If we follow OP argument, you will get into big Trouble, we should ignore his position totally. Reason being that he failed to add that The Nigerian government banned crypto and other related stuff. So you telling a Nigerian police officer that you're a Bitcoin discusser or Bitcointalker is enough evidence to jail you.  His analysis are valid but not in Nigeria where the security agencies are uneducated and analog in nature, they to have no knowledge about the happening in the world, they are still operating with old modern.

The world has left Nigeria, at a time where countries are embracing Bitcoin and crypto reserve this poor country banned crypto from operation. As a forum member keep your mouth shut , tell no one about your source of income not even the uneducated police.  Have other tangible businesses for your back up, Incase of any harassment you have something to show for it. This country is a mess, once a young man is doing well, you're a suspect. Because the government doesn't want the progress of the youth, they like to see us hopeless so we can depend on them. If you don't use your head in this country they will use it for you.  Keep your mouth shut about your crypto funds.

Please get it corrected, because Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies is not banned in Nigeria, but the only thing they did was CBN restricting banks from executing Bitcoin related transactions. And just of recent this year April, a new law was made to recognize cryptocurrencies as a security for the first time in this country, as shown below in the image. So please note that Bitcoin is not totally banned for we country. While secondly, regarding the identity I suggested we ought to be called, let's not forget that it's only due to bad government and corruption that a police man will hear you identify yourself as a Bitcoin talker or enthusiast who makes his legit money by promoting Bitcoin and writing articles for Bitcoin related projects and still arrest you. And since we have found ourselves in such environment, it's only best we use our heads to avoid problem.

Its funny to think there are still some people in this country that thinks our law enforcement officers are reasonable enough for you to explain BitcoinTalk to them. You come call yourself a Bitcoin Discusser join, dem for don throw you like one or two slaps to put your mind say you be yahoo boy. I think the best thing to do is to say what will get you out of there as quickly as possible.
