IS THE USE OF INTERNET MAKING YOU EMOTIONLESS?

I am just spending more of my time on internet than spending it with my buddies i think that is the only thing that internet changed me but im sure that i still have a good social life outside the cyber world and i still have a complete emotion . I can still laugh so hard , i can still feel a pleasure and even a pain physically and emotionally .

well i agree with you with everything you just said except for one thing. this circumstances are more observed in the current generation. young people nowadays have a great deal of tendency to be more snob and emotionless.

I also feel that the youny generation of 21st century who spent more time on internet are becoming emotionless.
They are losing track of the basic human instinct. They are mostly engaged in their virtual life and are less concerned about being together with other people.

Lol, what are you talking about? People who sit in front of their computer everyday has nothing to do with their brain. It's their natural thing, to have emotion. You can't remove it in every person unless they remove the part of the brain that manage to make emotions.

I do feel a little bit brain dead at times but it has not got anything to do with my emotions. Stress is what causes me to have ups and downs emotionally but on the internet I relax but it only hurts my eyesight sometimes.

very good i have the same feeling. i think if a person is alive he must have emotion. the only this is that some people have control on their emotion and some do not have control on their emotion. other wise emotion is some thing natural that cannot be removed from a living person.

People themselves don't realize the effect of virtual social life. If we are doing online job then it's a different thing but using social media constantly can cause damage on human emotions. Few studies have been conducted that said people addicted to social media usually feel unportable being around people. They tend to feel disconnected.

So there is a feel that I am being socially awkward with less cheerful activities and loss of interest in real life. I used to watch lot of movies, romantic and tragedies, but now i don't get any feels for them. Also, my real life friends are starting to fade away. Do you feel the same? Or is the overuse of Internet proving beneficial?

I feel the same. It's easy to say stop to use internet for a while and go outside, but it's not easy to do. I tried to forget about internet at least for the time of my vacations somewhere on the seaside, but but... I couldn't. In couple days I came back to using it and posting my photos from a beach and reply on comments of my friends to that pictures. It's just a bog.

its possible that you'd be emotionless later when you get to be busy online.
you might not have time to play around with your kids anymore because there's just a lot of things to do online besides trading bitcoins.

Yeah but you can't remove the fact that we have an empathy, most of people had it. If you don't, you are immediately classified as psychopaths. People who can control their emotion can still feel empathy if they feel the situation reflect them.

You should know it in teenage girls. You know when puberty once strike to you, you can't deny the fact that they are undergoing over-sensitive, maturity and immaturity but most of them failed to pass being mature and can only think of it once they experience how it feels being embarrassed.

The fact is the more u use internet,more u get "socially ill" i mean you dont meet people,you dont meet new friends etc.you just sit and do ... "something"

to me it if we talk about the majority. i will like to say that there is no such element in internet that can cause a person emotion less. i will like to add that there are such kind of elements which can cause us emotional. for example the news of the Afghanistan war Shaam and Esrail  usually cause us emotional.

may be bad but i think it has no concern with the emotion of a person. although it make arise your emotion while watchin social media the different kind of news and activities but i think it cannot make yo emotionless.
