GPU mining Bitcoin is so much old school that you will not have any success with it my friend.
All miners who try make some money with mining Bitcoin use ASICS!!And a lot of them!
GPU mining is working for some altcoins like Litecoin or Ethereum I believe.
Better stay away from that kind of ideas.

I would focus on how it is the future of the financial world.

With the recent interest from major banking corporations and private institutions, it is just a matter of time before it gets major attention. Even if it will not be in the form of bitcoin, bitcoin will surely benefit from all the exposure of the private chains and stuff.
