Hi there,

Our general advice would be the following:
- Only invest what you can afford to lose;
- Pay close attention to the BTC (the price movement of the BTC affects the price movement of the altcoins);
- Diversify your crypto investments;
- Take home some of your profits to make them safe;
- ALWAYS Do your own research;
- Try to learn from your mistakes;
- Set stop losses for short-term trading;
- Always double-check the ticker (many of us remember when people bought Bitconnect Coins when they thought they bought Bitcoin Cash)
- Don't try to time the market; and
- HODL.

You can read more about each advice here: https://www.cryptowisser.com/getting-started-with-crypto/

Please also check out our exchange page here: https://www.cryptowisser.com/exchanges/

Good luck!

All the best,

First advice it's check ways to earn cryptocurrency. It's trading or bounty/airdrop programms. In bounty you can participate in different campaigns and get tokens which you can exchange to btc/eth/fiat.

There is some advice given to beginners in crypto currency :
1. Be really prepared, where the most remarkable thing about crypto-currency is that there is a lot of information about them. Moreover, the
    investment world is also trying to simplify the situation, making bitcoin more accessible to traditional investors. The introduction of
    investment tools such as futures, will help people understand how the crypto currency works.
2. Be careful, where any Investment is risky, but in the case of bitcoin, this risk is slightly higher due to its volatility.
3. Effective diversification of investments, which as a rule, beginners first hear about bitcoin, but in this world there are about other crypto
    1500 currencies, and some of them grow at a price much faster than bitcoin.
4. Do not store tokens on the exchange, where In the crypto space, there are still many hackers and thefts, and it is important to be careful.
    Not difficult to destroy the lives of hackers. The main recipe is simple: use exchange only for exchange. After you purchase crypto
    currency, transfer money from the exchange to the wallet that you control only.
5. Prepare for the ups and downs, where Bitcoin is known for its instability - so many traditional investors come from it in horror. Even a
    strong interest rate cut does not mean that an irreversible disaster has occurred, but it's hard to keep thinking logically when you enter
    the red zone quickly.

My advice for you is to learn and acquire the knowledge and skills needed before committing your real cash into it. Meanwhile as you already have some crypto, I think you can hold it and let it grow, while you learn. Let your dream be to become a pro trader and trade your own money.

But your account has been just created and it is literally your first message! How did you manage to earn something from bounties without even a Bitcointalk account? Or is it your alt account? Then you should know that cheating bounties with alts are forbidden.

My advice...if you aren't in use of money as at the time of this reply..you can pick up some good altcoins for investment and great profit...look for low cap coins below 10mill and hodl for long ...this should give you at least x50 of your money

I just got $250 in BTC for a bug bounty. What should I do with it? Hold, or invest elsewhere?
I already bought 8 ETH a few weeks ago.

In need of advice. Don't really know how to get into crypo, but I definitely want to. Could somebody point me in the right direction?

Edit: Also, can somebody enlighten me as to what /r/BTC and /r/Bitcoin disagree on? I've looked at both sides, but I honestly still don't know what both sides are.

Find out good ICO's and invest on it. you can gain good profit. But remember find good projects not scams or pyramid projects.

Bitcoin and etherum are one of the best coins which you can hold this year, cause prices now are going up and in my opinion they will be doing so for some next weeks so hodl in your wallet and after that you could ask what to do but remember that the most important decision is only up on you.

Find out good ico's and invest on it. It's the best option. If you are not investing on other thing HODL your remaining currencies.
