i got in bitcoin at 400$ after i recogonzied the huge potential behind it,  after this i bought litecoin at 1$ and still holding it for another decade!!

in this case it's different, this coin will introduce the wealthy people out there to cryptocurrency in general , specially to XSV..im sure they will not dump it for a few dollars. On the contrary, once they recognize the huge profits they can do in crypto and what an amazing world is it, they gonna support the coin strongly..and they could actually use it for transactions between them and so...

1. I'm pretty sure the people of SV are aware of crypto for the most part they have heard of bitcoin.

2. A few people from here can not subsidise handouts to 1000's of people to an extent to spark any new interest. Especially wealthy peoples interest.

3. If they did look into crypto currency they will likely invest in a different crypto currency to that one. 

First thing i would do if i looked into it would be to cash out straight to a coin like bitcoin, litecoin quark nxt or doge. They will probably just go straight to fiat if in the fantasy there was enough value to make it worth cashing out which there will not be.

I clicked your link and checked the orderbook and trading history. Damn, it's thin. The spread is huge and the volume is piddling: only one trade worth more than 0.1 BTC is the last six hours atm. If there's any excitement, it sure hasn't reached the exchange.

I read the announcement which said they were only picking wealthy households to distribute it to because they were less likely to need the money and dump. Maybe it will skyrocket like you say.

Wouldn't Silicon Valley be one of the main demographics that understand Bitcoin? I would assume that out of every location globally who has heard of Bitcoin, Silicon Valley would probably be number 1. The only reason I could see to make this coin is for the Dev's pockets.
