Well I am trading some items on Steam for about 1btc through bitcoincore. This is my first time trading with bitcoins so I have a few questions.

1-Can the sender chargeback his bitcoins like in paypal ?
2-Can I put the bitcoins I get onto paypal for real money ?

This information would help alot

1) NO there is not a chargeback.  Once bitcoins are sent they are gone. (This is for most part make sure to get a confirmation or two before sending item)

2) Paypal and bitcoin don't work well.  Just a lot of scammers if you trade BTC for paypal.   But no you can't put into paypal you would have to use a 3rd party to get paypal money for them and it's risky.     I highly suggest using a exchange linked to a checking account instead of paypal.

What are you selling?

We may be interested and a lot of people sell things on the Goods board of this Forum, for Bitcoin, every single day. You can find very reliable people to serve as escrow to hold payment while the goods are in shipment as well.

1) Yes and no. The sender cannot chargeback the transaction once it gains a confirmation without being very very lucky or have at least 51% of the hashrate as the user can restructure the blockchain. The sender can chargeback if it's unconfirmed. The sender must pay low fees to ensure mining pools aren't motivated to accept it and then doublespend it when it gets dropped from the mempool. The sender can also find a miner who is willing to accept the second double spend transaction.
2) yes, go to currency exchange section or localbitcoins.com.

I just want to pop in for a quick second and mention that it's also technically against the PayPal ToS to buy/sell bitcoins with PayPal funds. That's why chargebacks against bitcoins always work, and also why PayPal and bitcoins don't mix.

You could always do a bank transfer for the bitcoins, and then connect your bank to PayPal and use the funds from there.

@OP, you might want to close this thread now that it's answered. (It's on the bottom left.)

I agree. I am using steam and I mostly play different games and there are times that I wanted to buy items. but I am mostly forced to do trades on different trading places which sometimes turns out to be more expensive.
I would very much like to buy and sell steam stuff with my bitcoin.

@OP: is there a place like a website that you are doing this trade. and how did you find the person to trade with?

1. Nope. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible.
2. Yup, if you can find someone who buys bitcoins via PayPal then you can pretty much convert it into real money.

If you can post the items you are trading in the Digital Goods section that would be great. I'm currently looking for Dota 2 items that I can buy for discounted prices and it seems that there aren't that much offers. If there are, mostly are above market prices, which sucks.

Do the beats, the question has been answered twice before you - with nearly the exact same response as yours. You don't need to respond a third time. Perhaps consider reading the posts before marking your reply. You're not obligated to reply...if you weren't getting paid would you repeat someone else's response?

1 - Bitcoin haven't chargeback: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Payment_methods

There isn't chargeback in Bitcoin, if you send your bitcoin and get the transaction confirmed it's most likely impossible to charge back your bitcoins.
You can use trusted exchangers to exchange your Bitcoin to Paypal directly, or you can use Payza it accept Bitcoin directly without exchanger (min 0.05 BTC)
