Maybe this will motivate the government to finally root out the sympathetic elements in the ISI and go clean out that rat's nest in the mountains once and for all.

The sad part is if this happened almost any where else in the world, the world would come to a halt.

Peshawar school attack: Taliban's 'revenge' for Malala Yousafzai's Nobel Peace Prize

The Taliban has killed dozens of children at a Peshawar school in a revenge mission for Pakistani schoolgirl activist Malala Yousafzai being awarded the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize.

Ahmed Rashid, an expert on the Islamic militants, told the BBC the insurgents had various reasons to attack the school, one of which was to send a message to the supporters of Malala, who advocates education for women and children.

In response to the events at the school in Pakistan, education campaigner Malala has condemned the "atrocious and cowardly" attack.

As reported by the Guardian, she said: "I am heartbroken by this senseless and cold-blooded act of terror in Peshawar that is unfolding before us.

"Innocent children in their school have no place in horror such as this.

"I condemn these atrocious and cowardly acts and stand united with the government and armed forces of Pakistan whose efforts so far to address this horrific event are commendable.

"I, along with millions of others around the world, mourn these children, my brothers and sisters - but we will never be defeated."

This kind of thing frankly just keeps on reinforcing my hatred of religion, what a bunch of shit heads, I'm generally the most passive person you could ever meet but when it comes to these assholes I seriously doubt they have any intention of peacefully co-existing with other people.

Quote
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Peshawar, where the authorities declared three days of mourning. Mr. Sharif announced an emergency meeting of all political parties in the city for Wednesday. In a statement, the foreign ministry said it was “deeply shocked” by the attack but that the government was undeterred in its fight against the Taliban.

These terrorists are enemies of Pakistan, enemies of Islam and enemies of humanity,” the statement said.

Well said, they're(including ISIS) enemies of humanity and they should be cleaned from this world. It looks like Abu Ghraib tortures made them a monster, if somebody made these monsters, they should defeat them with their hands...

Religions, as long as they are on a personal level in individual people's heads are harmless. (For the record, I'm an atheist.) It's when poverty meets religion and is funnelled by big money towards a destructive goal, when real trouble begins.

“Dark times lie ahead of us and there will be a time when we must choose between what is easy and what is right.”
“We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.”
“It is important to fight and fight again, and keep fighting, for only then can evil be kept at bay, though never quite eradicated.”

The defenseless are massacred with impunity.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

This is really cruel thing to do, to kill innocent, small children.
Pakistan authorities was giving shelter to talibans in Pakistan since 2001, had silence agreement with them...
I think, now there will be no peace between them...

It's quite interesting really because even by the standards in the middle east, groups like the Taliban and ISIS are becoming far too extreme to the point that the people who would otherwise support them to fight against the U.S see these kind of slaughters and stop co-operating because they are just crazed murderous psychopaths.

People in the middle east may well still remain hostile to the U.S but it seems obvious to me that they're getting sick of these guys going around and murdering their children all the time who weren't even involved in anything and just going about their lives.

Another awful, awful day in the world. The level of evil needed to commit such a heinous act is astonishing. School Children should never be targets. I don't know what I would do if I were in any of the parents shoes in Pakistan but I hope they can find some level of peace or comfort in the coming weeks although its doubtful.  Cry

This terrorists really don't care about the civilians and the innocent people. Knowing that the attack killed many people, with most of them being children, is really saddening. Maybe it's time for a massive clean-up of these ill-heartened retards who takes pleasure in killing innocent people.
