Hi, I am looking to buy a miner. I want to buy anything upto 1 terrahash.  I can't afford anything that is 1 terrahash or over. I've been looking at the avalon 4 module unit. What else is there?  Thanks

Nothing.  You cannot buy a miner right now that isn't small (less then 100 giga) unless its second hand.

You can get a ASICMiner cube, those are going for 1 BTC for 30-38 gigahashes, or you can wait and get the RedFury USBs when the next batch gets going (before Jan).

Else, try to find something second hand.  DOn't pay more then 35$ per gigahash if you want to see your money back.

everything you can buy (cointerra, KNC, blackarrow...) are all preorders.  You won't see them till Feb or March (at the earliest).

Getting into mining right now is risky, you have to really know your stuff.

Without a serious "weapon" like a Neptune (price ~ $12,000,000 )  you will be always outgunned as miner.
Consider to invest in coins instead of mining. The BTC price will raise again and you will make a nice profit.

best thing u can do is to buy a scrypt miner with 2-4 gpus. There is a lot less risk involved in doing this as there is always a marked for used gpus and gpus hold there value a lot better than ASICs. Asics loos there value fast due to the diff increase and that they cant be used for anything else than mining.

Where did you see the price 12 million?

They did an existing customer batch for 12 or so, and a new customer batch for a little over 15, so total 28 million in sales.
