mining bitcoins at this point of time is not at all efficient unless you do it on large scale or the electricity is free.

Hard to tell you what would be profitable for you since you gave absolutely 0 information to go with. Also Cheap and Efficient doesnt work together. Its at best either one or the other, its never both and its actually fairly often neither.

You have to build a large mining rig to do this in profit. I suggest you to look here if you want to compare many mining hardware: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

you have to look first are your electricity, if that not cheap than having a cheap miners will not help much

for cheap i mean 0.05 no more, you can try with 0.1 and resell your miner at certain point, it may work, more risky though...

You got to give the details regarding your budget at least and how much is the electricity in where your planning to mine... Are you planning to earned good amount of Bitcoins or just to get a taste of how mining Bitcoin is in which you could go for super cheap USB miner.

Ah, well, if you're just looking to have some fun and not really into generating btc, get a gekko sidehack stick. The sales reopened lately so it would be a good usb stick to learn some basics mining concept (maybe).

You could try to get some U3 but its not really a great miner for a couple of reasons. Maybe 20$ each could be worth it.

They go for around double that currently it's going to be around 40ish on most u3's.   So you are paying for a lotto machine and chances of profit or even ROI is slim.

You need to look at a bigger machine if you want ROI.  Price per TH is just a lot cheaper.  Yes it's more expensive but if you want chance at ROI you have to do it.  Also with U3 they are a pain on zombie you need some automation on reset unless you enjoy babysitting gear.

Maybe he wasn't active that's why he only have 2 activity. In our country, Philippines we cannot mine bitcoin with a little hardware because our electricity costs is too damn high and we need larger funds for a better bitcoin hardware.
