. Just saying. Monero was delisted after I sold that first.

Cheers. I get my beer and then a shower. At a loss. Unreported. Notch notch.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was created to reform money and provide financial freedom on: February 29, 2024, 03:31:41 AM
The option is certainly there for people to use Bitcoin in the correct manner if they wish to.  They'll be the rare fortunate ones to gain the privacy and security benefits.  I'll always advocate for taking this approach.  But I think the number of people actually doing it will remain relatively small.  Even if it is safer and more beneficial.
One problem.  Due to every body else happily abiding to Know Your Customer and all other sorts of policies and regulations, us who choose to benefit from Privacy and Security are starting to suffer.  The option to use Bitcoin as it was meant to be used is still there.  But this option is slowly becoming not an option any more if only few of us can spend and receive without giving up personally identifiable information.

That is if you also want a piece of the kings crown on top of the bitcoins. As Fiat.

Tell me. Who pays the roads? What have the Romans ever done for us?
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it letting the bank know that you are a BTC Investor? on: February 24, 2024, 10:43:03 PM
The bank has to make sure it does not gets involved in money laundry. You have to provide proof or stay out of suspicion.

I go on tg and tell them I be legit next year.
65  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: February 24, 2024, 10:28:21 PM
Most casinos that I have played on, don't ask for KYC at the point of registration and even though they are KYC compliant, they still do not take it as a priority to demand for that all the time unless on special cases.
But if a casino suddenly wakes up overnight and asks for KYC only when a player makes a withdrawal attempt,  it will become a targeted attack and if care is not taken, the gambler may not be able to make any withdrawal even if he gets all the necessary KYC material and submitted them.
When things are tried to be done in a casino, we know very well that KYC has to be done, acutely all casinos have to comply with those things, there is no way that things can be backed up with KYC, any casino They ask for the KYC, now when the casinos try to do everything possible to avoid having ugly and bad times, it is better to do the KYC before making a deposit, because when the deposit is made the casino can have the luxury of not approve the KYC quickly, but if they do it before the deposit they are forced to approve it quickly, but it is preferable that the casinos that we choose are the most reliable.

The things that we see is that when the minimum withdrawal is met everyone wants to withdraw their funds, it is the most common thing, and the most unpleasant thing is that we are going to withdraw and that cannot be done because they have to approve the KYC, that to me It takes away my desire, and I don't even go back to that casino, so to avoid this, it is better to comply with the KYC first.

"Hit and run dice". Glad I am out of that now.

Edit. Betfury. I left the LP on. V3. 1%. I am lighting joints on a toaster here.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it letting the bank know that you are a BTC Investor? on: February 24, 2024, 10:06:44 PM

Finally, I told the the official that I am a BTC investor and it was written down behind the bank form I filled for mtge upgrade request. After on, my conscience wasn't at rest because I was wondering i have attracted the bank from monitoring my banks transactions.

Question please: was the official question on me necessary? And was it wrong of me letting her know that I am a BTC investor? My conscience just keep saying "Hello man, you fucked up talking about BTC out there".

No I don't think it's wrong to let your bank know that you trade with bitcoins. In my country it's pretty normal to fill out questionnaires about your knowledge and experience in the financial sector. For the bank bitcoins is just another asset class like stocks, options, futures. For example, without any prior knowledge I wouldn't be able to trade any options. First I would need to request to remove limitations on my accounts. So, telling the bank about my past trading is going to make life more easy for me. Also, when receiving or sending money to crypto exchanges it can help that your bank knows about your trades. The bank is a service provider for you and not a stranger. I wouldn't worry about negative consequences here. Bitcoin trading became very popular in the last few years, you won't be the only client that trades bitcoins.

If you trade it as etf the bank can find the info themselves. The regulatory part will even out over time. Meaning they will have to provide some kind of service. Advanced reporting or something.

BTW. The Gucci is for people who spend their crypto as opposed to selling it.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC hit 1M ? on: February 24, 2024, 10:01:31 PM
Well, I believe that there is a possibility of reaching $100k someday but hitting $1M in the future is quite impossible. Even people are using the DCA strategy but it is too expensive and poor people can't afford it anymore. And even if the demand reaches too high, I couldn't still imagine it, maybe $200k is fair enough. If ever it happens, I don't see any reason that urge people to invest and hold for this won't just it concerning about the price but the hacking incident may give doubts to people.

But anyway, I don't think this is the right board for this topic. I believe this should be on the speculation board Wink. edit

It's up +105882790.15%. From all time low.
68  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Frankfurt chosen as headquarters for new EU anti-money laundering authority over on: February 24, 2024, 09:54:50 PM
Quote
"At the same time, we're addressing risks posed by crypto and the anonymity it enables."
Wherever their headquarters is located doesn't matter, but what is worrying for bitcoiners is how institutions like this attack BTC privacy solutions, as you can see from this snippet above. BTC is just a tool, surely Satoshi never created it to be used for illicit tx's, but any tool in the world can be used both for good and bad. However, i don't think there is a 'threatening' number of people using BTC for money laundering, it has a public and transparent blockchain and is not anonymous, but they still attack BTC like it is the most suitable tool for money launderers.
Indeed, it does not matter where their headquarters are located. The important thing is that they agreed to form the new European authority for anti-money laundering and countering terrorist financing, and this is what is important in the news, not the location of the headquarters.

