NEED TO USE MORE PIGIN IN NAIJA LOCAL BOARD

I don go through many post wey people dey make for this our Local board and I come dey notice say we no dey too use Pigin English well well for this our forum and I think say enfor better make we try dey do more post for here with pigin English as na im be our identity as local board.

I just say make I go through our history and know as oyibo take gree say they go give us local board and I come see say our great men really work hard before oyibo gree give us local board and I even see say e take more than 3 years before our legends @Mpamaegbu, @Charles Tim, @CryptoprenuerBrainboss, @Igebotz and many others fit succeed to get a local board for us from 08/02/2019 to 21/12/2022.

D request was still not granted, dis wan na becos Dem say d local boardthread speack more of English pass pidgin and also d activity from d local thread still no reach to tay open Dem own local board. Some oga Dem con advice say make we people Dem try keep d board more active and if d statistics show more activities maybe den admin go reason d request.

Na why e go good make we dey appreciate their efforts because e no easy to pursue our local board for over 3 years and succeed. If we go try dey use more pigin for here, e go help to make our talk come down to our own understanding. If you go check the history of our local board you go see say theymos even complain about am say they no get enough post for Pigin because English na general language na.

Make we dey try our best, I know say many people here go school well well and many fit be professors, but make we no forget our root. As a Nigerian, na Pigin be our street identity because they no dey blow grammar for street.

I think the reason why the request was denied in the past is because all of the Nigerians On Bitcointalk speak English and admins probably didn't think a Pidgin English board would have many users. But if the number of Nigerians is much higher now, it makes sense that you guys have your own local. However, if your local would allow users to write in English as well, the admins might turn down the idea. A Pidgin English only local would have better chances.

see advise wey this oyibo even gives during the period. E go good make we keep to it and try to dey post more with Pigin so that we go dey even identify when a person wey no be Naija dey form Naija with us.

Theymos did not give any reason he did not give us local board fast. I told people in the past that we need more activities so that our local thread will be pinned and later we are going to be given local board. They thought I did not know what I was posting at the time. But that was what actually happened.

We post both in English and Pidgin and nothing changed that. Did you read the rules of this local board before posting this?

1. Only Naija Pidgin and English is allowed

You people should respect the rules of this local board and not do something contradictory to it.

Posting in English is not the reason we were not given local board fast.

The largest Nigerian forum is even in English. I mean Nairaland.com.

And also base on the advice wey @Pmalek give before in 2021.

If I will go by my opinion, I don't see a reason for creating this thread, because you're only pointing at every reason of raising back a dead horse on this regard, this has been a thing of the past of the local board and it's of no issue again, so why are you trying to instigate for unnecessary arguments on this, i will advise you lock the thread and stop taking us back or reminding us of how we've fought in the past.

It is wrong. What we needed was activities and more people. We have it and we were given local board. Some people suggested that, not that it is the reason. It is very wrong.

Even though I no aim at any argument, na just suggestion we I no even mean to say make no body dey use English. If you read am well you go see say na opinion say e for better make we try dey make post for Pigin and e no mean say na all your post go be Pigin. If we no fit support our own Local language make we no also kick am. To post for Pigin no be compulsory but if you Sabi post for pigin then make you post. If moderator feels say the advise no make sense, they fit lock the thread or if they advise me to lock am, I go lock am. But na our language be our heritage.

The thing be sae, use the language that is best suited for you. If na English, use am. If na pidgin, use am. All join, and welcome for our LB.

The major concern to look out for, na to write wetin your fellow Nigerian go read and understand wella without having difficulty in understanding the message you d pass so. For example, as I d here so, if the post is made with pidgin, I go reply am with pidgin. But if the post made on the LB na correct English, I go reply am with English so. Like that, I go d give meaningful replies d go without a problem
