The price keeps going volatile as the halving comes closer. People are expecting the price would reach 1000$ at the time of halving, but looking at the price right now, I'm not sure it will reach that value.
But, I might be wrong, because bitcoin price is unpredictable. Let's see what would happen next.
Nothing happened. It did not reach $1000 or even close to that.
It dropped right before down to $618. Which was a shock to most people who bought a lot just days before.
That's three separate threads from earlier in the year about the halving you've just bumped/necroed. And that's just the ones I've spotted. What are you playing at? It's going to be confusing for newer forum members if they see lots of discussions about old news and are mistakenly led to believe it's happening now.
