Lol I get it OP but here's what you need to say to them: 95% of the population keep balances on credit cards. Those 95% are not using a free credit card. They're actually paying 2% or 3% a month on their balance (29.99% APR is horrible). Also, people pay a monthly fee for bank accounts in Canada so I'm assuming most cou tries have that too. I do know some cou tries have free banking though. Well technically if you want an online only bank they're available in Canada too for free. Either way there are going to be transaction fees because transactions use energy which costs someone money. If you aren't being charged transaction fees it's because you're getting fucked on a higher interest rate mortgage or something like that. Bitcoins let you get ahead, they're the wave of the future and they don't lose 2-3% of their value every single year, year over year until it's a worthless piece of shit.

I honestly don't even bother. Grin

If anyone asks me, I tell them, explain what I know about it, how I use it, what could be done with it, and so on. And, if they're truly interested, I try to guide, help, teach what to use, what to avoid, etc.

But, for me to take the initiative to convince others to try/get into bitcoin? No thanks.

I only share it to those truly interested and to those I care about.
As for others, they don't care, don't want to know, don't bother to try, and that's on them.

I understand how the OP feels. Whenever I try to explain about Bitcoin I find immense resistance, people do not want to think about the future if the gift for them "already works".

I am also with you, because when i was know about bitcoin, than i was very excited to introduce the bitcoin to others. But unfortunately, in my country, bitcoin was and now unique thing, that's why my friends and even my family members avoid to listen about bitcoin, even they always said to me, it will be fake and may be you lost your amount. Than i decided i don't care about anyone and i started work with bitcoin and since when i don't tell to anyone about bitcoin. Because bitcoin is good for me, and i don't want to introduce the bitcoin to others.
