I nominate Terminology for Pinning.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=126798.0

I was going through my backlog of unread posts and noticed that over time this thread has never been pinned but is incredibly useful as a reference point to all things Bitcoin and would avoid a fair bit of repeat questions.

That threads needs some updating I think but for sure I think a stickied terminology thread would be useful as a lot of terms are misused by newbies which causes confusion, for example words like brainwallet/paperwallet.

I, myself as a newbie way back before found that thread really helpful. Specially as I'm not that familiar with those terminology so it saves me a lot of time of guessing and also it helped me not to be dumbed and know what the words I see anywhere in here acgually means, so I'm voting that this one needs to be pinned post.

But as the above post said, it needs a bit more updating.

Haven't seen that thread in a while! If yogi wants to update it, then I agree it would be a good idea to sticky it.

It should really almost be stickied in the Bitcoin discussion section as many people seem to skip the newbie section and a lot of that terminology would probably be helpful to non-newbies.

Well, it isn't really appropriate for the section that is for discussion of bitcoins. I would say it should either stay in the Beginners/Help section, or maybe be moved to Meta. IMHO, lots of people check the Beginners/Help section (I for one did) and it is great info for newbies. Plus, many non-newbies check that section as well so it'd get some decent publicity.
