Wish the author would update it to work correctly with the newer versions of BFGMiner.

He parted with coinmyne and moved back to his old website

Having said that the project is dead, which is a shame as this and cgremote were excellent programs which I paid to support.

hi, I have a problem with cgwatcher after clear installation of win7. It was running without problems before installation on win 7 32bit +sp1+all updates. But there is an error now:

it occurs only when I click MANAGE POOLS button. I am running windows 7 64bit + SP1 + all updates + net framework4. I tried to run it in compatibility mode and as admin but it is still the same.

Here are details of this error message:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

is there any solution, or is there any alternative watcher?

Does anyone know why Justin split ?
Does it  have anything to do with CoinMyne ?

I'd like to renew my subscription to CGRemote and the code doesn't work
and I don't want to send any $$$ not knowing if Justin is going to get it or not.

Pete...

a few month ago I asked him why he told me
UN foreseen things came up he may not be able to keep this going , wish i had kept that email now i would, link it , he told me i could but me being me .I felt it wasn't my right to do he should have.

he said he might give us all free full access, i see didn't happen, or make the code open Source so some one could pick it up , which didn't happen .

I won't renew it, even if the renewal  code worked.

what would happen if:  I would renew it, it would be my luck the next day, whoever is paying to host the service, the services  per pay time would run out or if it's being paid month to month they might stop paying and leave us in the cold .

plus   and my main reason why I won't pay to renew :

NO updates sense July of last year for remote and the last time, i think watcher, was updated was Sep of last year, i like this soft ware, over any we can use now, free or paid for but no updates and no one putting in and fixing any thing or any bugs, not worth  it, that was the whole point of paying  .

sadly this would work great with BFG 5.3 and My S5  there is a version of BFG now that works with the S5 but you need some kind of monitoring program luke has to rewrite the frim ware for BFG but hes does have a working version  for S5's and remote works much better then any of the free ones .

 but no support. I'm not about, to spend 50 bucks for a year, hope it's still here in a year, with no Development being done at all FOR  CGREMOTE.

Geh! I was looking for a remote management tool which I can power down my miner (it's getting to summer in Aus and it get's hot!)

Does anyone know any other good tools? Tried Crytoglance but don't like it tbh, didn't actually monitor heat levels and tell me and doesn't have a power down option.

Newbie hobby miner who just picked up an S4!

Hmm... Checked the Awesome Miner, and didn't found reliable crash functionality (maybe, I've missed some settings?). Looks like it can't restart computer/GPU if some videocard will die, or the hashrate fill fall below defined limit (which is usually also means, that one of the GPU is dead). It's not a fully functional replacing...

Hi,

Awesome Miner can do that and much more. For the advanced users, it also provides a C# script interface, to add even more flexibility.
You can find more information on the link below, and just let me know if you have any questions:

give awesome miner some time it's worth it and cost less then  CGWatcher and  CGremote did by far ,I used to support this as well , the DEV of awesome miner seems to be very active and on top of getting features added asap just have to ask for it .

I realize this is an old topic, but I'm sure many others beside myself are likely looking for a similar solution that CG Watcher provided with the recent release of GekkoScience/sidehack 2PAC USB Miners (and even more recently, the Moonlander 2). I have never used CG Watcher, but I sure could use a program and/or script to automatically restart CGMiner if/when it crashes! I'm on Windows 10 and have tried adding the .bat file to my computers startup processes, along with a couple different scripts that attempt to restart CGMiner if they notice it is not running after any amount of time.

Does anyone have a working download link for CG Watcher and was it a free or pay service? Guess I will give Awesome Miner a try for now, but would be great to try CG Watcher if there was a way for me to get it! As always, thanks for the help!  Wink