But on the other hand, as @zasad mentioned, choosing the headquarters in Germany indicates their seriousness because Germany is an influential member of the European Union and has great economic and political importance.

Also, after its formation, European Authority will have the right to intervene in all countries of the European Union regarding Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, even those countries where there are lenient laws regarding Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Second round on a successful trade would be money laundering if the gains from first round was not reported.

After all these years of trading. They can backtrack and bust me for anything now.

That giant HEX sell of that was not reported for example.

PS. I get my beer and make some noise.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please stop blaming "the government" for lack of Bitcoin mass payment adoption on: February 24, 2024, 09:38:07 PM
So I agree with you that btc simpley is not a great way to send money/wealth.

It is  a very good way to get money out of a bad country or a country that becomes bad.

So if you are middle class you should have some in case you need to leave your country.

It is a great deal to own Bitcoin if you need to flee the country.

I don't get it. Thinking.. You don't get money just of the country just for leaving.

Most people is in this shit to get rich. See the paradise of heavens paid out in cold fiat.

I go talk to Judas Priest on youtube. I bet they got a new album coming out soon.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too advanced to get into Bitcoin now? on: February 20, 2024, 10:58:35 PM
If you're looking to invest for gains rather than ideology, I would suggest exploring newer projects with more growth potential.
Investing in a new project can greatly increase your chance of profiting from cryptocurrency but it can also put the investor at risk because there are lot of risks involved with new projects because of no reliability. Bitcoin has more reliability and reputation for newbie investors to invest in. Imagine a new investor following this your advice and choosing to invest in other cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin particularly let's say a new project that is claimed to have great potential and then they lose all their money to a scam. They will be very bitter. Within this period where we expect bitcoins to set a new all-time high, there will be many scam coin projects that will be started to attract new investors who want to make profit, be very watchful and wise.

Biggest risk is if you playing the gains on and you don't report then it make a mess of your next deal. Fresh start. Keep the change.

Financial advisor online. It's not a protected title in my country. "Offshore".

How about you wait for the execution layer to suit your needs?
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoin on: February 20, 2024, 10:44:25 PM
OP the only thing that can be done about those lost Bitcoin is them being found (if possible). Nothing more.

Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more.  Think of it as a donation to everyone.

Reading the main topic that led to this response from Satoshi, I see the OP talking about the coins of users who were trying bitcoin out but never use it again. That’s crazy to think of. Imagine how many Bitcoin they may have lost just to test Bitcoin. Now 1 Bitcoin is worth $51,000! Who would have known?!

Could have been used for trading.

BTW. "Eloncoin". I have "Elon". Matic. MATIC+ELON LP.

I get it for free now. Same goes for BTC. Contracted. So you better find a new cow that wants to be milked. Cheers.

"Cathie Wood - Wikipedia
Catherine Duddy Wood (born November 26, 1955) is an American investor and founder, CEO and CIO of ARK Invest, an investment management firm. Her company has erased $14 billion in wealth over the last decade, making it the leading wealth destroyer among investment firms."

The semi old say you stop trading when you find out the implications.

Clean whistle.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too advanced to get into Bitcoin now? on: February 20, 2024, 09:32:10 PM
ere are saying that “there is no time that is too late for Bitcoin investment” if you have interest in Bitcoin investment, you can do that anytime soon, the price impact should not affect your ambition, it is not too late for investors, this can be your right time as we never can tell what the price Bitcoin will tell in the future or let say in the next halving after this one. Nevertheless, there is no time that is too late for Bitcoin investment if you aim is to hold Bitcoin for long and not to make quick money from it.

Try the ETF's. Broker does the paperwork for you. And just hold.

I started the beer up. Getting undressed.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too advanced to get into Bitcoin now? on: February 20, 2024, 09:26:30 PM
Cryptocurrency prices have increased by 118% compared to last year. Similarly, prices are increasing by almost 83% in the last 04 months. The dramatic history price of Bitcoin peaks and the recent buzz around its upcoming "halving" its only fair to pose the most obvious question in front of us that-
Did the Bitcoin flight already leave investors? or is there still time to buy a ticket?

The attractions of Bitcoin investments has always been double the potential for significant returns and its suggested role as digital gold.Historically Bitcoin has rewarded the bold to investors. For the next "halving" currently on track for April, another bull run seems highly likely. Recent price gains although this potential wave should take Bitcoin to a whole other level as it did after the May 2020, July 2016 and November 2012.

Taxing is "FIFO" here. First in first out. On buy and sell. It is really complicated if your late on accounting.

I get my shower and a beer. Whatever comes first.
