How to approach August 1 for investing? How I see it: let me know if I'm wrong: People will sell their btc after they receive their free BCC on August 1. This will cause btc price to go down. However, if they sell their BTC for alts, alt prices will go up. However, if they sell their btc for fiat and don't re-invest in alts due to a distrust of bitcoin and all cryptos in general due to fork drama, bitcoin price lowering will take all alts lower too.

So the question is, do we buy alts now, or after August 1? If people start selling bitcoin for alts right after they receive their free BCC, alt prices will skyrocket. Or will alt prices go down since if bitcoin price goes down, it tends to take alt prices down with it?

If you study crytocurrency price history you will understand that what ever happened to bitcoin also happen to altcoins. I see bitcoin going up in this whole issues. I will advise every one to go https:// reddit.com/r/bitcoin for experts view on what is going to happen august first. Bcc is going to be treated as altcoins because people promoting it are not up to 5% of bitcoin holder. Many big investors are put in more force to make  bitcoin remain strong after the fork.
