I see a lot of people talking about it and have read more than a dozen posts.  People talk of setup and lower hash rates etc....

For the same cards:  say 7970 /  5990 / 6990 --- what kind of earnings could you bring in compared to BTC?

There are many btc calc (of varying worth) out there - but i haven't found one for lightcoin, or a hash rate list for cards either.

Please help inform someone worried about the coming hash glut with BTC.

Try searching for a LITEcoin calculator instead... (it's Litecoin not Lightcoin Cheesy Wink)

Diviside by factor 1000  ex : 1 Mh/s for BTC  = 1 Kh/s for LTC

Some hash higher than against BTC other higher for lightcoin than btc???  I've only read of lower rates/ complaints

Disagree a bit - but both show Light coin to be more profitable than BTC?  Anyone finding this true on GPU?  The numbers are so variable its hard to be exact - just looking for general experiences.

Bump - to see what I'm missing here.

Should all GPU guys switch to Lite coin?  According to the calculators it seems so?

Yes, Litecoin is more profitable. 85.4% more profitable currently.

I'm surprised there isn't more talk on the "btc" area of the  board about people switching over!!

Gotta check this out. I guess and find some light coin pools....
