~~ snip~~

Although you said you quit your job for personal reasons, I pray it is not because you want to focus on and learn about bitcoin. Even if you succeed, what will happen if you have learned and understood about bitcoin? Where are you getting the money to invest in bitcoin? Because you don’t have a job, you need to think deeply before taking any steps just to avoid regret.

All I will say is that you are welcome, and I know many have different views of things, but what I will like you to know is that you should always focus on whatever you are doing, you will definitely see a positive outcome. Don’t engage in criminal activity in this forum because you will be caught in the sense that many clever people are also here. I said this is from your first post, it looks like a fiction story that you just created to have the interest of others.

Ultimately, I would like to say to everyone new to the forum. Believe in yourself and believe in what you can achieve. In some time you will see yourself where I am.
Starting from zero to the current rank seems like a long journey full of excitement. I can't forget the first feeling when I received my first merit. My belief was merit is not free. But when I receive one it changes my mindset. I started to learn more via the local community and then started to learn about BTC and relevant technologies, like Blockchain, and Wallet. I did not step into the gambling section as for me they are not good side hustles but no offense if you find them good, It's your choice.

I am into trading, airdrop hunting, and writing, at the moment due to crypto, and due to this forum, I am facing my daily expenses thanks to this forum. My time here was all fun, currently, I am also stuck at this rank don't know why but the laziness is somewhere in me that I am not contributing to enough to get rank fast. The journey is not easy but it's very exciting so keep working you only have to give some time of your day in here and you will learn a lot (newbies or normies).

Welcome to the forum OP! Success is a result from a long term planning and preparation, and so it takes a lot of time. Focus first on exploring and studying the forum first, know the rules so you won’t end up crossing against on it. Take some extended research if it’s really needed, that’s the only way you’ll get to understand the forum topics more. And always be patient, never rush into making some profit decisions because of greed, but take one step at a time. If you think your are good enough in the forum and you’re capable already to create quality posts and share relevant ideas to the discussion, then maybe you can proceed to your next goal on earning.

Well, define success! As someone already wrote, success is a very personal and individual thing and different users likely have a different perception of success.

What do you expect to find here (in this forum)? What goals do you have? What do you want to achieve in this forum?

The sticky post for Newbies - Read before posting --- a lot of topics covered there, try to read and understand them all, this very obvious effort will pay out later!

Also important: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ --- read and understand the rules carefully, you don't want to get in trouble by ignoring those rules!

Don't plagiarize, if you copy/paste or even transcribe something, always include a link to the source, it's that simple.

Some make mistakes and failed to realized what they have done wrong, this is the most annoying part of it because what we don't know we cant prevent it from happening, that is why it is very necessary for us to make sure we know what we are doing and verify for everything to be accurate before submission, no one is above making a mistake, but we can appear in such a way that mistake will have to be far from us.
This is actually what the thread is trying to address, so for anyone who is built in this manner and having come across this thread should begin to form the habit of admitting his/her mistakes. No human on earth is perfect, from our actions to what we say. We might feel very full of ourselves even on what we claim to know better than anyone but on a close view we may be wrong on a side and correct from the other, so when it gets to that aspect where we are wrong then it is expected of us to admit and take corrections.

This correction might not come on a soft ground, probably in a critic manner or from someone that may seem below standard but it is a no excuse not to take those corrections, perhaps there maybe certain repercussions from failing to take those corrections earlier.

What was the reason why you left your job? because you want to go full-time and learn Bitcoin wholly? It isn't recommended if that's what you're planning to do. I have seen people think that they can go full-time and have to leave their jobs because of how optimistic they are. I have nothing against those people or those who have plans like that now. It is that the market is too volatile and you might not take it. So, I highly advise while you're learning with all of the links and references given to you hear to still find another job.

Such a statement will never help you as campaign managers do check what you are writing. It will only make you look like a negative participants since you are already in a signature campaign. This is the only forum where you can earn Satoshi's for what you write, do not let your emotions jeopardize your earning capabilities. There are a lot of good posters with high ranks that are now out of the signature campaign because of various reasons, they will be willing to replace you if your campaign manager thinks to replace you after this reply of yours.

I'm just saying what's in my head, sorry buddy if that makes me seem unrealistic, but that's how it is, i even got more from my weekly trading that i did. I joined the signature campaign specifically in gambling because i have some knowledge in gambling, so what's wrong with maximizing what i can get?

Grin Grin I would have taken it serious if the statement is from someone who is not in a campaign.

Grin Maybe this is just a bit of a coincidence.

I'm new here, someone brief me about this bitcointalk.org some years ago but I never show any interest, base on the nature of my job because they don't allow us to have access to our phone for security reasons in the company but I have quite the Job for some reason best know to me, am fully ready to learn bitcoin and cryptocurrency, and rules and conditions that governed the forum. Hope am in the right discussion section to create this topic? or someone can help me move it to the right discussion section, am happy to be here lovers of bitcoin.
You didn't really need to create this topic because you can easily find details about the forum if you pay close attention to details. However, you are welcome to the forum. If you desire to learn about Bitcoin, you are on the right forum because this platform contains almost every information about Bitcoin. If you keep visiting and reading materials on the forum, you will be knowledgeable about Bitcoin within a short time depending on your dedication. Learning about the forum will also take some time because the all rules are not in a single document. You have to take some time to read several threads and observe how things are done in the forum.

I hope you will get another job because this platform is just a forum and shouldn't be seen as a job.
