Hi. Has anyone used a decentralised exchange that they can recommend?
If you are using it to trade ethereum asset and it seems etherdelta still become the best choice  and for the waves asset you can try to use waves decentralized exchange site but the decentralized exchange that trade the fiat pair has very low volume.

I tried using nxt's decentralized asset exchange. It is already built-in on their wallet. You can just trade assets within the nxt blockchain though. I think atomic swaps will highly supercedes their kind of dex. Nxt legacy tech makes me remember times when I was still starting out in crypto.

Wait for blocknet in a few weeks that will be the one. Atomic swaps is the only way to go.

I am so loving decentralized exchange so far! Dex is the best thing that ever happened to crypto since the day of Satochi Nakamoto! In the very near future, there will be increased regulation and laws! It is just a matter of time, centralized exchange will soon disappear.

Bitsquare is a decent decentralized exchange, and works fine for me. Outside the US, buying bitcons via Coinbase becomes expensive. For bitcoin to fiat exchanges, Bitsqare is good.

I guess etherdelta is the best one. Nearly all tokens are getting added there somehow. Caps are great. No fees at all. Its only problem: it is too slow. It takes ages to load but I am ok with it.

I never used a decentralized exchange before. Are they easy to use? What are the main advantages in using them? Is it the absence of fees or things like that? I do believe they should be more secure, because since they are decentralized then there is no reason to hack them, only single users would face the risk of being hacked I guess, but besides that an fees, I don't see other advantages. I also don't know how regulation will work with them. I'm guessing it will be impossible to ban or suspend them, and users will be able to trade despite what governments say.
Also, how is the liquidity in these exchanges?

Still new at this topic, so I will keep an eye on the recommendations on this thread, and I hope you can share some light on these questions as well.

shapeshift.io does look interesting even though they are centralized (i.e. not peer to peer).

It really does seem to be quite indirect to convert XMR to cash. Probably need to do XMR to BTC/ETH to USD...

I've tried using BarterDex, Bitshare, Waves DEX, and Bisq. All of these are decentralized exchanges. Although of the four, my best recommendation is Waves DEX because it's easy to use and most of all, they only ask a small fee for transactions. Nevertheless, you should also try BarterDex by SuperNet. Check them out at this link here. It's a good open source exchange with great support and liquidity.

Hi. Has anyone used a decentralised exchange that they can recommend?
I've tried etherdelta couple of times so I can recommend only this one. If you create account there don't forget to write down/copy somewhere your private keys, and what is also important you will always need ether in that wallet because every transaction you make will require gas.

Barterdex GUI is coming soon, right now its working on ugly GUI. I think this will be a game changer in Decentralized exchanges. I guess after bitter experiences with Bittrex, Polo, its high time we need  decentralized exchanges which really works.
