Been offered a couple of FPGA for a reasonable price but how far away are the asics really?

Dont worry by the time you gets yours unless you got a mid range to top one, yours will be worthless Tongue

Latest news from BFL here https://twitter.com/BFL_News

so last post from Josh suggesting that Minirigs and SC singles will be pouring out this month.... they apparently received their new long boards this week just gone and hence the "we will start mass shipping"

a number ... well orders for jallys up to the 29/6/2012 have been delivered... so not mass producing stuff yet really but that kinda what they saying they will be doing now... but we've all heard that before!!

I'd grab the FPGA's tbh and then if u want sell them on a little later... i may even be interested in them Smiley ASICMiner have shipped a LOT of the USB miners.... as in mine is in DHL depot atm and fingers crossed will be with me before the end of the week.... that is in a group buy ... 300 USB min order... each 330MH per USB = 99,000 GH released each shipment sent out... and I know of 2 that have happened..and lot more to come... so don't expect the FPGA's to last all that much in the ASIC fields... but PPC and the merged mined chains interest me and FPGA's that can be reprogrammed for script will be massive advantage to.
