I got a U3 and want to play lucky! I've decided to try my luck mining solo and try my chances in finding a block.
Can anyone give me some light on how to set up solo mining?

Best to run it that way. The minimal fee you would pay in the off chance you find a block is easily offset by the better performance of the pool that would offset by several factor the fee% you'd have to pay against the statistical chance that you get your block orphaned when you find it.
TLDR: You have better chances at solo.ck pool than if you set up mining on your own node.
