By using an analogy I see Eth like a big and heavy general purpose computer, it can do everything you program it for but it is not portable and you can't customize the hardware. Nxt is more like a barebone computer where you can add or remove hardware components to suit your use case. Other coins are like small Asic computers specialized in certain functions. There is a market for them all. And superNet is like a network between them.

Meme's a meme bud. It shows you're shook.

I don't have time to care about nautilushit and the greekshit. Literally, no one cares. There is no breakthrough, just murky language about gold and assets and UK legal entities.

In the meantime, ethereum is reinventing crypto.

The real thing isn't the nautiluscoin here, but the flexibility of the NXT ecosystem. What ETH currently can do that's something what NXT, Qora and a couple of other coins just doing fine since "ages" between many other things. So, please keep the marketing BS for the noobs. Most of us here are interested only in facts, and in fact ETH going to be a great stuff, but not right now. So calm down and get back to the rational thinking.

ETH already has more Devs building on it than the other 2.0 platforms combined.

I've been following several Gen 2.0 forums...
To see if they host intelligent, objective threads about the ETH launch...
Because this tells me a LOT about the communities and whether they are ghettos or have a future.

NXT comes in last... ETH discussion is forbidden... everyone else is RIDICULED...
It's a closed ghetto that stopped growing 12 months ago and is doomed... the price of NXT says it all.

Bitshares hosts both an intelligent thread on ETH... and another one on QORA...
BTS also tolerates a HUGE amount of constructive critricism about BTS which leads to positive change.

MAID is the easy winner... viewing ETH as a complimentary system with many threads like these:

SUMMARY

The ETH launch has made me completely rethink Gen 2.0... and move NXT to dead-end status.

The BEST post I have read in months! Agreed to everything you have said. NXT VOLUME is pretty much only traded on Polo, and being one of their full time trolls, I can only say that we have absolutely no interest in NXT... NONE! And guess what, nobody outside of the crypto-world cares either. Why? We all know the bags will take years to dump, so why buy it? Because it has a cool UI?
Because it has a grass root movement? Keep on dreamin guys. Ethereum, MAID, BTS are way better choices. They have money, and connections. NXT has a few guys in their basement. And you want me to trust you guys with my money?

In my experience with the NXT community, which is mostly on the SuperNET slack(but that's a lot of people and activity) people are generally pretty interested in Ethereum. There's a dedicated channel for it and lots of talk about how it can be integrated in to SuperNET, as well as how NXT and ETH will coexist. There's a lot of traders there as well, so lots of talk about the post launch dump and such, but that's just standard shop talk and not related to anything to do with the tech. They even set up a Superether asset that was insured up 100 BTC I think to give people a reliable safe place to purchase ETH before it was live on the blockchain.

So maybe the forums are different story like you said, but to me the reality of the day to day activity for lots of people involved in NXT and SuperNET is quite different than the picture you're painting here. Some people might be pretty annoyed at the moment because a certain whale(LSUM) is unloading a big chuck of NXT, but that's not really a big deal at all and better for the long term health and distribution anyway.

Zer0Sum and people with the similar mindset failed to realize that people who are genuinely interested in NXT are also interested in ETH, and maybe obtained some long time ago, now they are probably started finding out ways to integrate ETH and NXT and extend their holdings on both ecosystems. Those who used NXT for trading, without being interested in the platform already dumped their stacks, maybe back in the ETH ICO time, or a few days ago. So, IMO trying to scare away NXT holders, in hopes of pumping ETH is a quite futile effort.

Not sure how many NXT LSUM still hold. I guess 20-30 Million.

The problem with that guy is that he is fucking around on exchanges with only a part of his coins (maybe 3-5 Million) and if he plays smart he is filling his bag with more NXT instead of distribute it

NXT is established and very active, so no, I'm not selling my NXT for ETH. I decided not to invest in ETH at all.

So much true there, that is the main difference between most of the valuable nxt community members which are really interested in crypto and it's ideology and not in making some quick money as most of other coins followers, nxt keeps developing and advancing, like it or not, and I'm almost sure that it will do even if nxt reach 0 value...
Real nxt supporters supports also ethereum for sure, or at leas they have spent some time investigating and testing it...
But ok, ZerOSum, continue speaking nonsenses, fits perfectly in this forum Smiley
For what I read in nxtforum, the opinions about ethereum aren't bad, and people is interested in creating services using both plattforms as Sanail2 says.

And one more thing which I always say: No one cares about new features and reinventing crypto, all the coins which reinvent crypto and don't have the money influx from the bigger bitcoin old miners can't do anything in terms of daily volume "see Qora, nxt, crypti, NEM..." did you see all the things Qora did in last months and who cares? They implemented turing complete in qora, and what? same in counterparty...
