Project zero a module for mining and to stake coins

Heard of this raspberry pi modification you will able to mine from although at a very low hashrate and be able to stake any sort of proof of stake coins.
It consumes very little power compared to a barebone pc system or even a laptop would so it could be a better alternative to have this instead of having a system running 24 hours a day just so to collect your reward for staking coins.
Looks pretty promising when they do actually have it ready to release after working out any bugs they might have.

for staking this would be good, but why not just use a Pi you configure yourself?

I think the final product will be more suited for staking POS coins ,not so much for minning.Low cost micro minning/staking device and low electricity consumption. That will be nice. My fear is if they can get it free from bugs and really functional.

Yes it more suited for staking because as the above member mentioned it doesnt mine too much due to the low computation power. It was just put in there for speculative coins to show they could be mined with the minimalist of power consumption to do so.
It is project for innovation not to make you a lot of coins. Still worth it for $13 the inventor said they would be selling for. Wouldnt you think? As a raspberry is $25 last time I was shopping around for one. They might be less now but this one is fully programmed with ubuntu and ready to use.
As mentioned it runs at a lower wattage then a full pc or laptop would if you are wanting to just have a module for staking particular coins.

As far as I know masternodes have requirements solely based on functions they perform for their particular ecosystem.
And since some projects have different level of masternodes they only go up from the basic requirements.
I remember doing research on one a while ago and they said you need something with more then 8 gigs of ram on the system and have 2 cores for the minimum lower end of the masternodes.
These small versions dont have this processing power to be able to sustain a masternode.

This is another one of those projects where yet again something needlessly gets shoehorned into a raspberry pi.  NAS devices, firewalls, etc, are all terrible uses for the overpriced and underperforming raspberry pi.  Good luck staking anything with one of these things.  You will spend more money replacing sd cards than you will ever make staking.  As far as mining goes, these things are so slow they will be incapable of submitting a single share.  This guy seems like a dime store voskcoin

You are getting what you pay for compared to getting a vps which will cost you $5 per month to run with the 1 core and 25 gb hd 1gb ram minimum to be able to run even for a small projects masternode.

 I think that's a little bit of an exaggeration. Take a Veil as an example. As it was explained to me its Zerocoin stake/spend procedure requires powerful CPU, even mine old Intel Pentium B950 is terrible at its  job and I doubt  a new  ARM core  will be able to perform  better.

This guide is absolute non-sense and is nothing more than an advertisement to get you to use their referral link for shared hosting. Generally a masternode requires nothing more than a certain number of coins staked and 24/7 uptime.  But this is kind of a null argument.  If you are staking thousands of dollars worth of coins (which is what it will cost unless you are staking an absolute shit coin)  you will have enough common sense to not run masternode from a $10 sbc.  Even if you are just staking, you should also have enough common sense not to do this.

I know after reading an article if any MN has a different requirement. based on your opinion and i have done deep research about that and i found an interesting article about that. But as far as i know, most of MN needs 1 - 2 GB of ram to run it based on the article that i have read it recently.

Im feeling worried to run MN in my VPS and that's why im looking for an alternative way for that.

indeed, when you want to do mining you have to be able to see the specifications you need, don't just buy because it's very risky, it's better to ask first as explained at this time that memining must have devices that support each other.
