I think that making such a donation makes you happy. And if I have a bitcoin balance, I would invest in a charity rather than sending an odd number into a purse with the most bitcoin property.

Even in a fictitious scenario where he looses access to his fortune he can't beg for Bitcoin because he has the skill and knowledge to think of another money making invention
Well he does an extreme knowledge and skills if its for coding and technology but as a support and gratitude to his creation, why you wouldn't just give him an appreciation through sending few of your sats, mbtc, bitcoin.

Any amount will do. Think of it on where are you right now if you never get into bitcoin. A simple tip would make him happy for sure and going to help him to rise up again from bankruptcy.

Let's create a fictitious scenario where Satoshi sends a message in a way that can be validated/verified < PGP key > and he notify all of us that he is bankrupt and has no access to his coins.

If this is verified, would you send bitcoins to Satoshi, like people did with Andreas Antonopoulos?

We have seen people sending tips to Satoshi's known Bitcoin addresses and to date, bitcoin’s maiden address has received 16.7 BTC in tips, worth around $107 600. <This has never been claimed>

Will you send bitcoins and if you do, why?

If you will not send bitcoins. Why?
Well for all the profit i earn in crypto trading and signature campaign participation ,and all the coins and tokens in my folio ,i believe satoshi deserves to hve some tips from creating this great innovation for the human raise and if may have a chance to be with him,I definitely treat him some places for generosity

A lot of things had happened since then and many more changes will take place due to bitcoin, altcoins, and blockchain.
For me I will send as a thank you gift, because of his invention lot's of people's around the world  their life changed  it become successful and most of the countries the economy it change and the poverty it reduced. Because of his creation my life now it become more brighter.

If I have a bitcoin in hand, I will not give it to him, because many people are hunting him if my fortune is in his hands it will be very dangerous.

If I know Satoshi bitcoin address I will not send him even a .0001 bitcoin because he did not need it. In fact if we are connected I am the one who will ask him to send my even a smalll amount of bitcoin. I dont want to be a sarcastic. Honestly I do not going to shy to accept if someone give me even a small amout of bitcoin specially if it os Satoshi because I know he have a lot of bitcoin. But I think it is not a good feeling if your bitcoin is came from other people because for me I will appreciate bitcoin even small or big amount as long as I will work for it kn my own.

I won't send him even a single satoshi. Why? because it is impossible for Satoshi Nakamoto to lose the access to his coins. He is the developer and it sound weird if he send such message that stated he is bankrupt and got no access to his coins. I will certainly doubt the validity of the message.

He makes me better so why not ?

Nobody expect bitcoin become so popular right now because the way bitcoin works really useful especially for global transaction purpose.
If satoshi is a person, he/she deserved more than donation, we can meet up and make a great colaboration !

If Satoshi is a real person and I know his bitcoin address , I will never send any of my coin to him because he had a lot of Bitcoins , it's about 1 MLM Bitcoins . And If I send  to him , I think he will never know who I am,   and he don't really need a bit of my bitcoin . I think Satoshi is a mysterious character and he is anonymous like Bitcoin , we may not know who he is.

If I ever his wallet I will not any amount of bitcoin because I know he already have a lot of bitcoin and if I know his I will check it so that I can if he still active. However, no one knows what his bitcoin address so he still anonymous. Lastly, I hope in the near future real Satoshi Nakamoto will reveal himself.

Threads like this make me wonder if in 100 years there will be an official Crypto religion, with incense and observed holidays where the practitioners tithe 1 satoshi to the memory of their lost bitcoin addresses. So sayeth Satoshi, on the 8th blockchain confirmation thou shalt have thy good fortune.

As a sign of gratitude of how Satoshi Nakamoto contributed to a decentralized cryptocurrency and a blockchain technology to the world where it makes a change to an IT and Finance Industry and other IT dependent intstitutions, i would voluntarily send a portion of my bitcoin earnings to his bitcoin address as part of continuing development for the better and stronger position of bitcoin for many years to come.

If did answer this question when i meet with the cryptocurrency world in 2015 i would send him if i knew his bitcoin address. But now i would never send him, ever! Don't get me wrong, it is not about the bitcoin price, it is because of the uncertainty. Now i am not sure that Mr. Satoshi Nakamura really exist. He never showed up and told nothing. He made the bitcoin and millions of people needs to see him. But he is not here. Maybe he is never exist.

I would not send Satoshi bitcoins, because I don’t have them  Wink
In fact, it is difficult to believe in the reality of the origin of such events and the bitcoin creator is unlikely to ask for help, because there would immediately be a million fraudsters who would claim that each of them was Satoshi.

First of all, I don't think that Satoshi is a real creator of bitcoin, I prefer to think that it was someone else,
Like some 'government from the shadow'  project. That's why I would send nothing to someone that claims that he is Satoshi.
Second of all, I really have a problem to believe that behind validate addressee is really that someone that claims he is. I am skeptical because there is so many ways to  be cheated online today. That's practical approach. In theory, I would be sad if I would miss the opportunity to help someone that technically helped me to make some profit...

If I have to decide ... I wouldn't send any coin on that particular reason...

Of course, why not, at the end of the day he did something extremely selfless by providing us with this technology at no additional cost, so I wouldn't mind donating some of my investment, maybe not much but I wouldn't have much trouble with them, because I know many other people would be willing.
